Health And Safety
The use of any electrical appliance requires the following common sense safety rules.
Please read these instructions carefully before using the product.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Keep the steam generator and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years of age at all times.
• The steam generator must not be left unattended while it is
connected to the supply mains.
• The steam generator must be used and rested on a stable
surface.
• When placing the iron on the steam generator base or on its
heel, ensure that the surface on which the heel or base is
placed is stable.
• The steam generator is not to be used if it has been dropped, if
there are visible signs of damage or it is leaking.
• The filling aperture may be opened during use, due to the
design of the system.

CAUTION - HOT: Burns can occur from touching hot
parts, hot water or steam, or the iron rest plate.
• WARNING: To avoid electric shock, do not immerse appliance
in water / liquid.
• Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your appliance
corresponds with your house electricity supply which must be
A.C. (Alternating current).
• Do not operate with a damaged steam/supply cord or cable
pivot, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not let the mains lead come into contact with the hot
soleplate of the iron.
• Should the fuse in the mains plug require changing, a 13 amp
BS1362 fuse must be fitted.
• WARNING: This appliance must be earthed.

Descaling indicator light (25)
When the system performs auto clean, the descaling indicator
light (25) will illuminate.
On/Off button (31) and Power indicator light (26)
Connect to a mains outlet and press the On/Off Button (31).
The power indicator light (26) will illuminate and the low steam
level indicator light (27) will flash. To turn off, press and hold the
On/Off button (31) for 3 seconds.
Steam level buttons (32/33)
Press the relevant button to either increase (32) or decrease
(33) the steam level. The steam level selected will be displayed
by illumination of the relevant steam level indicator light: low
(27), medium (28) or high (29). See step 5 of ‘Using the Steam
Generator for steam ironing’.
Low water level indicator light (30)
If the water level is too low, the low water level indicator light
(30) will illuminate. See the ‘Filling’ section.

Location
Locate the steam generator horizontally on the iron rest plate of
your ironing board (if large enough) or on a heat resistant stand at
the same height as your ironing board or below it. Always ensure
the steam generator is on a firm surface when ironing.
WARNING: Do not use the product on a surface which could be
damaged by heat or steam such as a worktop or a polished
wood surface.
If in doubt, contact Morphy Richards.
Before use
Remove any protective cover from the soleplate (6) and the base
unit, if any.
Unwind and straighten the power (35) and steam supply cords (34).
Textiles and clothes carry ironing instructions. If not, follow the
temperature guide above, but test the temperature by ironing the
hem of the garment or other discreet area first.
It is advised to begin with ‘cool’ fabrics (see above) and work up to
higher settings. An iron heats up quicker than it cools down so
you’ll save time and electricity.
If you turn the temperature dial down from a hot setting to a cooler
setting, wait until the temperature indicator light (7) goes out
(indicating the correct temperature has been reached) before you
continue ironing.
You can carry the appliance by the iron handle (2) once the iron is
locked to the base unit (22) (see ‘Storing the steam iron’ on page
11).
Using the Steam Generator for steam ironing
1 When steam ironing, remove the detachable water tank (15), lift
the filling cap (9), and fill with water to the max fill line. Replace
the water tank.
IMPORTANT: Never fill the dirty water chamber (10).
2 Plug the appliance into a mains outlet, you will hear a beep. Press
the On/Off button (31), it will beep again and the power indicator
light (26) will illuminate and the low steam level indicator light (27)
will flash.
3 Turn the temperature dial (5) to suit the garment (see ‘Temperature
guide’ on page 6). The temperature indicator light (7) illuminates
until the temperature is reached. Begin ironing when the
temperature indicator light goes out. If you turn the temperature
dial down, wait until the temperature indicator light illuminates and
then goes off again.
4 Unlock the iron from its storage position on top of the base unit
(22) by pressing and holding the iron release button (18) (marked
with a padlock icon) - this enables you to rotate the tip of the
soleplate (6) (in a clockwise direction) out from under the iron-to-
base locking hook (16) and lift the iron heel (8) away from the rear
docking hook (20).
WARNING: To avoid burning yourself if the soleplate is still
hot, never press down on the iron-to-base locking button (17)
to unlock the iron.
During use, the iron may be rested on the iron rest plate (19) with
the soleplate tip on top of the iron-to-base locking hook (16) and
the heel slotted on to the rear docking hook.

