Manual Information
Prior to using the device, it is essential to thoroughly read this manual. Inside, you will find
crucial details regarding the device's intended purpose. Pay particular attention to the
safety instructions. Keep this manual for future reference. If you pass the device on to
others, ensure the accompanying operating manual is also provided.
Product Overview
The Thermostat Radiator Valve TV01 intelligently regulates heat flow to radiators by
moving a valve. This device allows effortless adjustment of room temperature within the
range of 5 - 30 °C, resulting in energy savings of over 15%. Compatible with the Tuya
smart home system, it operates on the ZigBee 3.0 protocol. Through the Tuya smartphone
app, all system devices can be easily and individually configured. This radiator thermostat
facilitates individual temperature control for each room. It effortlessly fits common radiator
valves and can be mounted without any need for water drainage or intervention in the
heating system. Additionally, the boost function swiftly heats the radiator for a brief period
by opening the valve for 5 minutes, ensuring immediate, comfortable room temperature
due to the emitted heat.

Startup Instructions
1. Preliminary Steps
•TV01 requires 2 × AA batteries for operation. Please ensure you have these prepared.
•A smart gateway hub is essential for TV01 functionality.
•Temperature readings are displayed in degrees Celsius.
2. Battery Installation/Replacement
•Remove the battery compartment cover located underneath the device.
•Insert 2 new LR6 (mignon/AA) batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
•Reattach the battery compartment cover, securing it in place. A battery symbol
on the display indicates low battery; replace them promptly. Wait approximately 1
minute after removing old batteries before inserting new ones.
•Note: This device does not support rechargeable batteries.

3. Setting Date and Time
If batteries are inserted or replaced, the device prompts for date and time after displaying
the firmware version number.
•Use the +/- button to set the year, month, day, hour, and minute. Confirm settings with
the Menu button. Press Boost to return to the previous menu during date and time
setup.
•'InS' with a rotating indicates the motor's return travel.
•When 'AdA' appears, the radiator thermostat can be installed on the valve. After
installation, press Boost to initiate adaptive mode.
•'AdA' with a rotating signifies an adaptive run to adjust the thermostat to the valve.
•If adaptive run starts before installation, press Boost to return the motor to the 'InS'
position. In case of error

Installing the Radiator Thermostat
Installing the radiator thermostat is a straightforward process that requires no drainage of
heating water or intervention in the heating system. No specialized tools are needed, and
there is no need to turn off the heating. The ring nut attached to the radiator thermostat is
universally compatible and can be used without additional accessories on valves with a
thread size of M30 × 1,5 from popular manufacturers like:

Additionally, the package includes adapters that allow installation on radiator valves of the
Danfoss RA, Danfoss RAV, and Danfoss RAVL types.
1 Removing Your Current Radiator Thermostat
Rest assured, there's no need to worry about water leakage during this step. Simply
unscrew your existing radiator thermostat.

2 Installing with M30 × 1,5 Connector
• If your radiator's connector type is M30 ×1,5 (as shown in the picture below), screw the
TV01 smart radiator thermostat directly onto the radiator. Adjust the angle to ensure the
screen is properly oriented towards the viewer.
• Rotate the thermostat dial to the maximum value; this value might be 6 or 8.
• Verify that the [specific feature] is active.
• Complete the installation of the device.

3 Danfoss RAVL Valve Installation
• Confirm that the © is active.
• The valve bodies have elongated notches around their circumference. These notches
ensure the adapter is correctly seated when it snaps on. Fully snap on the adapter so that
the pins inside the adapter align with the notches on the valve.
• Install the adapter ensuring Plane A aligns with Plane B.
• Insert the round tube into the device.
• Complete the installation of the device.

4 Danfoss RAV Valve Installation
• Rotate the thermostat dial to the maximum value; the maximum value may be 6 or 8.
• Confirm that the © is active.
• The valve bodies have elongated notches around their circumference, ensuring the
adapter is properly seated when it snaps on. Fully snap on the adapter so that the pins
inside align with the notches on the valve.
• Install the adapter ensuring Plane A aligns with Plane B.
• Secure the union nut.
• Complete the installation of the device.

5 Danfoss RA Valve Installation
• Rotate the thermostat dial to the maximum value, aligning it with "N."
• Confirm that the © is active.
• The valve bodies have elongated notches around their circumference, ensuring proper
seating of the adapter. Fully snap on the adapter so that the pins inside align with the
notches on the valve.
• Install the adapter, ensuring Plane A aligns with Plane B.
• Secure the union nut in place.
• Insert the round tube into the device.
• Complete the installation of the device.

6 M28 × 1,5 mm Installation
1. Choose the appropriate length of the ejector rod based on the specific valve size.
Ejector rod sizes available are 15 mm, 17 mm, 19 mm, and 24 mm.
2. Insert the ejector rod with the correct size into the designated hole.
3. Install the adapter onto the M28 ×1,5 valve.

