Diese Anleitung richtet sich an den Installa-

teur der Überwachungsanlage. Bitte lesen Sie

die Anleitung vor der Installation gründlich

durch und heben Sie sie für ein späteres

Nachlesen auf.

1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten

Diese Kamera ist durch ihr Gehäuse, das gewöhn-

lich für Rauchmelder verwendet wird, speziell für

den unauffälligen Einsatz in Video-Überwachungs-

anlagen (CCTV) konzipiert. Sie ist mit einem

8,5-mm-Bildsensor (1⁄3") und einem 3,6-mm-Ob-

jektiv ausgestattet. Zusätzlich verfügt die Kamera

über eine Verstärkungsregelung (AGC), einen

automatischen Weißabgleich und einen automati-

schen elektronischen Verschluss (Shutter).

2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch

Die Kamera entspricht allen relevanten Richtlinien

der EU und deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

GDie Kamera ist nur zur Verwendung im Innenbe-

reich geeignet. Schützen Sie sie vor Feuchtig-

keit und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbe-

reich 0 – 40 °C).

GBerühren Sie die Objektivlinse nicht mit den Fin-

gern und verwenden Sie zum Säubern der Linse

nur Mittel speziell für optische Linsen.

GVerwenden Sie zum Reinigen des Gehäuses

nur ein trockenes, weiches Tuch, niemals Was-

ser oder Chemikalien.

GWird die Kamera zweckentfremdet, falsch instal-

liert oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann keine

Haftung für daraus resultierende Sach- oder

Personenschäden und keine Garantie für die

Kamera übernommen werden.

3 Inbetriebnahme

1) Die BNC-Kupplung (1) über ein 75-Ω-Koaxial-

kabel mit dem Videoeingang eines Monitors

verbinden. Dabei auf den korrekten 75-Ω-

Abschluss am Monitor bzw. bei einer Serien-

schaltung am letzten Monitor achten. Bei einer

Kabellänge von mehr als 100 m sollte kein

Koaxialkabel verwendet werden, sondern ein

2-Draht-Übertragungsset (z. B. VB-110VP von

MONACOR).

2) Die Kleinspannungskupplung (2) an eine stabili-

sierte Spannungsversorgung anschließen (12 V

±10 % /100 mA). Dazu wird ein koaxialer Klein-

spannungsstecker mit 5,5 mm Außendurchmes-

ser und 2,1 mm Innendurchmesser benötigt

(Polung beachten: Mittelkontakt = +).

3) Den Monitor einschalten und durch Ausrichten

der Kamera auf den Überwachungsbereich die

optimale Montagestelle fur sie feststellen. Zur ver-

tikalen Ausrichtung das Kameramodul in seiner

Halterung neigen (Pfeil in Abb. 2). Das Gehäuse-

unterteil (3) lässt sich zur horizontalen Ausrich-

tung auch nach der Montage noch drehen.

Soll die Kamera endgültig aus dem

Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben

Sie sie zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung

einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.

4) Bei unscharfer Darstellung die Abbildung durch

Drehen des Objektivs (4) scharf stellen.

5) Die Kamera an der Decke festschrauben.

Colour Camera in a

Smoke Detector Housing

These instructions are intended for the installer

of the surveillance system. Please read the

operating instructions carefully prior to the

installation and keep them for later reference.

1 Applications

Due to its housing which is usually used for smoke

detectors, this camera is especially designed for

the inconspicuous use in video surveillance sys-

tems (CCTV). It is equipped with an 8.5 mm (1⁄3")

image sensor and a 3.6 mm lens. In addition the

camera has an automatic gain control (AGC), an

automatic white balance, and an automatic elec-

tronic shutter.

2 Important Notes

The camera corresponds to all relevant directives

of the EU and is therefore marked with .

GThe camera is only suitable for indoor use. Pro-

tect it against humidity, and heat (admissible

ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

GDo not touch the lens with your fingers and only

use specific cleaning agents for optical lenses

for cleaning.