5 Press the relevant button to either increase (32) or decrease (33)
the steam level. The selected steam level will be displayed by
illumination of the relevant steam level indicator light. The steam
level indicator light will stop flashing and illuminate constantly
when the selected steam level is reached.
For a strong, continuous flow of steam during ironing, press and
hold the steam trigger (4) to deliver steam through the soleplate.
WARNING: The steam supply cord (34) will get hot during use.
6 When you have finished ironing, turn off the appliance by pressing
and holding the On/Off power button (31) for three seconds. A
beep will be heard and the power indicator light (26) and steam
level indicator (27/28/29) will be extinguished.
Disconnect the plug from the mains outlet.
Steam boost button (certain models only)
7 The steam boost function is ideal for relaxing the fibres of tougher
fabrics (like jeans and linen) and getting rid of those stubborn,
hard to reach creases.
To produce a quick, powerful shot of steam during ironing, simply
press and release the steam boost button (1).
NOTE: After using the steam boost function, your steam generator
iron will require up to 5 seconds to reheat before it can produce a
second boost of steam. If you require a high level of constant
steam, choose the appropriate steam level and use the steam
trigger (4) as instructed above.
Do not combine the two steam functions. Using the two
buttons together will interrupt the flow of steam and may result in
the constant steam cutting out completely. For optimum steam
output, use each steam function separately and as detailed
above.
Filling
IN HARD WATER AREAS, WE RECOMMEND
A MIX OF 50% TAP WATER AND 50% DISTILLED OR
DEMINERALISED WATER.
Never use battery topping up fluid or water containing any
substances like starch, sugar, fragrant additives or defrosted
water from a refrigerator.
Re-filling during use

If the water level is too low, the low water level indicator light
(30) will illuminate, a beep will be heard, and the unit will not
produce steam. If this happens, disconnect the water tank and

Dry ironing
To use your steam generator as a dry iron only, follow steps 2, 3
and 4 of ‘Using the Steam Generator for steam ironing’ on page
7. You do not need to put water in the tank or select a steam
level. Press either the steam boost button (1) (certain models
only) or the steam trigger (4) at least once every 10 minutes, or
the product will automatically turn off.
Auto shut-off (certain models only)
If either the steam boost button (1) (certain models only) or the
steam trigger (4) goes unused for 10 minutes, the product will
automatically turn off for safety and to save energy, and a beep
will be heard.
To restart, press the On/Off button (31) (see step 2 of ‘Using the
Steam Generator for steam ironing’ on page 7) and wait for the
temperature to rise again.
Steam function
During steaming, small amounts of water may be ejected from
the soleplate. This is normal and can be avoided by using the
steam for short amounts of time and only when the iron is at
the correct temperature (the temperature indicator light (7) on
the iron goes out when ready).
Sudden jolts of the boiler unit can also cause water droplets on
the soleplate; therefore, do not move the base unit during
ironing.
We recommend for first time ironing that you iron over an old
towel.
NOTE: The product may occasionally produce a pumping sound
during steam ironing. This is normal and is caused by water
being pumped through the steam generator.
Vertical steam

Vertical steam is useful for removing creases from hanging
clothes, curtains, upholstery, etc. Hold the iron between 1cm
and 2cm away from the item and press either the steam boost
button (1) (certain models only) or the steam trigger (4).

Auto clean function
Each time approximately 5L of water has been used in the steam
generator, it will need to run an auto clean cycle. When the
product is fully cooled down and first switched on, it will draw
water from the water tank (15) to flush the boiler, emptying dirty
water and limescale into the dirty water chamber (10). For this
short time, the descaling indicator light (25) will flash and you will
be unable to use the product to iron.
If there is not sufficient water to operate this function, the product
will alert you with the low water level indicator light (30) and the
process will be paused until the tank is refilled and replaced.
WARNING: During the auto clean process, the water ejected
from the machine is very hot, so do not remove the water
tank until the auto clean process is finished.
The auto clean process will take approximately 3 minutes, after
which the steam generator will be ready for normal operation
again. The flashing descaling indicator light (25) will extinguish and
the low steam level indicator light (27) will flash, indicating that the
steam generator is readying itself for the low steam level setting.
After ironing, switch off the steam generator at the On/Off power
button (31) and unplug from the mains outlet. If the auto clean
function has activated and completed, wait for the steam
generator to cool down completely. Remove the detachable water
tank and tip the dirty water from the dirty water emptying holes
(11).

IMPORTANT: Ensure the dirty water is emptied after each
auto clean cycle to prevent overflow.
WARNING: Dirty water in the dirty water chamber (10) will be
hot after the auto clean process, so take care when pouring it
out.
To clean a coated soleplate
Do not use scouring powder or solution as this could cause
damage to the coating.
If any man made fibres fuse to the soleplate (6), set the iron at the
MAX position and pass it over a clean piece of cotton to draw the
deposit off the surface.
To clean the exterior
Allow the unit to cool and wipe over with a damp cloth and mild
detergent, then wipe dry.
Emptying and storing

Allow the appliance to cool.
Remove the detachable water tank (15) by squeezing the water
tank release button (13). Lift the filler cap (9), and empty the water
tank. Once the water tank is empty, re-attach it to the base unit
(22).
To store, pull the cord clamp (24) outwards. Wrap the power cord
(35) and iron steam supply cord (34) around the base unit in the
cord storage groove (23). Secure the cord in place with the cord
clamp. Avoid kinking of cables, particularly where they meet the
base unit.
IMPORTANT: Do not pull too tightly on the iron steam supply
cord or on the cable pivot (3) when wrapping the power cord
(35) and steam supply cord around the base unit (22). Damage
to cables caused by wrapping too tightly will not be covered
by the guarantee.
Storing the steam iron

Lock the iron into the storage position on top of the steam
generator main body by pushing the soleplate down on the iron-
to-base locking button (17) whilst pushing the iron heel (8) onto
the rear docking hook (20). The iron should now be at a slight
diagonal on the iron rest plate. Pivot the tip of the soleplate (6)
under the iron-to-base locking hook (16) until the spring-loaded
iron-to-base locking button (17) springs up, securing the iron in
place.