7 Giacomini Valve Installation
1. Properly install the adapter onto the Giacomini valve, ensuring correct alignment and
direction.
2. Insert the GIA ejector rod securely into the designated hole.
8 Caleffi Valve Installation
1. Open the valve flow to its maximum position, as demonstrated in picture 1.
2. Install the adapter onto the Caleffi valve, ensuring it is oriented in the correct direction.

9 Using the Ejector Rod
Due to variations in metal valve dimensions and assembly tolerances, the following
situations may occur:
1. Device Failure (F2 Display): If the device displays error code F2.
2. Metal Valve Cannot Fully Close, Continuous Heating: If the metal valve
remains partially open and continues heating.
Troubleshooting Method:
1. Initially, Use Ejector Rod 1,6 mm (1): Attempt to resolve the issues by using
the 1,6 mm ejector rod.
2. If Problems Persist, Try Ejector Rod 2,6 mm (2): If the above situations
persist, switch to the 2,6 mm ejector rod as an alternative solution.
Interface Display
Once the LCD screen displays the information as described below, the radiator thermostat
is prepared for configuration. If this information is not displayed, kindly uninstall, and
reinstall the batteries, then repeat step „Startup Instructions“.

Getting Ready for Use
Downloading the MOES App
The MOES App offers enhanced compatibility compared to the
Tuya Smart/Smart Life App. It functions seamlessly with Siri for
scene control, provides widgets, and offers scene
recommendations as part of its brand-new, customized service.
(Please note: While the Tuya Smart/Smart Life App still works, we
highly recommend using the MOES App.)
• Open the MOES App and register or log in using your phone number or email address.
Tap the "+" icon located at the top right corner, select "Gateway Control -> Wireless
Gateway (ZigBee)," and follow the built-in setup wizard for effortless device installation
and configuration.
• Once the ZigBee smart gateway hub is successfully added, proceed to add sub-devices
through the gateway hub interface.
• Press and hold the Pair button on the radiator thermostat for 5 seconds until the ZigBee
signal icon flashes, indicating the device is in pairing mode.
• During pairing mode, the blue LED indicator on the gateway hub will flash.
• Upon successful addition of the radiator thermostat, the blue LED indicator will
extinguish within 1 second, and the device's ZigBee signal will remain active.
Features
1 Automatic Mode
In automatic mode, the temperature is regulated based on the preset heating profile.
Manual adjustments remain active until the next scheduled profile change, after which the
defined heating profile is reinstated. To activate auto mode, follow these steps:
•Press the mode button to select the home icon.
•Default temperature settings: 17 °C and 21 °C.
•Temperature range: 5 –30 °C, adjustable in 0,5 °C increments.
For App Operation:
Click the auto mode icon in the App control panel to activate auto mode.

2 Manual Mode
In manual mode, the temperature is controlled based on the current temperature set using
the ‘+/-’buttons. This manually set temperature remains active until the next manual
adjustment.
To activate manual mode, follow these steps:
•Press the mode button to select the icon.
•Default temperature setting: 20 °C.
•Temperature range: 5 - 30°C, adjustable in 0,5 °C increments.
For App Operation:
Click the manual mode icon in the App control panel to activate manual mode.
3 Holiday Mode
Activate the holiday mode when you're heading out or attending a party. This mode will
initiate at the specified time and maintain the holiday temperature settings. If you wish to
check the holiday mode settings when it's not active, press the Mode button. The holiday
mode icon will flash for 5 seconds, then revert to auto mode automatically. To end the
holiday mode before the set time, press the Mode button again.
For app operation, click the Mode icon on the control panel to switch to holiday mode. To
deactivate, switch to any other mode within the app.
4 Open Window Detection
The device is equipped with an open window detection feature that halts heating
automatically when it detects a rapid temperature decrease (default setting: 5 °C in 5
minutes). Typically, this occurs when a window or door is opened, and the open window
icon appears on the screen. If no action is taken, the device will revert to its previous
state after detection. Alternatively, you can manually resume the device by pressing the
mode button.
For app users, simply click the open window icon in the app control panel to deactivate the
window opening function. Please note that open window detection operates only in
automatic and manual modes.

