Before Installation
1. Prior to installation, ensure the plug type of the product aligns with your local
standard and heating equipment.

attempting any repairs on your own.

Thermostat Operation Guide
1. Power: Use the power button to turn the thermostat on or off.
2. Cooling/Heating Mode: This thermostat offers cooling or heating modes, switchable
via the app or the "Advanced Options Settings."
3. Operating Modes: Toggle between Manual, Programming, Temporary Manual, and
Holiday modes by pressing on the app or the thermostat control panel. Each
mode is indicated by specific icons on the screen.
•Manual Mode (Hand Icon): Set the temperature manually, and the thermostat
maintains it.
•Programming Mode (Clock Icon):Follows the weekly schedule set in the app.
Refer to point 7 for schedule setup.
•Temporary Manual Mode: Allows manual temperature adjustment within the
programming mode. The thermostat reverts to the programmed settings after
the next cycle.
•Holiday Mode (Clock and Hand Icons): Maintains a fixed temperature until the
end of the holiday period. Set the duration in the app or by long pressing to
access the clock settings.
4. Temperature Setting: Adjust the target temperature using the up and down icons.
5. Time Setting: The Wi-Fi version syncs time automatically when connected. For
manual adjustment, long-press , then use the up and down icons to set minutes,
hours, and days of the week (1 for Monday, 2 for Tuesday, and so on). Press power
button to exit.
6. Child Lock: Activate child lock by holding the up and down icons for 5 seconds. Full
and half lock options are available in advanced settings.
7. 5+1+1 Programming Mode Setting: Set this mode in the app for Wi-Fi versions. For
non-Wi-Fi models, long-press to access clock settings, press four times to enter
programming mode. Configure the cycle (1 ), then set the hour, temperature, and
cycle using the up and down icons. Save the settings by turning off the thermostat.

8. External Sensor Data Retrieval: Press and hold the down button for 5 seconds
to access external sensor data. The screen will show the sensor temperature. If
no external sensor is connected, it will display "err."
Advanced Options
While the thermostat is powered off, hold down the button for 5 seconds to access
advanced options. Use to choose a function and the up/down buttons to adjust the
corresponding code. All changes made in advanced options will be applied upon
restarting the thermostat.

Wi-Fi Connection
Prior to initial use, configure your Wi-Fi thermostat by setting up the Wi-Fi signal and
preferences using your smartphone or tablet. This setup enables seamless
communication between your connected devices.
1. Downloading the App
Search for "Smartlife" on the Apple Store or Google Play, or scan the provided QR code
(Figure 1-2) using your browser. Follow the app's instructions to complete your account
registration and installation process.
2. Connect to the thermostat
Refer to the tutorial below to finalize the connection and setup. Option 1: Utilize the
network guide by scanning the QR code (Fig 2.1-Fig 2.3).

Network Setup Mode:
1. EZ Mode:
•Turn off the thermostat.
•Press and hold the down button until the
screen flashes rapidly and shows the wi-
fi icon.
•Follow the steps outlined in the figures
below (Refer to Fig 2.4-Fig 2.7).

2. AP Mode:
Turn off the thermostat. Press and hold the down icon until the thermostat's Wi-Fi icon
starts flashing slowly. (If the Wi-Fi icon flashes quickly, continue holding down the button
until the Wi-Fi flashes slowly.) Then, refer to the diagrams below (Figures 2.8 - 2.14) for
further instructions.

Troubleshooting Guide
1. Issue: Power is on, but there's no display.
Solution: Verify if the connection between the LCD panel and Power Unit Box is secure.
Check for any loose terminals.
2. Issue: Display is working, but there's no output.
Solution: Consider replacing either the LCD panel or the Power Unit Box with new
components.
3. Issue: Room temperature reading slightly deviates from the actual temperature.
Solution: Perform a temperature calibration using the first option in the advanced
settings menu.