This appliance is guaranteed for 2 years against faulty material,
components and workmanship.
This warranty is in addition and does not affect your statutory rights.
Proof of purchase must be produced for any warranty benefit.
In the unlikely event of any appliance proving to be faulty, securely
pack and return the item to the place of purchase accompanied by
the original receipt or invoice.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under
the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other
reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to
have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of
acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major
failure.

• Freight and insurance costs.

Morphy Richards’s policy is to continually improve quality
design and product quality. The company therefore reserves the
right to change any specifications or to carry out modifications
as deemed worthy at any time.
The Australian supplier reserves the right to repair, modify,
exchange or replace the faulty appliance with the same or
similar model or product of equivalent value.

• Μην θέσετε σε λειτουργία τη συσκευή εάν υπάρχει βλάβη
στο καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας/ατμού ή στον οδηγό περιστροφής
του καλωδίου. Πρέπει να γίνει αντικατάσταση από τον
κατασκευαστή, τον αντιπρόσωπο σέρβις ή από άλλο
εξειδικευμένο άτομο για την αποφυγή κινδύνου.
• Το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας ισχύος δεν πρέπει να έρχεται σε
επαφή με τη ζεστή πλάκα του σίδερου.
• Εάν η ασφάλεια για το βύσμα τροφοδοσίας χρειάζεται
αντικατάσταση, θα πρέπει να αντικατασταθεί από ασφάλεια
BS1362 13 amp.
• ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ: Η συσκευή πρέπει να γειωθεί.

Ενδεικτική λυχνία αφαλάτωσης (25)
Η ενδεικτική λυχνία αφαλάτωσης (25) θα ανάψει όταν το
σύστημα πραγματοποιεί αυτόματο καθαρισμό.
Κουμπί On/Off (31) και ενδεικτική λυχνία λειτουργίας (26)
Συνδέστε τη συσκευή σε πρίζα ρεύματος και πατήστε το
κουμπί On/Off (31). Η ενδεικτική λυχνία λειτουργίας (26) θα
ανάψει και η λυχνία ένδειξης χαμηλής παροχής ατμού (27)
θα αρχίσει να αναβοσβήνει. Για να απενεργοποιήσετε τη
συσκευή, πατήστε παρατεταμένα το κουμπί On/Off (31) επί 3
δευτερόλεπτα.
Κουμπιά παροχής ατμού (32/33)
Για να αυξήσετε (32) ή μειώσετε (33) την παροχή ατμού
πατήστε το αντίστοιχο κουμπί. Το επιλεγμένο επίπεδο
παροχής ατμού θα υποδεικνύεται από την αντίστοιχη
αναμμένη ενδεικτική λυχνία παροχής ατμού: χαμηλή (27),
μεσαία (28) ή υψηλή (29). Βλ. βήμα 5 «Χρήση της γεννήτριας
ατμού για σιδέρωμα με ατμό».
Ενδεικτική λυχνία χαμηλής στάθμης νερού (30)
Αν η στάθμη νερού είναι πολύ χαμηλή, θα ανάψει η
ενδεικτική λυχνία χαμηλής στάθμης νερού (30). Ανατρέξτε
στην ενότητα «Πλήρωση».

