•This device is intended for indoor use only.
•Do not expose this device to water or moisture of any kind. Do not place drinks or
other containers with moisture on or near the device. If moisture does get in or on
the device, immediately remove it from its power source and allow it to fully dry
before reapplying power.
•Do not touch the device, the power cord, or any other connected cables with wet
hands.
•Do not expose this device to excessive vibration, extreme force, shock, or
fluctuations in temperature or humidity.
•Do not expose this device to excessively high temperatures. Do not place it in, on,
or near a heat source, such as a fireplace, stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in
direct sunlight.
•Do not place or install this device in an area where it can be exposed to excessive
amounts of dust, humidity, oil, smoke, or combustible vapors.
•This device contains a Lithium battery. Dispose of this device only in accordance
with local, state, or federal regulations for electronic waste.
•Charge the battery before first use and at least once every month to keep it fresh
and capable of holding the full charge.
•Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners, solvents, or
detergents. For stubborn deposits, moisten the cloth with warm water.
•This device has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service, or
modify this device.

AUDIO CONNECTION
Using the included 3.5mm Audio Cable, plug one end into the input on your speaker or
amplifier, then plug the other end into the 3.5mm Audio Jack on the receiver.
Note that if your speaker or amplifier has RCA inputs, use a 3.5mm to RCA audio cable
(available separately, P/Ns 5597, 9786, 38081, etc.).
BASIC OPERATION
Power On
With the receiver powered off, press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds. The LED will flash
blue 5 times, indicating that the receiver is powered on and ready to reconnect with a
previously paired device.
If no device was previously paired or if the paired device is powered off or out of range,
the receiver will automatically enter Bluetooth® pairing mode. The LED will flash red and
blue alternately, indicating that it is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
Power Off
With the receiver powered on, press and hold the MFB for 5 seconds. The LED will flash red
for about 1 second and the receiver will power off.
Reconnecting a Device
When the receiver is powered on, it will attempt to connect to a previously paired device.
If a device is reconnected, the LED will change to flashing blue once every 6 seconds.

Bluetooth Pairing Mode
If the receiver is powered on and not connected to a Bluetooth® device, double press the
MFB to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The LED will flash red and blue alternately, indicating
that it is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
If the receiver is powered off, press and hold the MFB for 5 seconds. The receiver will
power on and the LED will flash red and blue alternately, indicating that it is in Bluetooth
pairing mode.
If a device is not paired to the receiver within 10 seconds, the receiver will exit Bluetooth
pairing mode.
Play/Pause
With audio playing, momentarily press the MFB to pause audio playback.
With audio not playing, momentarily press the MFB to resume audio playback.
Clear Bluetooth Pairings
With the receiver in Bluetooth® pairing mode, double press the MFB to clear all pairing
records. The LED will flash red and blue twice, indicating that the pairing records have been
deleted.
Answer Incoming Phone Call
When an incoming call is received, momentarily press the MFB to answer the call.
End Phone Call
With a call in progress, momentarily press the MFB to hang up.

Reject Incoming Phone Call
When an incoming call is received, press and hold the MFB for 1 second to reject the
incoming call.
Redial Last Number
With the receiver powered on and connected, double press the MFB to redial the last
outgoing phone number.
Voice Dialing
With the receiver powered on and connected, press and hold the MFB for 1 second to
initiate the voice calling function.
Three Way Calling
When a call is received while another call is in progress, momentarily press the MFB to end
the current call and answer the incoming call.
When a call is received while another call is in progress, double press the MFB to put the
current call on hold and answer the incoming call.
With one call on hold and a second in progress, double press the MFB to put the in
progress call on hold and resume the held call.
Automatic Power Off
If there is no audio playing and no other activity for 20 seconds, the receiver will
automatically power off.
When the battery charge reaches a minimal level, the receiver will automatically power off.

CHARGING
The internal battery should be charged before first use and at least once every month to
keep the battery fresh and capable of holding a full charge.
1. When the LED begins to flash red, the battery is low and needs to be recharged.
2. If power is on, press and hold the MFB for 5 seconds to turn the unit off.
3. Plug one end of the included Micro USB Charging Cable into the Micro USB
Charging Port, then plug the other end into a wall charger, power bank, computer,
or other USB power source (available separately). The LED will illuminate solid red,
indicating that charging is in progress.
4. When charging is complete, the LED will change to solid blue.
Note: If the charging power is sufficient, the receiver can be used while charging is in
progress. However, this can reduce the effective battery life, so we recommend against
doing so.
BLUETOOTH PAIRING
Pairing One Device
1. With the receiver powered off, press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds to power it on.
The LED will flash blue 5 times. If a previously connected device is powered on and
in range, the receiver will automatically reconnect with that device, otherwise the
receiver will enter Bluetooth pairing mode and LED will flash red and blue
alternately.
2. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and search for nearby Bluetooth
devices.
3. Locate and select the MP43245 entry. If prompted for a passcode, enter 0000 (four
zeros). After several seconds the devices will connect and the LED on the receiver
will flash blue once every 6 seconds.

Pairing Two Devices
The receiver can be paired to two devices at the same time. However, only one device can
play audio at a time. To play audio from the second device, first stop playback on the first
device.
1. Follow the instruction in the
Pairing One Device
section above to pair your first
device.
2. After successfully connecting, enter the Bluetooth® settings on the first device and
turn Bluetooth off.
3. Double press the MFB on the receiver to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The LED will
flash red and blue alternately.
4. Open the Bluetooth settings on your second device and search for nearby
Bluetooth devices.
5. Locate and select the MP43245 entry. If prompted for a passcode, enter 0000 (four
zeros). After several seconds the devices will connect and the LED on the receiver
will flash blue once every 6 seconds.
6. Once the connection has been established, enable Bluetooth on your first device.
The first device should automatically reconnect with the receiver.
