•This Sentry Stream Interface is intended for indoor use only.
•Do not expose this interface to water or moisture of any kind. Do not place drinks or other
containers with moisture on or near it. If moisture does get in or on this device, immediately
unplug it from the power source and allow it to fully dry before plugging back in.
•Do not touch this interface or its connected cable with wet hands.
•Do not expose this interface to excessively high temperatures. Do not place it in, on, or near heat
sources like a fireplace, stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in direct sunlight.
•Do not place or install this interface in an area where it can be exposed to excessive amounts of
dust, humidity, oil, smoke, or combustible vapors.
•Before using, check this interface and its cable for physical defects. Do not use if damage has
occurred.
•Take care to prevent damage to the cable. Do not let it become crimped, pinched, walked on, or
tangled with other cords. Ensure that the power cord does not present a tripping hazard.
•Ensure that power is turned off and disconnected before making any electrical connections.
•Do not use chemical cleaners or solvents to clean this interface. Use only a soft cloth moistened
with warm water.
•This interface has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service, or modify it.

HOW TO SET UP
STEP 1. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
•Download and install the Stream Interface.
a. Go to https://monoprice.com/ using your preferred Internet browser.
b. Type the part number: 44708
in the search box for the product information.
c. Scroll down until you find Support Files.
d. Click
Dark Matter Sentry Stream Interface
to start the download of the
.exe
file.
STEP 2. HARDWARE INSTALLATION
•Connect the Streaming Interface directly to a USB port on your PC or Mac—do not use a
USB hub. Press the start button to turn on.

STEP 3. CUSTOMIZATION
1. Launch the app to customize the Stream Interface. Drag actions from the right panel and
drop them onto your desired keys on the left.
2. Configure your actions and personalize keys with custom icons—for best results,
use 126 x 126-pixel .jpg or .png files.
3. Drag and drop “Create Folder" onto a key. Then drag and drop actions into that folder.

4. Tap the back key to exit a folder and return to your main configuration.
5. Right-click keys to copy, paste, or delete them.
STEP 4. STAND ADJUSTMENT
•Use a special stand to support the Stream Interface; adjust the stand to get the best
support.