Θέση τοποθέτησης
Τοποθετείτε τη γεννήτρια ατμού σε οριζόντια θέση πάνω στη
βάση σίδερου της σιδερώστρας σας (εάν είναι αρκετά
μεγάλη) ή σε βάση που είναι ανθεκτική στη θερμότητα και
στο ίδιο ύψος με τη σιδερώστρα σας ή κάτω από αυτήν. Να
βεβαιώνεστε πάντοτε ότι η γεννήτρια ατμού βρίσκεται πάνω
σε σκληρή επιφάνεια όταν σιδερώνετε.
ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ: Μη χρησιμοποιείτε το προϊόν πάνω σε
επιφάνεια που μπορεί να καταστραφεί από τη θερμότητα ή τον
ατμό όπως πάγκος εργασίας ή ξύλινη λουστραρισμένη
επιφάνεια.
Σε περίπτωση αμφιβολίας, επικοινωνήστε με την Morphy
Richards.
Πριν από τη χρήση
Αφαιρέστε τυχόν προστατευτικά καλύμματα από την πλάκα
(6) και τη μονάδα βάσης, εφόσον υπάρχουν.
Ξετυλίξτε και ισιώστε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας (35) και το
καλώδιο παροχής ατμού (34).
Τα υφάσματα και τα ρούχα θα πρέπει να φέρουν οδηγίες
σιδερώματος. Σε αντίθετη περίπτωση, ακολουθήστε τον
παραπάνω οδηγό θερμοκρασίας, αλλά δοκιμάστε τη
θερμοκρασία σιδερώνοντας πρώτα το στρίφωμα του ρούχου
ή άλλη κρυφή περιοχή.
Συνιστάται να αρχίζετε το σιδέρωμα με ενδύματα που
σιδερώνονται σε χαμηλή θερμοκρασία (βλεπε παραπάνω) και
να συνεχίζετε με υψηλότερες θερμοκρασίες. Ένα σίδερο
ζεσταίνεται πιο γρήγορα από ό,τι κρυώνει και για το λόγο
αυτό, θα εξοικονομήσετε χρόνο και ηλεκτρικό ρεύμα.
Αν χαμηλώσετε τη θερμοκρασία από μια υψηλή ρύθμιση σε
μια χαμηλότερη ρύθμιση, περιμένετε μέχρι η ενδεικτική
λυχνία θερμοκρασίας (7) να σβήσει (υποδεικνύοντας ότι
έφτασε στη σωστή θερμοκρασία) πριν συνεχίσετε το
σιδέρωμα.
Μπορείτε να μεταφέρετε τη συσκευή από τη λαβή του
σίδερου (2) όταν αυτό είναι ασφαλισμένο στη μονάδα βάσης
(22) (βλ. ‘Αποθήκευση του ατμοσίδερου’ στη σελίδα 11).
Χρήση της γεννήτριας ατμού για σιδέρωμα με
ατμό
1 Για σιδέρωμα με ατμό, αφαιρέστε το αποσπώμενο δοχείο
νερού (15), ανασηκώστε το καπάκι πλήρωσης (9) και γεμίστε
με νερό μέχρι τη γραμμή μέγιστης πλήρωσης. Βάλτε ξανά το
δοχείο νερού στη θέση του.
ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟ: Μη γεμίζετε ποτέ το θάλαμο βρώμικου νερού.
2 Συνδέστε τη συσκευή στην πρίζα και θα ακούσετε έναν
χαρακτηριστικό ήχο. Πατήστε το κουμπί On/Off (31), ο
χαρακτηριστικός ήχος θα ακουστεί ξανά και η ενδεικτική
λυχνία λειτουργίας (26) θα ανάψει ενώ η λυχνία ένδειξης
χαμηλής παροχής ατμού (27) θα αναβοσβήνει.

