The grinding machine can work two ways, depending on the purpose:
Hospitality mode: For the use of employees of a company.
No credit is required for function, therefore, the machine does not accept
coins or prepaid cards.
Vending mode: To be managed by an operator.
To receive serving, insert coins or prepaid cards.
1.1 HOSPITALITY MODE (Modo DH)
In this mode, the grinding machine is limited to counting the number of ground
coffees per grinder and show when a maintenance check is due.
The user of the machine can set the displayed time and the activation time of
each grinder via the menu system described below, but does not have access
to the other configurations.
1.2 HOSPITALITY MODE + 2 QUALITY LEVELS (Modo DH+2C)
The same function as in Hospitality mode, with one difference:
When getting a serving the cutter mill opens and closes with a subsequent
pause. By pressing the button during this pause, the grinder grinds and extracts
an extra serving, but grinds the normal serving for the next portion.
You can adjust the normal time and extra time for each grinder separately.
1.3 VENDING MODE (Modo DV)
In this mode, the machine shows the number of available servings and
grinds only as long as there is credit.
The access code allows control of the whole unit. Without the access code
you cannot change any settings.
Each grinder can be configured as 1 serving or 2 servings. The activation time
of each grinder is adjustable.
After closing the cutter mill, the grinder prepares the next serving, according
to the activation time of the grinder.

1.4 VENDING MODE + 2 QUALITY LEVELS (Modo DV+2C)
The same function as in Hospitality mode, with one difference:
Each grinder calculates one credit per serving, two for double serving.
When getting a serving the cutter mill opens and closes with a subsequent
pause. By pressing the button during this pause, the grinder grinds and extracts
an extra serving, but grinds the normal serving for the next portion.
You can adjust the normal time and extra time for each motor separately.
You control the menu with 4 buttons: Subir and BAJAR to get forwards and
back in the menu on the display, ACEPTAR to accept the displayed option,
and CANCELAR to cancel and return to the previous menu.
2.1 ACCESS CODE
You can enter the access code on the start screen via the ACEPTAR button.
There are two different codes, one to change modes and one to access
to the configuration.
The configuration code already appears on the display in hospitality mode,
because it is assumed, that the machine is accessible to the public.
2.2 TOGGLE MODE
You get to the menu to toggle mode by entering the access code for toggle mode.
The message displayed is "Modo DH", "Modo DH + 2C” "Modo DV",
"Modo DV + 2C”.
2.3 CONTROL
If you enter the configuration code of the machine you get to a menu system.
The top line displays the name of each sub menu, the bottom line the information
for each selection.
You can change the menu with the buttons SUBIR and BAJAR. With the button
ACEPTAR you can change the setting, depending on menu displayed.
Functions of each sub menu:

B

2.3.1 Language
This option is only available in Vending mode. You can choose between 6 languages
on the display: Spanish, English, Portuguese, Italian, French or German.
This change is only visual and does not affect how the machine functions.
2.3.2 Dose duration
In this menu you can change the activation time of each grinder separately.
In "DV" mode you can also see to what serving type each grinder is set
(single or double).
In “2C” mode (two quality levels), you can configure additional time for each grinder.
The default time is 3 seconds for grinder 1 (left) and 6 seconds for grinder 2 (right),
plus 2 seconds extra time. The time can be set in tenths of a second.
2.3.3 Price
This option is only available in Vending mode. It defines how many servings are added
per euro. It increases by half servings. A half serving is not sufficient to activate
the grinder, it requires at least 2 halves.
2.3.4 Servings of the grinders
This option is only available in “DV” mode. It defines how many servings are
deducted per coffee serving from each grinder. The default setting is “single" for left
and "double" for right.
2.3.5 Show counter
This menu allows no changes, it displays the various internal counters of the machine:
total of the prepared servings per grinder, total of both grinders together, amount of
coins and of the credited servings.
The number of coffee servings per grinder can be reset, the total of the two
cannot. The amount of coins divides into relative and absolute, and only the relative
amount can be reset. The total number of servings is used to monitor the functionality
of the machine and to show possible misuse.
2.3.6 Number of servings
This option is only available in Vending mode. It allows you to change the number
of servings currently available, regardless of the inserted coins.

2.3.7 Partial delete
This option is only available in Vending mode. It only deletes the displayed entry.
The total input is never completely erased.
2.3.8 Reset parameter
This option is only available in Vending mode. It loads the factory setting and resets
all counters except the total number of coffees, the total revenue and the total of
servings.
2.3.9 Time setting
This option allows you to set the time on the main display.
While the machine is turned off, the clock does not work, and the time
must be reset.
2.3.10 Maintenance
With this option, you can set after how many servings of coffee the machine
displays due maintenance checks and reset each counter individually
(For example, to show, if only one grinder has been serviced).
The machine continues to function normally while displaying the maintenance check
and keeps showing the warning until it is serviced.
2.3.11 Waiting time
This option is only available in “2C” mode (2 Quality levels). This allows you to set
the waiting time after the first use of the cutter mill, to activate the extra serving.
The default time is 3 seconds and can be changed by tenths of a second.
2.4 Coin selector
There are two options: with and without warning. The selector with warning controls
the rejection of invalid coins by software and is usually used by MODO selectors.
The selector without warning rejects invalid coins by a switch directly on the selector.
The MODO selector is configured in this mode.
By default, the circuit works with the selector in NRI. To change the mode proceed
as follows:
1Turn off the machine.
2Press and hold the S1 button (or the J11 connector) and turn the power on.
