4)SoftwareInstallation
4.1 DownloadfromMobiShow box
1) TurnonWiFion yourphone.
2) Connectyourphoneto MobiShowwireless network.TheSSIDisdisplayedon
screen (defaultSSIDis MobiShow).
3) Open thebrowseron yourphoneand entertheIPaddress of theMobiShowbox.
♦ThedefaultIPaddress is 192.168.100.10.
♦Or,referto theIPaddress which shownon theprojectorscreen.
4) Thefollowingweb pagewill beshownon yourbrowser.

5) Select “Download”to enterthesoftwaredownload page.
6) Clickthe “Download”button todownload thesoftwareinstaller(inCABformat)
to yourphone.
7) Open Exploreron yourphoneandfind theCABfile.
8) Doubleclickon theCABfileto startinstallation.
9) Followon-screeninstructionsto finishinstallation.
4.2 Install fromCD
1) ConnectyourWindowsMobilephoneto PC. Makesureitisconnectedin
ActiveSync.
2) InsertMobiShowSetup CDto PC.
3) TheAutoRunprogram willautomaticallybringup theSetup page.If thesystem
asksyou whatto do on CDinsertion,pleaseselect “Launch MobiShow Setup CD”.
4) On theSetup page,select “Install toPhone”.
5) Followtheon-screeninstructionstoinstall softwareto PC.
6) When prompted,checkthescreenof yourphoneto finish installation on your
phone.

7)UsingMobiShowwitha Smartphone
1) Open “Programs”on yourphoneand find “MobiShow”application.
2) Select “MobiShow”icon to launch theclientsoftware.
3) MobiShowclientwillsearchforMobiShowboxautomatically.When aboxis
found,itwillautomaticallylogin and thefollowingmain menu isshownon your
phone.
lIf morethan oneMobiShowisfound,thefollowinglistisdisplayed foryou to
selecttheoneto use.

4) Selectwhichfeatureto use.To projectthescreenof yourphone,clickon the
“Screen”icon.To do aPC-less presentation with Presentation-to-Go (PtG),select
the “PtG”icon.ToplayavideoorMP3fromyourphone,selectthe “Media”icon.
lScreenProjection:
MobiShowwill projectanythingdisplayedon yourscreen.You maylaunch
anotherapplication(such PowerPointViewer)oropen anyfile(such asWord
documentorJPGimage)and itwillbeprojected to theprojector.
Note:Donot exitMobiShowapplication whileopening otherapplication tokeep
screenprojected.
Clickthe “Stop”icon to stop projection.
Clickthe “Pause”icon to pauseprojection.Click “Pause”again to resume
projection.
Clickthe “Zoom”iconto zoomtheprojected screen to extend thelongestsideof
yourscreen to fillthescreen.
Clickthe “Play”icon to startprojectionagainifitis stopped.
Clickthe “OK”button or “Back”to return to main menu.

lWirelessPtG:
When you selectPtGfunction,MobiShowclientwill automaticallyopenExplorer
foryou to selectaPtGfile.Selectthefiletoopenforyourpresentation.When
thefileisopen,thePtGslideswillbeprojected,and thefollowingscreenis
displayed on yourphoneforyou to controlyourPtGpresentation.
Click “Prev”or “Next”to go to thepreviousornextitemin theslide.
Click “PgUp”or “PgDn”to go to previousornextslide.
Click “Stop”to stop projectingthefile.Theicon will become “Play”if thefileis
notplayed.Click “Play”again to playthefileifitisstopped.
Click “Home”to go to thefirstslide.
Click “Jump”and MobiShowclientwill showeveryslideon thephone.You can
selectanypageto go to.
Click “Open”to selectanotherPtGfile.

lMediaSender:
When you selectMediaSenderfunction,MobiShowclientwillautomatically
open Explorerforyou to selectamediafile.Selectafile(videosin mpegorwmv9
format,orMP3 musicfiles)to play.When thefileis open,themediawillbe
projected,and thefollowingscreenisdisplayedon thephoneforyou to control
yourmediaplayback.
Click “FR”or “FF”to seekbackwardorforward.
Click “Vol-“or “Vol+”to adjustvolumeforplayback.
Click “Stop”to stop playingthefile.Theiconwillbecome “Play”if thefileisnot
played.Click “Play”again to playthefileif itisstopped.
Click “Mute”to mutetheaudio.Click “Mute”again to bringaudioback.
Click “Open”to selectanothermediafile.
5) When you arein themain menu,clickthe “OK”button or “Back”again to close
theapplication.

