Quick start
1Ensuretheunitis fully charged.
2Assemblethe nozzle, and hose as described
below.
3Ensureyou have the filter installedcorrectly.
4Switchonthe unit by sliding the on/offswitch
downwards.

1Fitthehose tothecleanerby inserting the
hoseend(shortend)intothehoseinlet .
2Whenremoving push the release button in

totighten the connection.

4Attachthe upholstery/wet pick upattachment

Charging the battery
Yourvacuum cleaner comes withthe battery
fullyassembled.Thebattery will be in a low
chargecondition.Itshouldbechargedfor 20-24
hourspriortoinitialuse.
Note:Charging shouldnot becarried out
whenthe ambienttemperatureis below0oC or
above+40oC.
Thechargingunit will become warm during
use.This is normal.
IMPORTANT: Donot charge for more than
72hours as overchargingmaydamagethe
battery.Donotallow thebatteryto completely
discharge.Low suction indicates a lowbattery.
Rechargethe battery as soon aspossible.
To Recharge
1Slidetheon/offswitch totheoffposition.
2Inserttheconnectorplugfrom the end of the
chargingunit intothecharging socket
onthe cleaner.
3Plugthechargingunitintotheelectrical
socket,theLEDchargingindicator will
lightup. This indicates that theunit is
chargingcorrectly.
Whenthebatteryis fully charged the LED
indicatorwillgooff.
4Removethe charger unit from the electrical
outletsocket then removetheconnectorplug
fromthe cleaner.
IMPORTANT:Do not use the cleanerwiththe
chargerunit connected.

Dry pick up
1Disconnecttheunitfromthecharging
adaptor .

3Whenpickingupdrydebris, vacuum inany
directionuntil the area is clean.Forheavily
soiledareas, a backwards and forwards
sweepingmotionshouldbe used. A brush
attachmentisincluded for cleaning the
carpet.

Wet pick up
Emptythe container before picking up liquid
orwet debris.
1Donotsuckin liquid above the ‘FILL LINE’
marking.Handle withcarewhenyou have
liquidinside the tank.
IMPORTANT:Keep the water away fromthe
tankcover/motor unit as this could damagethe
unit.
2Afteruserinse the tank and filter inwarm
water(no detergent)andthoroughly dry
beforere-assembly.

Cleaning the filter
1The cloth filter must be cleaned on a
regular basis to maintain suction. The
efficiency of the vacuum is largely
dependant on the filter.
2To clean the reusable filter, removethelid
andshakeoffloose dirtand dust. The brush
attachmentmaybe used for this.
3Lift off the cloth filter and shake
vigorously.
4Ifnecessarywashthefilterinwarm water.Do
notusedetergent. Allow the filter to dry
naturallyand ensure it is totallydrybefore
installingback into the cleaner.
Asparefilterisprovidedtoallowyouto
continueusingyourPODvacuumwhilstthe
originalfilteris washed and dried.

Storage
1Beforestoring your vacuum cleaner,thetank
shouldbeemptied,cleanedand thoroughly
driedbefore re-assembly.
2Thehose can be wound around the housing
ofthe unit for convenience and located
behindthe accessory clip.

Emptying the tank
1To empty,pullout the latches on both
sides of the unit.
2Liftupthetankcover/motorunit.
3Depositthewastecontentsinabin
andliquidcontentsina suitable drain.

now ready touseagain.

Replacing the battery

2Pullout thebatteryholderand slowly remove

3Carefullypull and removethered(positive)
andblack (negative) wiresfrombattery
terminals.
4Replacered (positive)andblack(negative)
wiresonto the correspondingpositiveand
negativeterminals ofthenewbattery.
5Replacethe newbatteryintothe battery
compartment.Insert thebatteryholder
backtothecorrect position.
6Closethe batterydoor.