3 Στρέψτε τον επιλογέα θερμοκρασίας (5) ανάλογα με το
ύφασμα (βλ. ‘Οδηγός θερμοκρασίας’ στη σελίδα 6). Η
ενδεικτική λυχνία θερμοκρασίας (7) παραμένει αναμμένη
μέχρι να επιτευχθεί η σωστή θερμοκρασία. Ξεκινήστε το
σιδέρωμα όταν σβήσει η ενδεικτική λυχνία θερμοκρασίας. Αν
επιλέξετε χαμηλότερη θερμοκρασία με τον επιλογέα
θερμοκρασίας, περιμένετε να ανάψει η ενδεικτική λυχνία
θερμοκρασίας και μετά να σβήσει ξανά.
4 Ξεκλειδώστε το σίδερο από τη θέση αποθήκευσης πάνω στη
μονάδα βάσης (22) πιέζοντας και κρατώντας πατημμένο το
κουμπί αποδέσμευσης σίδερου (18) (σημειώνεται με ένα
εικονίδιο κλειδαριάς) - αυτό σας επιτρέπει να περιστρέψετε
τη μύτη της βάσης (6) (δεξιόστροφα) έξω από το άγκιστρο
ασφάλισης που βρίσκεται κάτω από το σίδερο (16) και να
ανασηκώσετε τη βάση στήριξης του σίδερου (8)
απομακρύνοντας το από το πίσω άγκιστρο στάθμευσης (20).
ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ: Για να αποφύγετε εγκαύματα αν η πλάκα
του σίδερου είναι ακόμη ζεστή, μην πιέζετε ποτέ στο κουμπί
ασφάλισης του σίδερου στη βάση (17) για να ξεκλειδώσετε
το σίδερο.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της χρήσης, το σίδερο πρέπει να
τοποθετείται στη βάση στήριξης (19) με τη μύτη πάνω από το
άγκιστρο ασφάλισης του σίδερου στη βάση (16) και το πίσω
μέρος να επικάθεται στο πίσω άγκιστρο στάθμευσης.
Χρήση της γεννήτριας ατμού για σιδέρωμα με
ατμό (συνέχεια)
5 Πατήστε το αντίστοιχο κουμπί είτε για να αυξήσετε (32) είτε
για να μειώσετε (33) το επίπεδο παροχής ατμού. Το
επιλεγμένο επίπεδο παροχής ατμού θα υποδεικνύεται με το
άναμμα της αντίστοιχης ενδεικτικής λυχνίας. Η ενδεικτική
λυχνία παροχής ατμού θα σταματήσει να αναβοσβήνει και θα
ανάβει σταθερά όταν επιτευχθεί το επιθυμητό επίπεδο
παροχής ατμού.
Για ισχυρή, σταθερή ροή ατμού κατά τη διάρκεια του
σιδερώματος, πιέστε παρατεταμένα τη σκανδάλη παροχής
ατμού (4) για να εξέλθει ατμός από την πλάκα του σίδερου.
• ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ: Το καλώδιο παροχής ατμού (34)
θερμαίνεται κατά τη διάρκεια της χρήσης.
6 Όταν τελειώσετε το σιδέρωμα, απενεργοποιήστε τη συσκευή
πιέζοντας παρατεταμμένα το κουμπί λειτουργίας On/Off (31)
για τρία δευτερόλεπτα. Θα ακουστεί ένας χαρακτηριστικός
ήχος και οι ενδεικτικές λυχνίες λειτουργίας (26) και παροχής
ατμού (27/28/29) θα σβήσουν.
Αποσυνδέστε τη συσκευή από την πρίζα.
Κουμπί ενίσχυσης ατμού (μόνο ορισμένα
μοντέλα)
7 Η λειτουργία ενίσχυσης ατμού είναι ιδανική για τη χαλάρωση
των ινών των σκληρότερων υφασμάτων (όπως τα τζιν και τα
λινά) καθώς και για να αφαιρείτε τις επίμονες ζάρες
δύσκολης προσέγγισης.
Για να παραγάγετε μια γρήγορη, ισχυρή ριπή ατμού κατά τη
διάρκεια του σιδερώματος. απλώς πατήστε στιγμιαία το
κουμπί ενίσχυσης ατμού (1).
ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: Μετά τη χρήση της λειτουργίας ενίσχυσης
ατμού, η γεννήτρια ατμού χρειάζεται έως και 5
δευτερόλεπτα για να επαναθερμανθεί προτού μπορέσει να
παραγάγει μια δεύτερη ριπή ατμού. Αν επιθυμείτε μια συνεχή
υψηλή στάθμη ατμού, επιλέξτε την κατάλληλη στάθμη ατμού
και χρησιμοποιήστε τη σκανδάλη παροχής ατμού (4)
σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες παραπάνω.
Μη συνδυάζετε τις δύο λειτουργίες ατμού. Η χρήση των δύο
κουμπιών ταυτόχρονα θα διακόψει τη ροή ατμού και μπορεί
να έχει ως αποτέλεσμα την ολική διακοπή του συνεχούς
ατμού. Για μέγιστη παροχή ατμού, χρησιμοποιείτε την κάθε
λειτουργία ατμού ξεχωριστά και όπως περιγράφεται
παραπάνω.
Πλήρωση
ΣΕ ΠΕΡΙΟΧΕΣ ΜΕ ΣΚΛΗΡΟ ΝΕΡΟ, ΣΥΝΙΣΤΟΥΜΕ
ΤΗ ΧΡΗΣΗ ΜΙΓΜΑΤΟΣ 50 % ΝΕΡΟΥ ΒΡΥΣΗΣ ΚΑΙ 50 %
ΑΠΟΣΤΑΓΜΕΝΟΥ Ή ΑΠΙΟΝΙΣΜΕΝΟΥ ΝΕΡΟΥ.
Μη χρησιμοποιείτε ποτέ υγρό συμπλήρωσης μπαταριών ή
νερό που περιέχει ουσίες όπως άμυλο, ζάχαρη, αρωματικά
πρόσθετα ή αποψυγμένο νερό από καταψύκτη.
Συμπλήρωση νερού κατά τη χρήση

