When using pressure cookers, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
1.Read all the instructions
2.Do not let children near the pressure cooker when in use
3.Do not put the pressure cooker into a heated oven
4.Move the pressure cooker under pressure with the greatest care. Do not touch hot
surfaces. Use the handles and knobs.
5.Do not use the pressure cooker for a purpose other than the one for which it is
intended
6.This appliance cooks under pressure. Scalds may result from inappropriate use of
the pressure cooker. Make sure that the cooker is properly closed before applying
heat.
7.Never force open the pressure cooker. Do not open before making sure that its
internal pressure has completely dropped.
8.Never use your pressure cooker without adding water.
which may damage the unit.
9.Do not fill the cooker beyond 2/3 of its capacity. When cooking foodstuffs which
expand during cooking, such as rice or dehydrated vegetables, do not fill the
cooker to more than half of its capacity
10.Use the appropriate heat source(s) according to the instructions for use.
11.After cooking meat with a skin (e.g. ox tongue) which may swell under the effect
of pressure, do not prick the meat while the skin is swollen; you might be scalded.
12.When cooking doughy food, gently shake the cooker before opening the lid to
avoid food ejection
13.Before each use, check that the valves are not obstructed. See the Instructions
for use
14.Never use the pressure cooker in its pressurized mode for deep or shallow frying
of food
15.Do not tamper with any of the safety systems beyond the maintenance instructions
specified in the instructions for use.
16.Only use manufacturer's spare parts in accordance with the relevant model. In
particular, use a body and a lid from the same manufacturer indicated as being
compatible

17. Do not use this pressure cooker for pressure frying with oil
18. Do not place the product near flammable materials or use in a humid environment
19. Do not damage the seal belt and DO NOT replace it with anything other than the
replacement belt designated for this unit

20. Do not tamper with the steel ring in the lid with any tools or external forces. If the
Steel Ring is damaged, please stop using immediately and contact customer service
for help
21. Clean the filter regularly to keep the cooker clean
22. NEVER use additional weight on the pressure limiting valve or replace the
pressure limiting valve with anything not intended for use with this unit
23. The surface of contact between the inner pot and the electronic heater should
always be clean. DO NOT use the inner pot with other heating sources. Do not
replace the inner pot with a container other than what is recommended by the
customer service
24. Food should not be kept warm for more than 4 hours in order to maintain the
freshness of the food. The pressure cooker should not be used for more than 6 hours
continuously. Serious injury and/or damage may occur if any safeguards are ignored
25. If steam releases around the lid during the cooking process, please unplug from
the power supply immediately, let cool, remove contents and return the product to
the manufacturer for exchange or repair. The Pressure Discharging Device has
activated. This is a safeguard to alert the user that the Pressure Limiting Device is
malfunctioning
26. If there is any malfunction of the cooker during the cooking process, please stop
using the device and return to the manufacturer for repair or exchange
27. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces
28. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts
29. Do not operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after it malfunctions
or has been damaged in any manner. Bring it to a qualified technician for examina-
tion, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment. DO NOT disassemble the product
or replace parts with parts not intended for this unit
30. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To discon-
nect, turn any control to off, then unplug it from wall outlet
31. Do not use outdoors
32. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven
33. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative
34. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the customer service may
cause injuries

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS: This appliance must be grounded. The plug must be
plugged into an outlet which is properly installed and grounded.
Warning: Improper use of the grounded cord can result in the risk of electric shock.
Consult a qualified electrician if necessary. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature by modifying plug.
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from
entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. If it is necessary to use an extension
cord, it should be positioned such that it does not drape over the counter or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over and:
1) Use only with appropriate cable for this load.
2) The marked rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the
rating of this appliance. The electrical rating is listed on the bottom of this unit

only if receptacle.
• This product should be used in DRY INDOOR environments only and is NOT
intended for commercial use.
• All parts and accessories for this appliance must be used properly according to
the instructions. All parts and accessories must be the original provided from
manufacturer.
• All other parts or accessories that is not intended for use with this appliance is
strictly prohibited.
• The use of an extension cord, power adapter or other electric devices is highly
not recommended.
LED ERROR INDICATOR:
If any of the below error codes appear on the pressure cooker display, unplug the
power cord and re-plug after 10 minutes. If the error code remains, contact the
manufacturer for a replacement part.

Safety precautions should always be followed, including:

If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can
leak
into the groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
Should the inner temperature control system fail, the overheating protection system
will be activated and the Unit will not function. Should this happen, unplug the power
cord.
Allow time for the unit to cool completely before restarting or storing.
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your new Unit may not
operate properly.
It should be operated on a dedicated electrical circuit.

• Do not position power cord near air vents while appliance is in operation.
• Do not touch or place yourself near the air outlet vent of this appliance when it is
operating.
• Do not cover the air inlet or outlet when appliance is operating.
• Never cover the appliance with other items.
• Do not use the appliance if there is damage to the plug, main cord, or appliance.
• Do not expose plug or cord to heating elements during operation.
• lf cord becomes hot, stop operation of this appliance.

• Do not touch accessories during or immediately after cooking. Always use oven
mitts to movepotentially hot accessories.
• Do not place metal or other conductive material into vents or you could risk electric
shock.
• Do not use any accessory or fitting other than original accessories and fittings.
• Do not operate this appliance with an external timer or remote-control system.
• Do not place flammable items such as paper or plastic into the appliance.
• Do not operate unless plug is properly plugged into a wall outlet.
• Do not use this product if you notice any problems during operation.
• Do not share an outlet with other appliances or risk damaging the outlet or causing
a fire.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other), so the plug
must be orientedcorrectly to fit into the plug.
• Be careful of hot steam and air escaping from the appliance during use and when
removing food.
• Immediately unplug if you see smoke emitting from the appliance.
• After finishing operation of this appliance, make sure the appliance is turned off
and unplugged.
• Let appliance cool for 30 minutes before disassembly or cleaning.
• Overheating protection: Appliance will not function if overheating protection is
activated. Unplug andwait for appliance to completely cool before restarting.
•This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- Farm houses;
- Used by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
CAUTION: Insure that the appliance is switched off before removing it from its stand.
Heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use that appliances are not
intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control
system.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children.
