•This device is intended for indoor use
only.
•Do not expose this device to water or
moisture of any kind. Do not place drinks
or other containers with moisture on or
near the device. If moisture does get in or
on the device, immediately turn it off and
allow it to fully dry before powering it on
again.
•Do not expose this device to excessive
vibration.

•Do not touch the device, the power cord,
or any other connected cables with wet
hands.
•Do not expose this device to excessively
high temperatures. Do not place it in, on,
or near a heat source, such as a fireplace,
stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in
direct sunlight.
•Do not place or install this device in an
area where it can be exposed to excessive
amounts of dust, humidity, oil, smoke, or
combustible vapors.
•This device contains a Lithium-polymer
battery. Dispose of this device only in
accordance with local, state, or federal
regulations for electronic waste.
•Charge the battery before first use and at
least once every three months. A full
charge will take about 2 hours.

•Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not
use chemical cleaners, solvents, or
detergents. For stubborn deposits,
moisten the cloth with warm water.
•This device has no user serviceable parts.
Do not attempt to open, service, or
modify this device.

CHARGING
Charge the battery before first use and at least
once every three months. A full charge takes
about 2 hours.
1. When the battery level is low, the LED will
flash red.

2. Plug the included micro USB cable into
the USB port, then plug the other end into
a USB power source (not included). The
LED will illuminate solid red, regardless of
other indications.
3. When charging is complete, the LED will
turn off.
4. Unplug the micro USB cable from the
device. The LED will resume normal
indications.
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
1. TX/RX: When placed in the TX position,
the device operates as a Bluetooth®
transmitter. When placed in the RX

position, the device operates as a
Bluetooth® receiver.
2. SPDIF/AUX: When placed in the SPDIF
position, the device uses the S/PDIF
digital optical input/output. When placed
in the AUX position, the device uses the
3.5mm input/output.
3. AUX: 3.5mm jack for analog audio
input/output.
4. SPDIF IN TX: S/PDIF digital optical input
for use with the device as a transmitter.
5. SPDIF OUT RX: S/PDIF digital optical
output for use with the device as a
receiver.
6. USB: Micro USB charging port for
connecting the included micro USB cable
to a USB power source (not included).
7. Multi Function Button (MFB): Press and
hold the MFB for 3 seconds to turn the
device on or off. Momentarily press the

MFB to pause or play the connected
device.
8. LED: The LED indicator shows the power
and Bluetooth® pairing status of the
device.
BLUETOOTH® PAIRING
TX Mode
1. Ensure the device is powered off and the
TX/RX switch is in the TX position.
2. Press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds to
power the device on, then quickly double

press the button to enter pairing mode.
The LED will flash blue rapidly.
3. Put your Bluetooth® audio device (e.g.,
headphones, speaker, etc.) into pairing
mode. Once pairing is complete, the LED
will flash blue slowly.
4. Using the included 3.5mm audio cable,
plug one end into the AUX jack, then plug
the other end into the audio output of
your mobile device. Alternatively, use the
included S/PDIF digital optical cable, plug
one end into the SPDIF IN TX port, then
plug the other end into the S/PDIF digital
optical output of your audio source
device.

RX Mode
1. Ensure the device is powered off and the
TX/RX switch is in the RX position.
2. Press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds to
power the device on, then quickly double
press the button to enter pairing mode.
The LED will flash red and blue rapidly.
3. Open your mobile device's Bluetooth®
settings. Locate and select the MP38070
entry. Once pairing is complete, the LED
will illuminate solid blue.
4. Plug your audio device (speakers,
headphones, etc.) into the AUX jack. Use
the included 3.5mm audio cable, if

necessary. Alternatively, plug the included
S/PDIF digital optical cable into the SPDIF
OUT RX port, then plug the other end into
the S/PDIF digital optical input on your
amplifier or receiver.
Multi-Device Pairing
1. Pair your first device as normal.
2. Double press the MFB to re-enter pairing
mode.
3. Pair the second device as normal. When
pairing is complete, the LED will illuminate
solid green.
