To prevent personal injury, injury to others, and property damage,
please read carefully the following safety instructions and keep this
manual book for further reference:
To avoid the risk of electrical shock, do not put the motor unit
(main machine) into the water or other liquid. Charging interface of
this appliance cannot be directly washed with water.
Do not operate the blender if the blender cup has not been
installed on the motor unit; without the lid on; and without the
ingredients (with empty cup).
Do not operate the blender during charging.
Do not place the blender near or on the hot surfaces.
Use accessories that are only provided by MODENA or authorized
manufacturers. MODENA will not take responsibility for any
damage caused by the use of inappropriate accessories.
The use of blender accessories including cups that are not
recommended or sold by MODENA may cause risk of injury to
person and damage to the appliance.
Do not heat any accessories of this blender as it may result in
damage to the accessories.
Before use, the ingredients (especially with hard seeds, thick skins
or hard shells) must be cut into small pieces about 1.2 cm x 1.2 cm.
This blender should be kept out of reach of children and is not
intended to be used by persons with special needs for their
physical, sensory or mental capabilities; lack of experience and
knowledge (including children); unless they have been given close
supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance by
a person who responsible for their safety.
This portable blender is only suitable for household and indoor use.
Do not operate this blender with a damaged USB cord or charging
interface; after the appliance malfunction or is dropped and
damaged in any manner. Contact MODENA Customer Care for
repair.
WARNING!
The blades are extremely sharp. DO NOT come into contact with
the moving blades or movable parts of this blender to avoid injury.
Carefully touch inactive blades while cleaning.

Before using this portable blender, please charge it for 3-5 hours first,
and clean thoroughly all of the blender parts that come into contact
with the food ingredients (see “Maintenance” chapter).
This portable blender could be used as coffee maker, vacuum travel
cup, juice blender, soy milk maker, tea cup and many more. Please
follow the steps below to use the portable blender according to several
purposes :
Charging Portable Blender
This portable blender is equipped with USB 5V Smart Charging that
can also fitted to mobile phone charger. To charge the blender, use the
standard mobile phone charging head; connect the charging head to
the magnetic suction charging cable provided along with this blender;
then, plug the cable on the pad of motor unit as shown in the picture
below.
CAUTION!
This portable blender is equipped with Double Protection that
makes the blender incapable to be used until the cup is installed to
its position on the motor unit.
PART 3: HOW TO USE

Making and Brewing Coffee
1. Put the sufficient amount of coffee beans into the coffee cup.
2. Screw on the motor unit to the stainless steel cup.

3. After all the parts above are assembled properly, turn the blender
upside down (placing the motor unit at the bottom), and double
click to switch on the blender for grinding. The motor will stop
automatically for 40 seconds.
4. After grinding, place the cup opposite upside down (with motor
unit at the top); slowly unscrew the motor unit out of the cup; pour
the coffee powder into the coffee filter; place the filter filled with
coffee powder on the cup; then, pour the hot water onto the filter
for boiling, soaking or brewing the coffee.

5. Add the sufficient amount of sugar or cream to suit your taste;
remove the filter out of the cup; and cover the cup with drinking lid
to be carried out easily. Enjoy your coffee
Blending Juice
1. Firstly, cut the ingredients (e.g. fruit/vegetable) into small pieces
about 1.2 cm x 1.2 cm; put the ingredients into the plastic cup; and
then, add some water, milk or other liquids with maximum amount
less than 300 ml.

2. Screw on the plastic cup to the motor unit.
3. Turn the motor unit upside down, and double click to switch the
blender on for blending. The motor will stop automatically for 40
seconds. Double click continuously to rework if the ingredients are
not perfectly blended yet.

4. After blending, place the blender opposite upside down (with
motor unit at the top); unscrew the motor unit out of the cup; and
then, cover the cup with drinking lid to be carried out easily. Enjoy
your juice.
Brewing Tea
1. Screw on the juice/vegetable filter to the drinking lid.

2. Put 2 tea bags or 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea in the plastic cup;
fill the cup halfway with hot water; and let the tea steep with water
for 3 to 5 minutes depending on the personal preferences.
3. Cover the cup with drinking lid to be carried out easily. Enjoy your
tea.

Making Soy Milk
1. Steam the soybean for 15 minutes beforehand to be grinded
easily; put the soybean into the juice/vegetable filter (about 50 g,
not exceeding the Maximum mark); pour the drinking water
halfway into the cup; and screw the filter on the motor unit.
2. Screw the motor unit that is attached with juice/vegetable filter to
the plastic cup.

3. Turn the cup upside down (placing the motor unit at the bottom);
double click the power switch to switch on the blender for
blending. The motor will stop automatically for 40 seconds. The
blender can be shaken slowly while working, if necessary.
4. After blending, place the blender opposite upside down (with
motor unit at the top); unscrew the motor unit (attached to the
filter) out of the cup; and then, cover the cup with drinking lid to
be carried out easily. Enjoy your soy milk.

Make sure this portable blender has been turned off before
cleaning.
Please clean the blender after continuous use.
Damp cloth can be used to wipe the outside of the motor unit.
Do not soak and wash the motor unit into or under the water or
other liquid.
Wash lids, cups, and blade set with warm soapy water.
Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners or corrosive liquid (such
as gasoline or acetone) to clean this portable blender.
To avoid damage or deformation of this blender, do not put any
parts of it into dishwasher for cleaning.
This blender should be stored in a dry place and in a place without
direct ultraviolet radiation.
Ensure that the blender is already clean and dry before storing it.
If the blender is not used frequently, please charge it once a
month to avoid battery damage.
WARNING!
All parts of this blender are not allowed to be sterilized by
microwave oven and other heaters in order to avoid deformation
and damage caused by heat.
CAUTION!
When washing the blade set, it is better to use a dishwashing
utensil with a handle to avoid hands directly in contact with sharp
blades.