8)UsingMobiShowwitha PC
BesidesSmartphones,you mayalso useMobiShowwith onePC. TouseMobiShow
with yourPC,followthestepsto installMobiShowclientto yourPCand use
MobiShow.
1) InserttheMobiShowSetup CDto yourPC.
2) TheAutoRunprogram willautomaticallybringup theSetup page.If thesystem
asksyou whatto do on CDinsertion,pleaseselect “Launch MobiShow Setup CD”.
3) On theSetup page,select “Install PCUtilities”.
4) Followtheon-screeninstructionstoinstall softwareto PC.
5) Afterinstallation,thefollowingshortcutswill beplaced ontheDesktop.

6) Makesureyourpersonal firewallallowsMobiShowsoftwareto pass through.
7) Wheninstallationiscompleted,thisprogram willlaunch automaticallyand search
forMobiShowboxes. When aMobiShowboxisfound,thesoftwarewill
automaticallyloginifno otherPCisusingit.

8) Thefollowingcontrolpanelisdisplayed on yourDesktop ifitlogin successfully.
Clickthe “Play”button to startprojection.Clickthe “Pause”icon to
pauseprojection.Theiconwillbecome “Play”if projectionispaused.Click
“Play”again to resumeprojection.
Click “Stop”to stop projection.
9) Youmayswitch to “Video”paneto stream videosfromyourPC.
Clickthe “Play”button to startplaying. Click “Pause”to pausethe
streaming. Theicon willbecome “Play”if thefileispaused.Click “Play”
again to resumestreaming.
Click “Stop”to stop playingthefile.
Click “Open”to selectanothermediafile.
Click “Mute”to mutetheaudio.Click “Mute”again to bringaudioback.

9)UsingPtGConverter
Open “MobiShow PtGConverter”in “MobiShow\MobiShow PtGConverter”folder
from “Programs”in theStartmenu.Thefollowingcontrolpanelisdisplayedon your
Desktop when itislaunched.
Clickthe “Convert”button to selectaPowerPointPPT fileand startconversion.
PtGConverterwill openthePowerPointfileandconvertitto PtGformat.You can see
theconversion process on yourDesktop.
Clickthe “Preview”button to expand orcollapsethepreviewpane.Click “
Play”to playbackselectedPtGfile,orclick “Open”to selectaPtGfile.

Therearemanykindsofoperatingconfigurationsasbelow.
<Auto-Configuration NetworkSetup>
Thedefaultsettingof theMobiShowboxisDHCPclient.When theMobiShowboxis
connected toaLAN thatalreadyhasaDHCPserverpresent,theMobiShowboxtakes
an IPaddress assigned to itbytheserver.When theMobiShowboxisconnected to a
LAN thatdoesnothaveaDHCPserver, theMobiShowboxbecomestheDHCPserver
in thenetwork.

*** Click [FirmwareUpgrade] buttonto upgradefirmware.
♦Firstly,you haveto getlatestfirmwareimagefilefromyourvendor.
♦Click <Browse> to specifyfilenameyou wantto upgrade.
♦Click <Upgrade> to start.
When upgradeinprocess,theLEDturnstored.Theupgradeprocess takesabout7
minutesto complete.Itwill rebootoncefirmwareupgradeisfinished.Ifforsome
reason itdoesnotrebootafter15 minutes, pleasemanuallyturnoff thedeviceand
turn on again.
Warning: Don tpoweroff MobiShowwhilefirmwareupgradein progress,
otherwisewillcauseyourBoxdoesn tworkand haveto return deviceto yourvendor
forfixing.
