Thank you for buying your new Morphy Richards, Mark Hill beauty mirror. Please
read these instructions carefully before use and keep in a safe place for future
reference.

Using your beauty mirror
Place the mirror on a hard, level
surface.
Plug in the power source.
Loosen the angle locking device
slightly and swivel mirror to either
standard reflection or triple
magnification.
Angle the mirror to suit and
tighten the angle locking device to fix
into place.
Plug the mirror into the electrical
socket and switch on at the on/off
switch on the power cord to produce
the light halo effect.

Replacing the light bulb
Ensure the appliance is switched
off and the plug has been removed
from the electrical socket.
Use a small screwdriver to remove
the two screws at the rim of the
mirror. Carefully remove the rim
section and replace the bulb inside
with a bulb of the same specification.
Replace the mirror rim section
aligning the screw holes exactly and
carefully replacing the screws.

Important Safeguards
When using your beauty mirror,
basic safety precautions should always
be followed.
1 Read all instructions carefully.
2 Be sure never to place the
mirror in a position where it
can reflect sunlight. Reflected
sunlight is very likely to cause
fire.
3 Use the appliance for its intended
use only.
4 To protect against the risk of
electric shock, do not immerse the
appliance in water or in any other
liquids.
5 It is recommended that this
appliance should not be used by
children.
6 Do not leave the unit switched on
when not in use.
7 Do not plug in or unplug appliance
when hands are wet.
8 Do not use the product outdoors.
9 Do not use in a bathroom or use
near a water basin.

Cleaning
Ensure the unit is switched off and
unplugged. Wipe the exterior of the
mirror with a slightly damp cloth.
If necessary a small amount of
liquid detergent could be added. Never
under any circumstances use abrasive
cleaners as these will cause damage to
the surface of the appliance.

Wiring
This product is fitted with a 13A
(BS1363) plug. A 3 amp fuse (BS1362)
must be used.
Check that the voltage on the rating
plate of your appliance corresponds
with your house electricity supply
which must be A.C. (Alternating
Current).
If the socket outlets in your home are
not suitable for the plug supplied with
this appliance the plug should be
removed and the appropriate one
fitted.
IMPORTANT : THE PLUG REMOVED
FROM THE MAINS LEAD, IF SEVERED,
MUST BE DESTROYED AS A PLUG
WITH BARED FLEXIBLE CORD IS
HAZARDOUS IF ENGAGED INTO A
LIVE SOCKET OUTLET.
Mains Lead
As a safety precaution and to prolong
the life of your appliance, do not wrap
the mains lead around the appliance as
this will cause damage.

Two Year Guarantee
It is in your interest to retain the retailers receipt as proof of purchase. Please quote the model
number if the product develops a fault. This number can be found on the handle of the product.
All Morphy Richards products are individually tested before leaving the factory. In the unlikely
event of any appliance proving to be faulty within 28 days of purchase it should be returned to the
place of purchase for it to be replaced.
If a fault develops after 28 days and within 24 months of original purchase, you should contact the
helpline number quoting the model number of the product, or write to the address below. You will
be asked to return the product (in secure packaging) to the address below along with a copy of
proof of purchase.