GFor cleaning of the housing only use a dry, soft

cloth, never use chemicals or water.

GNo guarantee claims for the camera and no lia-

bility for any resulting personal damage or mate-

rial damage will be accepted if the camera is

used for other purposes than originally intended,

if it is not correctly installed, or not repaired in an

expert way.

3 Operation

1) Connect the BNC inline jack (1) via a 75 Ω coax-

ial cable to the video input of a monitor. Observe

the correct 75 Ω termination at the monitor or

in case of series connection at the last moni-

tor. With a cable length of more than 100 m,

a 2-wire transmission set (e. g. VB-110VP from

MONACOR) should be used instead of a coax-

ial cable.

2) Connect the low voltage inline jack (2) to a reg-

ulated voltage supply (12V±10 % /100 mA).

For this purpose a coaxial low voltage plug with

5.5 mm outside diameter and 2.1 mm inside

diameter is required (observe the polarity: cen-

tre contact = +).

3) Switch on the monitor and by aligning the cam-

era to the surveillance zone define the optimum

place of mounting for it. For vertical aligning

incline the camera module in its support (arrow

in fig. 2). The lower part of the housing (3) can

still be turned for horizontal alignment even after

mounting.

4) If the reproduction is not clear, turn the lens (4)

to bring the picture in focus.

5) Tightly screw the camera to the ceiling.

If the camera is to be put out of operation

definitively, take it to a local recycling

plant for a disposal which is not harmful to

the environment.

Caméra couleur dans un

boîtier de détecteur de fumée

Cette notice sʼadresse à lʼinstallateur dʼinstal-

lation de surveillance. Veuillez lire la présente

notice avec attention avant lʼinstallation et

conservez-la pour pouvoir vous y reporter

ultérieurement.

1 Possibilités dʼutilisation

Grâce à son boîtier qui est habituellement utilisé

pour des détecteurs de fumée, cette caméra est

spécialement conçue pour une utilisation discrète

dans des installations de vidéo surveillance (CCTV).

Elle est équipée dʼun capteur dʼimage de 8,5 mm

(1⁄3") et dʼun objectif de 3,6 mm. En plus, elle dispose

dʼun réglage dʼamplification automatique (AGC),

dʼune compensation automatique du blanc et dʼune

obturation électronique automatique (shutter).

2 Conseils importants dʼutilisation

La caméra répond à toutes les directives néces-

saires de lʼUnion européenne et porte donc le sym-

bole .

GLa caméra nʼest conçue que pour une utilisation

en intérieur. Protégez-la de lʼhumidité et de la

chaleur (plage de température de fonctionne-

ment autorisée : 0 – 40 °C).

GNe touchez jamais la lentille de lʼobjectif avec les

doigts, pour le nettoyage, utilisez toujours des

produits spécifiquement conçus pour les lentilles

optiques.

GPour nettoyer le boîtier, utilisez uniquement un

chiffon sec et doux, jamais de produits chi-

miques ou dʼeau.

GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de

dommages corporels ou matériels résultants si

la caméra est utilisée dans un but autre que celui

pour lequel elle a été conçue, si elle nʼest pas

correctement installée ou nʼest pas réparée par

une personne habilitée, de même, la garantie

deviendrait caduque.

3 Fonctionnement

1) Reliez la fiche BNC (1) via un câble coaxial de

75 Ω à lʼentrée vidéo dʼun moniteur. Veillez à la

terminaison correcte de 75 Ω au moniteur ou en

cas de branchement en série au dernier moni-

teur. Pour une longueur de câble supérieure à

100 m, il ne faut pas utiliser de câble coaxial

mais plutôt un set de transmission 2 conduc-

teurs (p. ex. VB-110VP de MONACOR).

2) Branchez la fiche de basse tension (2) à une

alimentation stabilisée (12 V±10 % /100 mA).

