Please read this manual carefully before using the device.
WORK PRINCIPLES
MODUS Dog Training Collar is specially developed and designed for dog training, which
mainly has two parts: the remote and receiver. It establishes signal connection between
the remote and the receiver through wireless communication technology (the effective
distance is up to 300 meters),and realizes the purpose of long-distance one-click dog
training through the remote sending instruction to the receiver. When the dog behaves
uncivilized, the owner only needs to operate the remote, which can correct the bad
behavior through the functions of sound instruction, recording playback, vibration and
static shock. After a period of time, dogs will gradually develop good civilized behavior.
SCENARIOS

INSTRUCTIONS
Ⅰ. FIT THE COLLAR
Note: Please make sure the collar is put on dog’s neck firmly, not too tight and
not too loose. The probes must be touching the skin of the dog in order for
effective electric shock.
1. Make sure your dog is relaxed before wearing it (Figure A).
2. Open the collar buckle, adjust the appropriate length to completely surround
the dog's neck, and align the inner microphone with the dog's pronunciation part
(Figure B).
Note: Make sure that both metal detectors pass completely through the dog's
hair and make contact with the dog's skin. If necessary, trim the dog's hair to
ensure good contact.
3. Buckle the dog collar. When the collar is buckled, the collar should be behind
the dog's ear (the uppermost part of the neck).
4. Adjust the collar to the appropriate length until you can put one finger
between the dog's neck and collar. Also make sure that the collar is stable, but
not too tight.
5. Give your dog enough time to adapt to wearing a collar. This step is to ensure
that the collar is still safe and secure in your dog's daily activities.
6. Remove the collar from the dog's neck, cut off the excess material, and
reserve a length of about 1 inch.
7. Seal the edge of the cut collar with flame (Figure C).
8. Put the collar on your dog again and use it after it is installed.

Ⅱ.Turn On and Off
1. How to turn on/off the remote :
Turn on: press any key to turn on the device, LCD display and backlight will turn on, the
device will be into the normal working mode.
Turn off: the backlight will turn off in 20 seconds without operation, and turn off display
and the device in 40 seconds without operation.
2. How to turn on/off the receiver.
Turn on: After a brief touch with the remote's antenna sensor, it turns on with a “beep”.
Turn off: After a brief touch with the remote's antenna sensor, it turns off with two
“beep”.
Note: In standby mode, green LED of the receiver flashes once every 5 seconds.

Ⅲ.How to charge the device?
When purchasing the device, there is a USB cable attached in the packing box. Please
connect the USB cable with the adapter, and then insert it into a charge port like power
transformer, power strip, power bank or computer port to charge the device.
Ⅳ. Switch Channels
Press the “CH” key, you can select the receiver that you want to control. After pairing,
the receiver will only work under this channel. When “ALL” is displayed on the remote
screen, you can control receivers of all channels. (If you purchase the receiver version
separately, you need to manually pair them.)

Ⅴ.Pairing Of The Receiver And Remote
The device works by radio channel communication. The remote and receiver need to be
on the same channel to work properly. Before delivery, we will pair the remote with the
receiver. If remote has lost contact with receiver because of signal interruption or
power outage, please pair manually.
1. Use the remote's antenna sensor to touch the receiver's sensor for about 3-5
seconds until the receiver issues a “beep” and a green light flashes, indicating that it is
waiting for pairing.
2. The receiver will wait for the pairing state for 10 seconds.During this period, it will
quickly flash the green light, then please press the vibration key of the remote within 10
seconds, and the receiver will emit a “beep” when receives the signal, which means the
pairing is completed.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Function Introduction
1. Static Shock Mode
Before using for the first time, you can use the test bulb to test whether it works
properly.
Different dogs have different resistance values. You can gradually use the equipment
when you start to find appropriate electric shock level for your dog.
For initial use, select the minimum static shock for the pet and watch his reaction. If
any adverse reactions occur, please stop immediately.
Press the shock key with remote, and the receiver will release the shock.
2. Vibration & “Beep” Sound Mode
Before using the static shock, you can use the sound and vibration first, which allows
the dog to form a conditioned reflex. It is the safest method of training and helps to
improve the effect of training. You can combine reward training to train your dog to
make a series of actions by vibration or sound. The vibration is divided into level 1-
9,and intensity of the sound is not adjustable. Press the vibration or sound key with the
remote, and the receiver will vibrate or send out a “beep".