5 Offset Temperature Adjustment
Due to variations in temperature distribution within a room, the reading on the radiator
thermostat may differ. To account for this, you can set a temperature offset of up to +5
°C. For instance, if you set a nominal temperature of 20 °C but the room temperature
measures only 18 °C, you can adjust it with an offset of -2,0 °C. The default offset
temperature is 0,0 °C. To make these adjustments, follow these steps:
Hold the menu button for 5 seconds to access the settings interface.
Use the ‘+/-’button to select the “Offset”option and press the menu button to
enter the offset temperature interface.
Adjust the offset temperature using the ‘+/-’button and confirm your selection with
the menu button.
For app users, simply click the offset icon in the app settings screen to make these
adjustments.
6 Comfort and Eco Temperature Settings
Switching between Comfort and Eco temperatures is effortless and intuitive with the
dedicated buttons. These temperatures are pre-set at the factory to 21,0 °C (Comfort) and
17,0 °C (Eco) but can be adjusted to your preference:
Press the menu button to choose Comfort or Eco temperature.
For app users, simply click the Comfort/Eco temperature icon in the app control panel to
switch between these modes. Even in auto mode, you can modify the temperature at any
time using the button. The adjusted temperature will remain in effect until the next
program change.
7 Child Lock Feature
To prevent unintended changes to the device settings, a child lock option is available. This
feature safeguards against accidental adjustments due to inadvertent touches. Here's how
to activate or deactivate the child lock:
To activate: Hold the mode button for 5 seconds. The LOC symbol will appear on
the screen, and device buttons will be disabled.
To deactivate: Hold the mode button for 5 seconds again to unlock the child lock.
For app users, simply click the child lock icon in the app settings screen to enable or
disable this feature.

8 Anti-Freezing Mode
Device Operation:
Manual Mode: If the temperature is manually set below 5 degrees, the screen will
show "AF," activating the anti-freezing function to maintain an indoor temperature
of 8 degrees.
To Cancel: Simply press any button to deactivate the anti-freezing function and
return to automatic mode.
App Operation:
In the App Settings: Click the anti-freezing icon to toggle the function on or
off.
Note: Once activated, this function restricts access to other features until it is
deactivated.
9 Heating Stop (Power Saving) Mode
To conserve battery life, you can switch off the heating by fully closing the valve. Here's
how to activate the Heating Stop mode:
Device Operation:
Manual Mode: Adjust the temperature manually to over 30 degrees. The screen
will display "HS," indicating the activation of the heating stop function. The device
won't adjust the temperature further.
To Cancel: Press any button to deactivate the heating stop function and revert to
automatic mode.
App Operation:
In the App Settings: Click the Heating Stop icon to enable or disable the
function.
Note: Once activated, this function limits access to other features until it is turned off.
10 Anti-Calcification (Descaling) Protection
The equipment will automatically run periodically every week to prevent valve
calcification.

11 Boost Mode
Boost mode allows for rapid heating, ideal for returning home early.
Here's how to use it:
Press the boost button to activate the function.
A countdown from 299 to 000 seconds will display, indicating the remaining boost
time.
After 5 minutes, the actuator returns to the previously active mode (auto/manual)
with the earlier set temperature.
You can deactivate the function at any time by pressing the boost button again.
App Operation:
In the App Control Panel: Click the Boost icon to cancel the boost function.
For Device Settings: Hold the menu button for 5 seconds, enter Setting/Date
Week programming stage/Open window/Comfortable temp/ECO temp/Offset/
Holiday setting.
In the App Control Panel for Settings: Click the Settings icon .
Settings
1 Date and Time Configuration
To set the date and time, follow these steps:
Hold the menu button for 5 seconds to access the setting interface.
Use the ‘+/-’button to select “Date/Time”and confirm with the menu button.
Choose the desired year/month/day/hour/minute using the “+/-”button.
Confirm your selection with the menu button; the time will flash three times.
Use the boost button to go back.
Note: When the device is paired with a phone, the device time synchronizes with the
phone time.

2 Week Programming
In this menu, create a heating profile with up to ten temperature stages per day,
personalized to your needs. Here's how:
Hold the menu button for 5 seconds to open the configuration menu.
Select “Prg”using the ‘+/-’button and confirm with the menu button.
In the “Day”menu, choose specific days, weekdays, weekends, or the entire week
for your profile. Confirm the start time (00:00 am/pm) with the menu button.
Select the desired temperature and start time using the ‘+/-’button and confirm
with the menu button.
The next time period will appear; adjust the time with the ‘+/-’button.
Set the temperature for the next period and confirm; temperature range: 5 - 30 °C
in 0,5 °C steps.
Repeat until temperatures are stored for the entire 24-hour period. Confirm by
flashing the time three times.
Use the boost button to return.
For App Users: Click the Week Programming Stage icon in the App control panel.
3 Open Window Detection
Hold the menu button for 5 seconds to access the configuration menu.
Select “Open Window”using the ‘+/-’button and confirm with the menu
button.
Choose the desired temperature using the ‘+/-’button and confirm; temperature
range: 5 –30 °C in 0,5 °C steps.
Confirm by flashing the time three times.
Use the boost button to return.
For App Users: Click the Open Window icon in the App settings screen.
