This product has been designed to conform to the Safety Standard BS EN 12221-1:2000
This furniture is provided with an anti-topple device for securing to a wall. Failure to use this could
result in the furniture toppling onto the child.
A Mothercare changing mat is recommended for use with this dresser, with maximum dimensions of
81cm x 46cm (32 x 18in.) Place the mat evenly between the 4 top barriers.

This work is only to be carried out by a competent person. Because
of the diverse nature of walls, wall plugs and screws have not been
supplied with this anti-topple device. If you are at all unsure of the
type or suitability of the wall, or of the appropriate fixings for it, seek
professional advice.
Attach the wall strap to the pilot hole at the rear upper inside edge of
the side using the strap screw, inserted through one of the washers.
Place the furniture in its final position, adjacent to the wall, and fix to
the wall, using fixing and screw appropriate for that wall.

Attach the drawer back using 2 screw
bolts (40mm). Ensure the drawer
bottom locates in the groove, and the
dowels fit in the holes in the sides.

Hook the 2 wheels on each side of the
back of the drawers over the wheels of
the runners attached to the carcase

and open again smoothly.

Carefully lower the sides onto the
bottom, allowing the dowels and pins to
enter their correct holes, as deeply as
possible. Tighten the cams with a
screwdriver.

Slide the 2 back boards down the
grooves near the rear edge of the sides

arrows pointing upwards. Lower the
top gently onto the sides, allowing the

correct holes. The back panel must
also enter the groove to the rear of the
top. Tighten the cams.

With the chest on a level surface, slide
the narrow part of the back brackets
into the groove between the back and
the top and bottom. Tighten the
screws.

underside of the upstand sides with
thebolts at the edges of the top. 2)
Push the assembly towards the

the 2 sides. Notice the arrow on the

Read carefully
This dresser is not to be used for children over 12 months old or 9Kg, whichever comes first.
WARNING! Do not leave the child unattended.
All assembly fittings should be tightened properly. Screws and bolts should not be loose because a
child can squeeze parts of the body, or clothing (e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbons for babies dummies
etc.) could get caught. There would be a danger of strangulation.
Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires,
etc. in the near vicinity of the dresser.
An older child climbing on the dresser while a child is on the changing surface is extremely dangerous
and must be discouraged.
The dresser must be used on a level and stable surface.
Keep away from trailing cords, drapes or flexes, and away from electric sockets.
Never move the dresser with the child on it.
If any part is missing or broken, do not use the dresser until the correct spare part has been obtained
from Mothercare.
Your dresser can be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasives, bleach, alcohol or
ammonia based household polishes.
