SMT-5 Satellite Speaker
INTRODUCTION:
Thank you for your choice in purchasing our loudspeakers. The SMT-5 is one of our
smallest satellite speaker designed by MODVO, a manufacturer that specialize in build-
ing compact loudspeakers.
The SMT-5 speaker adds great build quality and solid sound at a affordable price. This
compact monitor speaker adds accurate sound quality that is not heard of in a speaker
this size and price.
PREPARING THE SPEAKERS:
Please read this entire manual before making any connections. Follow the steps below.
1. Before you hook-up your speakers, make sure your receiver/amplifier is powered
off. Once your amplifier is off, you can begin hooking up you speakers to the amp.
There are two terminals on the rear of each satellite speaker, one red positive (+) and the
other black negative (-). The positive terminal of you speaker should be connected to the
positive lead of your amplifier / receiver and negative terminal to the negative lead (as
shown below). If you are going to use these speakers as main (front speakers) speakers
on a 5.1 or 7.1 receiver, make sure they are connect to the front speaker leads (FT or
front L/R) as labeled on your receiver.