Αν η στάθμη νερού είναι πολύ χαμηλή, η ενδεικτική λυχνία
χαμηλής στάθμης ατμού (30) θα ανάψει, θα ακουστεί ο
χαρακτηριστικός ήχος και η μονάδα δεν θα παράγει ατμό.
Στην περίπτωση αυτή, αποσυνδέστε το δοχείο νερού και
γεμίστε το ξανά με νερό.
Χαρακτηριστικά
Στεγνό σιδέρωμα
Για να χρησιμοποιήσετε τη γεννήτρια ατμού μόνο για στεγνό
σιδέρωμα, ακολουθήστε τα βήματα 2, 3 και 4 της ενότητας
«Χρήση της γεννήτριας ατμού για σιδέρωμα με ατμό» στη
σελίδα 7. Δε χρειάζεται να βάλετε νερό στο δοχείο ούτε να
επιλέξετε κάποια στάθμη ατμού. Πατήστε είτε το κουμπί
ενίσχυσης ατμού (1) (μόνο ορισμένα μοντέλα) ή τη σκανδάλη
παροχής ατμού (4) τουλάχιστον μία φορά κάθε 10 λεπτά,
διαφορετικά το προϊόν θα απενεργοποιηθεί αυτόματα.
Αυτόματη απενεργοποίηση (μόνο σε ορισμένα μοντέλα)
Αν είτε το κουμπί ενίσχυσης ατμού (1) (μόνο ορισμένα
μοντέλα) είτε η σκανδάλη παροχής ατμού (4) δεν
χρησιμοποιηθούν για 10 λεπτά, το προϊόν θα
απενεργοποιηθεί αυτόματα για λόγους ασφαλείας και για
εξοικονόμηση ενέργειας και θα ακουστεί ένας
χαρακτηριστικός ήχος.
Για επανεκκίνηση, πατήστε το κουμπί On/Off (31) (βλ. βήμα 2
ενότητας «Χρήση της γεννήτριας ατμού για σιδέρωμα με
ατμό» στη σελίδα 7) και περιμένετε να αυξηθεί ξανά η
θερμοκρασία.
Λειτουργία ατμού
Κατά τη διάρκεια του σιδερώματος με ατμό, ενδέχεται να
εκτοξεύονται μικρές ποσότητες νερού από την πλάκα του
σίδερου. Αυτό είναι φυσιολογικό, και μπορεί να αποφευχθεί
αν η λειτουργία ατμού χρησιμοποιείται για μικρά χρονικά
διαστήματα και μόνο όταν το σίδερο βρίσκεται στη σωστή
θερμοκρασία (η ενδεικτική λυχνία θερμοκρασίας (7) στο
σίδερο σβήνει όταν είναι έτοιμο).

Επίσης, τυχόν απότομα τινάγματα του μπόιλερ είναι δυνατό
να δημιουργήσουν σταγόνες νερού στην πλάκα του σίδερου.
Επομένως, μη μετακινείτε τη βάση κατά τη διάρκεια του
σιδερώματος.
Σας συνιστούμε να χρησιμοποιήσετε μια παλιά πετσέτα την
πρώτη φορά που θα σιδερώσετε.
ΣΗΜΕΙΩΣΗ: Ενδέχεται να ακούγεται ενίοτε ένας ήχος
άντλησης από τη συσκευή κατά τη διάρκεια του σιδερώματος
με ατμό. Αυτό είναι φυσιολογικό και οφείλεται στην άντληση
νερού από τη γεννήτρια ατμού.
Κάθετο σιδέρωμα με ατμό

Το κάθετο σιδέρωμα με ατμό είναι χρήσιμο για να αφαιρείτε
τις ζάρες από ρούχα που ήταν κρεμασμένα, κουρτίνες,
υφάσματα τοίχου κ.λπ. Κρατήστε το σίδερο σε απόσταση 1
έως 2 εκατ. από το ύφασμα και πατήστε είτε το κουμπί
ενίσχυσης ατμού (1) (μόνο σε ορισμένα μοντέλα) ή τη
σκανδάλη παροχής ατμού (4).
Συντήρηση

