SAFETY WARNINGS AND GUIDELINES
Please read this entire manual before using this device, paying
extra attention to these safety warnings and guidelines. Please
keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
This device is intended for indoor use only.
Do not expose this device to water or moisture of any kind.
Do not place drinks or other containers with moisture on or
near the device. If moisture does get in or on the device,
immediately unplug it from the power outlet and allow it
to fully dry before reapplying power.
Do not touch the device, the power cord, or any other
connected cables with wet hands.
This device ventilates excessive heat through the slots and
openings in the case. Do not block or cover these openings.
Ensure that the device is in an open area where it can get
sufficient airflow to keep from overheating.
Do not expose this device to excessively high
temperatures. Do not place it in, on, or near heat sources,
such as a fireplace, stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in
direct sunlight.
Do not place or install this device in an area where it can
be exposed to excessive amounts of dust, humidity, oil,
smoke, or combustible vapors.

Use only in a well-ventilated area. Do not use in close,
confined spaces.
Prior to operation, check the unit for physical damage. Do
not use if physical damage has occurred.
Before plugging the unit into a power outlet, ensure that
the outlet provides the same type and level of power
required by the device.
Unplug this device from the power source when not in use.
Take care to prevent damage to the power cord. Do not
allow it to become crimped, pinched, walked on, or
become tangled with other cords. Ensure that the power
cord does not present a tripping hazard.
Never unplug the unit by pulling on the power cord.
Always grasp the connector head or adapter body.
Ensure that power is turned off and disconnected before
making any electrical connections.
Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical
cleaners, solvents, or detergents. For stubborn deposits,
moisten the cloth with warm water.
This device has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt
to open, service, or modify this device.

INSTALLATION
You can place the amplifier on a horizontal surface or mount it on
a vertical surface. Perform the following steps to mount the
amplifier to a wall. Note that it can be mounted in a horizontal or
vertical orientation.
1. Determine the mounting location and orientation. For best
results, use a carpenter's level to ensure it is level.
2. Using a pencil, mark the drill locations inside the four
mounting holes.
3. Drill pilot holes at the marked locations.
4. Use screws (not included) to secure the amplifier to the
surface. If mounting to a drywall surface, insert wall
anchors (not included) into the pilot holes first.

PHYSICAL CONNECTIONS
Perform the following steps to make the physical connections
needed to use this amplifier.
1. Ensure that all equipment to be connected is powered off
and unplugged from its power source.
2. Using a 2-conductor speaker wire, connect the positive and
negative leads to the right channel speaker, then connect
the other end to the right channel Speaker Output terminals
on the amplifier. Ensure that the proper polarity is
maintained.
3. Repeat step 2 for the left channel.
4. (Optional) If you want to use a line input, plug one end of a
stereo audio cable (not included) into the 3.5mm Line Input
jack on the amplifier, then plug the other end into the line
output of your audio source device. If connecting the
headphone jack of a mobile device, use a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm
TRS audio cable (P/N 9764). If connecting to a device with
RCA outputs, use a 3.5mm-to-Dual-RCA audio cable (P/N
18269).
Note: The line-in and Bluetooth® connections are summed at the
output, which means that both sources will be audible at the
same time.
5. Connect an AC power cord (not included) into the Power
Input connector on the amplifier, then plug the other end

into a nearby AC power outlet. If you are using a line input
connection, the LED Indicator will flash red.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION
Perform the following steps to connect your mobile device using
a Bluetooth® connection.
1. Plug the amplifier into an AC power source. The amp is
always in Bluetooth pairing mode whenever it is powered
on and it is not already paired with another device.
2. Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and
scan for nearby Bluetooth devices.
3. Locate and select the DABA entry. If prompted for a
passcode, enter 0000 (four zeros).
Notes:
The line-in and Bluetooth® connections are summed at the
output, which means that both sources will be audible at
the same time.
To pair with a different device, turn off Bluetooth on the
connected device, then connect the new device.