Pour cela, une fiche coaxial de basse tension à

diamètre extérieur de 5,5 mm et diamètre inté-

rieur de 2,1 mm est nécessaire (respectez la

polarité : contact central = +).

3) Allumez le moniteur et déterminez le meilleur

lieu de montage en orientant la caméra sur la

zone de surveillance. Pour lʼorientation verti-

cale, inclinez le module de caméra dans son

support (voir la flèche dans fig. 2). Pour lʼorien-

tation horizontale, la partie inférieure (3) peut

encore être tournée après le montage.

Lorsque la caméra est définitivement reti-

rée du service, vous devez la déposer dans

une usine de recyclage de proximité pour

contribuer à son élimination non polluante.

4) Si lʼaffichage dʼimage nʼest pas précis, tournez

lʼobjectif (4) jusquʼà ce que lʼimage soit nette.

5) Vissez la caméra au plafond.

Queste istruzioni sono rivolte allʼinstallatore

dellʼimpianto di sorveglianza. Vi preghiamo di

leggere attentamente le presenti istruzioni

prima dellʼinstallazione e di conservarle per

un uso futuro.

1 Possibilità dʼimpiego

Grazie al suo contenitore che solitamente è usato

per rivelatori di fumo, questa telecamera è stata

realizzata specialmente per lʼimpiego non vistoso

di impianti di sorveglianza video (CCTV). È equi-

paggiata con un sensore ottico di 8,5 mm (1⁄3") e

con un obiettivo di 3,6 mm. In più dispone di rego-

lazione del guadagno (AGC), di compensazione

automatica del bianco e di un otturatore elettronico

automatico (shutter).

2 Avvertenze importanti per lʼuso

La telecamera è conforme a tutte le direttive rile-

vanti dellʼUE e pertanto porta la sigla .

GLa telecamera è adatta solo allʼuso allʼinterno.

Proteggerla dallʼumidità e dal calore (tempera-

tura dʼimpiego ammessa fra 0 e 40 °C).

GNon toccare con le dita la lente dellʼobiettivo, e

per pulire la lente usare solo mezzi speciali per

lenti ottiche.

GPer la pulizia del contenitore usare solo un

panno morbido, asciutto; non impiegare in nes-

sun caso prodotti chimici o acqua.

GNel caso dʼuso improprio, dʼinstallazione sba-

gliata o di riparazione non a regola dʼarte della

telecamera, non si assume nessuna responsa-

bilità per eventuali danni consequenziali a per-

sone o a cose e non si assume nessuna garan-

zia per la telecamera.

3 Messa in funzione

1) Collegare la presa BNC (1) con lʼingresso video

di un monitor servendosi di un cavo coassiale

di 75 Ω. Fare attenzione alla corretta termina-

zione 75 Ω sul monitor, oppure, in caso di colle-

gamento in serie sullʼultimo monitor. In caso

di lunghezza del cavo di oltre 100 m, non si

dovrebbe usare un cavo coassiale, bensì un set

di trasmissione a 2 conduttori (p. es. VB-110VP

di MONACOR).

2) Collegare la presa DC (2) con unʼalimentazione

stabilizzata (12 V±10 % /100 mA). È richiesto

uno spinotto DC coassiale con diametro esterno

di 5,5 mm e con diametro interno di 2,1 mm (ri-

spettare la corretta polarità: contatto centrale = +).

3) Accendere il monitor e orientando la telecamera

sulla zona da sorvegliare, stabilire il punto otti-

male per il montaggio. Per lʼorientamento verti-

cale inclinare il modulo nel suo supporto (freccia

in fig. 2). La parte inferiore del contenitore (3)

può essere girata per lʼorientamento orizzontale

anche dopo il montaggio.

4) Se lʼimmagine non è a fuoco, metterla a fuoco

girando lʼobiettivo (4).

5) Avvitare la telecamera al soffitto.

Se si desidera eliminare la telecamera

definitivamente, consegnarla per lo smal-

timento ad unʼistituzione locale per il rici-

claggio.