Λειτουργία αυτόματου καθαρισμού
Κάθε φορά που περίπου 5L νερού έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί στη
γεννήτρια ατμού, θα χρειαστεί ένας κύκλος αυτόματου
καθαρισμού. Όταν το προϊόν κρυώσει τελείως και
λειτουργήσει για πρώτη φορά, θα ρίξει νερό από το δοχείο
νερού (15) για να ξεπλύνει το μπόιλερ και να αδειάσει το
βρώμικο νερό και τα άλατα στο θάλαμο βρώμικου νερού (10).
Για αυτό το σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα, θα αναβοσβήνει η
ενδεικτική λυχνία αφαλάτωσης (25) και δεν θα μπορείτε να
χρησιμοποιήσετε το προϊόν για να σιδερώσετε.
Αν δεν υπάρχει αρκετό νερό για να πραγματοποιηθεί αυτή η
διαδικασία, το προϊόν θα σας ειδοποιήσει με την ενδεικτική
λυχνία χαμηλής στάθμης νερού (30) και η λειτουργία θα
αναβληθεί μέχρι να να γίνει η αναπλήρωση του νερού και η
τοποθέτηση του δοχείου.
ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ: Κατά τη διάρκεια του αυτόματου
καθαρισμού, το νερό που εκτινάσεται από το μηχάνημα είναι
πολύ καυτό, επομένως μην αφαιρείτε το δοχείο νερού μέχρι
να ολοκληρωθεί η αυτόματη διαδικασία καθαρισμού.
Η διαδικασία αυτόματου καθαρισμού θα διαρκέσει περίπου 3
λεπτά, μετά από τα οποία η γεννήτρια ατμού είναι ξανά
έτοιμη για κανονική λειτουργία. Η ενδεικτική λυχνία
αφαλάτωσης που αναβοσβήνει (25) θα σβήσει και θα αρχίσει
να αναβοσβήνει η ενδεικτική λυχνία παροχής ατμού (27),
υποδεικνύοντας ότι η γεννήτρια ατμού προετοιμάζεται για τη
ρύθμιση χαμηλής παροχής ατμού.
Μετά το σιδέρωμα, απενεργοποιήστε τη γεννήτρια ατμού
από το διακόπτη On/Off (31) και αποσυνδέστε από την πρίζα.
Αν η λειτουργία αυτόματου καθαρισμού ενεργοποιήθηκε και
ολοκληρώθηκε, περιμένετε μέχρι η γεννήτρια ατμού να
κρυώσει τελείως. Απομακρύνετε το αφαιρούμενο δοχείο
νερού και στραγγίστε το βρώμικο νερό από τις οπές
αδειάσματος βρώμικου νερού (11).
ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟ: Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το βρώμικο νερό έχει αδειάσει
μετά από κάθε κύκλο αυτόματου καθαρισμού για να
αποφύγετε την υπερχείλιση.
ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ: Το βρώμικο νερό στο θάλαμο βρώμικου
νερού (10) θα είναι καυτό μετά τη διαδικασία αυτόματου
καθαρισμού, επομένως προσέχετε όταν το αδειάζετε.
Καθαρισμός πλάκας με επίστρωση
Μη χρησιμοποιήσετε σκόνη ή διάλυμα καθαρισμού διότι θα
προκαλέσετε φθορά στην επίστρωση.
Για να καθαρίσετε τυχόν λιωμένες τεχνητές ίνες που έχουν
κολλήσει στην επιφάνεια της πλάκας (6), ρυθμίστε το σίδερο
στη θέση MAX και περάστε το πάνω από ένα καθαρό κομμάτι
βαμβακερού υφάσματος, για να αφαιρεθούν οι λιωμένες ίνες
από την επιφάνεια.
Καθαρισμός εξωτερικής επιφάνειας
Αφήστε τη μονάδα να κρυώσει και σκουπίστε την επιφάνειά
της με υγρό πανί και ήπιο απορρυπαντικό. Στη συνέχεια,
σκουπίστε για να στεγνώσει.
Άδειασμα και αποθήκευση

Αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει.
Απομακρύνετε το αφαιρούμενο δοχείο νερού (15) πιέζοντας
το κουμπί αποδέσμευσης δοχείου νερού (13). Ανασηκώστε το
κάλυμμα αναπλήρωσης (9) και αδειάστε το δοχείο νερού.
Μόλις αδειάσει το δοχείο νερού, τοποθετήστε το ξανά στη
μονάδα βάσης (22).
Για να αποθηκεύσετε τη συσκευή, τραβήξτε το σφιγκτήρα
καλωδίου (24) προς τα έξω. Τυλίξτε το καλώδιο ρεύματος (35)
και το καλώδιο παροχής ατμού (34) γύρω από τη μονάδα
βάσης στην εγκοπή αποθήκευσης καλωδίου (23). Στερεώστε
το καλώδιο στη σωστή θέση με το σφιγκτήρα καλωδίου.
Αποφύγετε τη στρέβλωση των καλωδίων, ιδιαίτερα στην
έξοδο από τη μονάδα βάσης.
ΣΗΜΑΝΤΙΚΟ: Μην τραβάτε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας ατμού
της γεννήτριας ατμού ή τον οδηγό περιστροφής καλωδίου
(3) όταν τυλίγετε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας (35) και το
καλώδιο παροχής ατμού γύρω από τη μονάδα βάσης (22).
Τυχόν βλάβη που προξενείται στο καλώδιο από πολύ σφικτό
τύλιγμα δεν θα καλύπτεται από την εγγύηση.
Αποθήκευση του ατμοσίδερου

Ασφαλίστε το σίδερο στη θέση αποθήκευσης πάνω στο κύριο
σώμα της γεννήτριας ατμού πιέζοντας την πλάκα του
σίδερου προς τα κάτω στο κουμπί ασφάλισης σίδερου στη
βάση (17) ενώ πιέζετε τη βάση στήριξης του σίδερου (8) στο
πίσω άγκιστρο στάθμευσης (20). Το σίδερο πρέπει τώρα να
βρίσκεται σε ελαφρώς διαγώνια θέση πάνω στη βάση
στήριξης. Περιστρέψτε τη μύτη της πλάκας του σίδερου (6)
κάτω από το άγκιστρο ασφάλισης του σίδερου στη βάση (16)
μέχρι το κουμπί ασφάλισης με ελατήριο του σίδερου στη
βάση (17) να τεντωθεί προς τα πάνω, ασφαλίζοντας το
σίδερο στη θέση του.

