Power On
Panel Instruction & Basic Operation
Main Features
* PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING *
Power Supply
Please connect the designated AC adapter to an AC outlet of
the correct voltage.
Please be sure to use only an AC adapter which supplies 9V
DC, 300 mA, center minus.
Unplug the AC power adapter when not using or during
electrical storms.
Connections
Always turn off the power of this and all other equipments
before connecting or disconnecting, this will help prevent
malfunction and / or damage to other devices. Also make
sure to disconnect all connection cables and the power cord
before moving this unit.
Location
To avoid deformation, discoloration, or other serious
damage, do not expose this unit to the following conditions:
Direct sunlight
Heat sources
Magnetic fields
Extreme temperature or humidity
Excessive dusty or dirty location
High humidity or moisture
Strong vibration or shock
Interference with other electrical devices
Radios and televisions placed nearby may experience
reception interference. Operate this unit at a suitable
distance from radios and televisions.
Cleaning
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, slightly
moisten the cloth. Do not use abrasive cleanser, cleaning
alcohol, paint thinners, wax, solvents, cleaning fluids, or
chemical-impregnated wiping cloths.
Handling
Do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
Do not let paper, metallic, or other objects into this unit.
Take care not to drop the unit, and do not subject it to shock
or excessive Pressure.

Precautions
1. PLAY/STOP Button with LED:
Press this button to start/stop the drum rhythm. When the
drum rhythm is playing, the LED will be lit up.
2. Patch Button with LED:
Press this button to enter/exit Patch status. When entering
Patch status, the LED will be lit up.
3. Store Button:
Press this button to store patch, press again to confirm.
4. DRUM/VALUE Knob with Button:
Press the button to switch between 3 Drum items and
Play/Patch status. Rotate this knob to select Drum
parameters/Patches. Hold the button to enter tuner.
5. DRIVE Switch: Select effects between Clean/Overdrive/
Distortion/Crunch/Fuzz/Metal.
6. GAIN Knob: Adjust the gain of the DRIVE effects.
7. TONE Knob: Adjust the brightness of the sound.
8. MOD Knob: Select Modulation effects (between Chorus/
Flanger/Phaser/Tremolo) and adjust modulation rate (turn
clockwise to increase).
9. DLY/REV Knob: Select Delay/Reverb effects (between
Digital Delay/Echo Delay/Room Reverb/Hall Reverb) and
adjust delaytime or reverb level (turn clockwise to
increase).
10. Cab.Sim. Switch: Turn on/turn off the Cabinet Simulator,
the Cab.Sim. will bring more dynamics to your sound
when using headphones.
11. POWER Switch: Turn on/turn off the power.
12. VOL Dial: Control the output volume.
13. Display: Instruct the operation information of POGO.
14. INPUT Jack: 1/4 mono audio jack, for connecting guitar.
15. OUTPUT Jack: 1/4 mono audio jack, for connecting
guitar amplifier.
16. AUX In Jack: 1/8 stereo audio jack, for connecting
external music players.
17. PHONES Jack: 1/8 stereo audio jack, for connecting
headphones.
18. DC IN Jack: For power supply, use a 9-volt DC regulated
AC adapter, 300mA (plug polarity is positive on the barrel
and negative in the center).

Portable Guitar Effects
Power On
Plug the cable of AC Adapter (9V, 300mA, center minus) into
the [DC 9V] Jack, or using batteries (AAA/LR03 x 2), then
use the POWER Switch to turn the device on.

PLAY Mode
After power on, POGO will enter PLAY Mode, LED screen
displays [ ].
In PLAY mode, the effects of guitar sound is according to all
the knobs and switches on the device, what you see is what
you get.
Enter Patch Mode
In PLAY Mode, press [Patch] button to enter Patch mode
(Patch button’s LED will be lit up). [ ] will display on the LED
screen, “ ” is a Patch Bank and “ ” is the patch number, each
bank has 4 patches. POGO has 16 Preset Patches (Bank
~ ) and 16 User Patches for editing (Bank ~ ).

Storing/Copying Patches
Press [Store] button once, the patch's number (eg. [ ]) will
display on the LED and begin to flash, rotate [DRUM/VALUE]
to change the patch number, when you got the expectant
position, press [Store] button again to confirm the patch
storing, the patch’s number on the display will stop flashing.
Drum Rhythm
Entering Tuning Mode
Hold [DRUM/VALUE] button 2 seconds to enter tuning mode.
Tuning
Play one guitar string at a time, and adjust the guitar pitch as
LED’s instruction.
Quit Tuner
When in tuning mode, press [DRUM/VALUE] button to quit
tuning state. POGO will return to the previous status.

Note: To cancel the store process, press [Patch] or [DRUM
/VALUE] button, well then the patch will not be saved.
Note: An edited patch can be stored in a user bank (
~ ), it can not be stored in a preset patch ( ~ ).
Note: Storing an existing patch in another location can
create a copy.
Note: In Patch Mode, you can't adjust the parameters in
real-time, adjust any knob or switch (except POWER
Switch and VOL Dial)will not change the current
effects.
Start/Stop Drum Rhythm
Press [Play/Stop] button will start the drum rhythm (
Stop] button’s LED will be lit up). When the rhythm is playing,
press [Play/Stop] button again to stop.
Selecting Drum Rhythm Types
Press [DRUM/VALUE] button to enter Drum status, LED
screen will show the rhythm type firstly, then rotate the
[DRUM/VALUE] knob to select the rhythm type ( ~ ).
Adjusting Drum Rhythm Volume
Press [DRUM/VALUE] button again, LED screen will show
the drum rhythm volume, then rotate [DRUM/VALUE] knob to
change the rhythm volume ( ~ , the default value is ).
Changing Drum Rhythm Tempo
Press [DRUM/VALUE] button twice, the number displayed in
LED indicates the tempo of drum rhythm, then rotate [DRUM
/VALUE] knob to change tempo. The range of the displaying
tempo value is ~ , indicate the real tempo 60~270 BPM,
each rhythm has its own default tempo value.

Selecting Patches
In Patch Mode, rotate [DRUM/VALUE] Knob clockwise to
select patches forward. Rotate [DRUM/ VALUE] Knob
anticlockwise will switch patches in the opposite order.
