When using electric appliances, basic safety precautions should always be adhered to,
including the following:
• Read all instructions carefully and retain them for future reference.
• Before connecting to the power supply, ensure that the unit is earthed and its voltage corresponds
to the voltage indicated on the power supply rating label.
• his appliance is intended for household use only and connected to an AC 220-240V power
supply.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• CAUTION: Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.

• Do not allow power cord to hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or heated oven.
• Disconnect appliance from the power supply after every use.
• Do not use appliance for other than its intended use.
• Do not use the unit near gas or other inflammable materials (such as benzene, paint thinner,
sprays, etc.)
• Ensure the appliance is does not touch flammable materials such as curtains, draperies, walls, and
the like during operation to avoid a possible fire hazard.
• Warning: Do not use this appliance near water sources to avoid the risk of shock circuit.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
• Exercise extreme caution when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Before using the appliance for the first time, detach any promotional materials and stickers.
• Ensure that the cooking plates are clean and free of dust.
• If necessary, wipe over with a damp cloth.
• For best results, pour a teaspoon of vegetable oil on to the non-stick plates. Spread over with an
absorbent kitchen towel and wipe off any excess oil.
DURING FIRST USE
When heated for the first time, the appliance may emit a slight smoke or odor. This is normal
with many heating appliances and does not affect the safety of your appliance.
• Connect the power plug into the power supply. he Power indicator will illuminate, indicating that
preheating has begun.
• Allow the appliance to pre-heat until the ready indicator goes off, indicating that the cooking plates
have reached the correct temperature for cooking.
• For best results, lightly spray the cooking plates with a cooking oil spray before using to assist in
the removal of cupcake after cooking.
• Divide mixture into pan holes as per recipes using a jug & spoon or fabric piping bag.
NOTE: Do not use disposable plastic piping bags as these may melt on contact with hot plates.
• Gently close the lid. Do not slam the lip down as it may cause the mixture to run off the cooking
plates.
• Allow to cook for approximately 5-8 minutes or until golden brown.
• Always use a plastic or wooden spatula to remove the cupcake. Never use a sharp object or metal,
as this will damage the non-stick surface of cooking plates.
• Children should be prohibited from playing with the appliance. Do not allow children to perform
cleaning and user maintenance service unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• his appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• CAUTION: HOT SURFACE! he temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the
appliance is operating.

CARE & CLEANING
• Always disconnect the power plug from the power supply before cleaning.
• he cooking plates are coated with non-stick cooking surface, therefore little cleaning is required.
Simply wipe cooking plates over with a damp cloth.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
• Do not use liquid or powder detergent or oven cleaners on the heating plates. o clean handles and
other parts, use a damp cloth with mild soap and towel
• Do not place into the dishwasher.
• Before next use, lightly grease the cooking plates for easy removal of cooked cupcake.
• Pour a little cooking oil onto the heating plates to remove stubborn food residues and wipe off after
5 minutes, when the filling has softened.
• CAU ION: DO NO IMMERSE IN WA ER
STORAGE
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before storage.
• Ensure the appliance is cool and dry before storage.

collection facilities.

old appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