Η ΔΙΕΘΝΗΣ διετής εγγύηση
Η συσκευή αυτή καλύπτεται από διετή εγγύηση
επιδιόρθωσης ή αντικατάστασης.
Πρέπει να φυλάξετε την απόδειξη λιανικής πώλησης ως
απόδειξη αγοράς. Συρράψτε την απόδειξη στο οπισθόφυλλο
του παρόντος εγχειριδίου για μελλοντική αναφορά.
Σε περίπτωση βλάβης του προϊόντος, πρέπει να παρέχετε τις
παρακάτω πληροφορίες. Οι αριθμοί αυτοί αναγράφονται στη
βάση του προϊόντος.
Αριθμός μοντέλου
Αριθμός σειράς
Όλα τα προϊόντα Morphy Richards υποβάλλονται
μεμονωμένα σε ελέγχους πριν από την παράδοσή τους από
το εργοστάσιο. Εάν μια συσκευή αποδειχτεί ελαττωματική
εντός 28 ημερών από την αγορά, θα πρέπει να επιστραφεί
στο κατάστημα πώλησης για αντικατάσταση.
Εάν η βλάβη εμφανιστεί ύστερα από 28 ημέρες και εντός 24
μηνών από την αρχική αγορά, θα πρέπει να επικοινωνήσετε
με τον τοπικό αντιπρόσωπο αναφέροντας τον αριθμό
μοντέλου και τον αριθμό σειράς που αναγράφονται στο
προϊόν ή να στείλετε μια επιστολή στον τοπικό αντιπρόσωπο
στις διευθύνσεις που αναφέρονται.
Θα σας ζητηθεί να επιστρέψετε το προϊόν (σε ασφαλή και
κατάλληλη συσκευασία) μαζί με αντίγραφο της απόδειξης
αγοράς στην παρακάτω διεύθυνση.
Εφόσον δεν συντρέχει λόγος εξαίρεσης, όπως ορίζεται
παρακάτω (1-9), η ελαττωματική συσκευή στη συνέχεια
επισκευάζεται ή αντικαθίσταται και αποστέλλεται συνήθως
εντός 7 εργάσιμων ημερών από την παραλαβή.
Αν για οποιονδήποτε λόγο το προϊόν αντικατασταθεί κατά τη
διάρκεια της διετούς εγγύησης, η περίοδος εγγύησης του
καινούριου προϊόντος υπολογίζεται από την ημερομηνία της
αρχικής αγοράς. Συνεπώς, είναι σημαντικό να φυλάξετε την
αρχική απόδειξη ή τιμολόγιο, για να δηλώσετε την
ημερομηνία της αρχικής αγοράς.
Για να πληρούνται οι προϋποθέσεις διετούς εγγύησης, η
συσκευή θα πρέπει να έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί σύμφωνα με τις
οδηγίες του κατασκευαστή. Για παράδειγμα, θα πρέπει να
εκτελείται αφαλάτωση της συσκευής και τα φίλτρα να
διατηρούνται καθαρά σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες που
παρέχονται.
Ο τοπικός διανομέας δεν φέρει καμία ευθύνη όσον αφορά
στην αντικατάσταση ή την επισκευή των προϊόντων στο
πλαίσιο της εγγύησης εάν:
1 Η βλάβη έχει προκληθεί ή οφείλεται σε ακούσια χρήση, κακή
χρήση, αμέλεια ή χρήση αντίθετη προς τις συστάσεις του
κατασκευαστή ή εάν η βλάβη έχει προκληθεί από υπέρταση
ή κατά τη διάρκεια μεταφοράς.
2 Η συσκευή έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί σε παροχή τάσης
διαφορετική από αυτήν που αναγράφεται στα προϊόντα.
3 Έχουν εκτελεστεί επισκευές από άλλα άτομα, πέρα από το
προσωπικό συντήρησης που διαθέτουμε (ή τον
εξουσιοδοτημένο αντιπρόσωπο).
4 Η συσκευή έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί για ενοικίαση ή μη οικιακή
χρήση.
5 Η συσκευή αγοράστηκε μεταχειρισμένη.
6 Ο τοπικός διανομέας δεν είναι υπεύθυνος για την εκτέλεση
εργασιών συντήρησης στο πλαίσιο της εγγύησης.
7 Από την εγγύηση εξαιρούνται αναλώσιμα είδη, όπως
σακούλες, φίλτρα και γυάλινες καράφες.
8 Οι μπαταρίες και τυχόν ζημίες από διαρροή δεν καλύπτονται
από την εγγύηση.
9 Τα φίλτρα δεν καθαρίστηκαν και αντικαταστάθηκαν σύμφωνα
με τις οδηγίες.
Η παρούσα εγγύηση δεν παραχωρεί άλλα δικαιώματα εκτός
από αυτά που αναφέρονται ρητά παραπάνω και δεν καλύπτει
τυχόν αξιώσεις για επακόλουθη απώλεια ή ζημία. Η εγγύηση
παρέχεται ως πρόσθετη παροχή και δεν επηρεάζει τα
νομοθετικά κατοχυρωμένα δικαιώματά σας ως καταναλωτές.