3.Recording Playback Mode
1. The "RCE-1, RCE-2" recording keys of the receiver can record a 4-second long
sound instruction.
2. Press and hold the RCE key for about 2 seconds, after one “beep” sound,it will enter
the recording mode, please speak the instruction clearly and loudly at the microphone
within 4 seconds.After two “beep” sound, the recording finishes and you can click the
REC key to play back the recording .
3. After recording, the corresponding PLAY1 and PLAY2 keys of the remote can play
two instructions separately.
4. The volume of the recording is fixed, which cannot be enlarged or reduced,and the
former recording can not be deleted, you can replace it with a new recording.
5. The recording function can be combined with your training and interact with your
pet, but the actual training effect depends on whether your dog is familiar with your
sound instruction.

4.Levels Adjustment Mode
The vibration and static shock modes of this product can adjust different levels.
1. Vibration Mode: It is divided into nine levels, press the “+” key and the “-” key to
adjust the levels. With the increase of the level, vibration intensity will increase, level 1
is the lightest, and level 9 is the strongest.
2. Static Shock Mode: It is divided into nine levels, press the “+” key and the “-” key to
adjust the levels. With the increase of the level, vibration intensity will increase, level 1
is the lightest, and level 9 is the strongest.
5.Lock Key
The middle one is the normal no-lock mode; Slide up to enter the lock mode. After
locking the screen, the lock icon will be displayed on the screen, Any button cannot
activate the remote. Slide down to turn off the static shock mode. the static shock
forbidden icon will appear on the screen. In non-punitive training, you can turn off the
static shock mode.

7.Indicator Light
1. Power Indicator Light---The red light will flash quickly when the battery is down to
20%.The red light is always on when charging. The light will turn off when fully charged.
2. Operating Indicator Light---The indicator light will be on and keep flashing every 5
seconds when the receiver turns on and keeps working state. When the receiver enters
low-energy sleep mode, the green light will stop flashing. The green light will flash
quickly in recording state. when executing the instruction, the green light will be on.
HINTSANDTIPS
The remote
1. The device should be handled with care, don’t collide, shake or vibrate seriously.
2. When using the device, don’t close to strong magnetic field or strong electric field.
3. The device prevents any liquid from overflowing or don’t close to any heat source.
4. Don’t disassemble, repair or transform the device by yourself.
5. Please place the device out of reach of infants and children.
6. It is normal for the device to make slight noise during work, so don’t be afraid.
7. The device adopts safe ultrasonic, which is no any damage to human body.
8. The device should not be placed near the ear for using.

The Collar
1. Before using it, please fully charge the remote and receiver.
2. Try vibration and sound modes to train dog first. If that doesn't work, then you can
select static shock mode.
3. Select the lowest level to train dog and watch the dog's reaction. If your dog feels
unwell, please stop using it immediately.
4. Pay attention to the dog's neck when wearing the receiver collar. If there is any skin
injury, please stop using it immediately until the dog recovers.
5. The receiver collar adopts IP67 waterproof level, which can effectively prevent rain
and play in shallow water.
6. It is recommended that the receiver collar is worn for no more than 4 hours at a time.
7. The conductive silicone cover of the thimble can be comfortably worn by most dogs.
This product is only suitable for pet training, do not abuse animals.
8. Don’t use a collar with the receiver as a traction collar.
WARNING
1. Please fully charge the Remote and Receiver before you use the products.
2. First try vibration and tone to train dogs. If that doesn’t provide results, advance to
shock mode.
3. Always start from the lowest level of shock and observe the dog’s reaction. If your
dog becomes uncomfortable, please stop using immediately.
4. Please keep an eye on dog’s neck when wearing the receiver collar. If there is any
skin injury, please stop using immediately until the dog recovers.
5. The product adopts IP67 waterproof grade, which can effectively prevent rain, but
cannot be immersed in water.
6. Please don’t keep receiver collar on dogs for more than 4 hours at a time.
7. Contact points are made of silicone; most dogs can wear it comfortably. If some
dogs are allergic to silicone or feel uncomfortable with collar, please stop using it and
consult a veterinarian. This product is only suitable for training and is banned for
animal abuse.
8. Do not use the collar with the receiver as a traction collar, this will cause adverse
reactions to the product and the dog.
