Welcome
This spotlight has been carefully engineered and manufactured to give you dependable
operation. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your new product, as it
contains the information you need to become familiar with its features (shown below)
and obtain the performance that will bring your continued enjoyment for many years.
Please keep this manual on file for future reference.
CHARGING INSTRUCTION
Spotlight has a maintenance free, built in sealed lead acid battery. Although the unit arrives
partially charged from the factory, it MUST BE FULLY CHARGED FOR 20 HOURS
BEFORE FIRST USE. This initial charge pre-conditions the battery. Failure to follow this
procedure may permanently damage the battery.
Spotlight is supplied with an AC adaptor for charging from household wall socket (110 volt)
and a D.C. adaptor for charging from 12 volt vehicle lighter socket. Locate charging jack on
side of Spotlight and plug selected charger adaptor in. Plug into appropriate power source.
The red light located beside the jack will illuminate indicating Spotlight is charging. If the
indicator light fails to illuminate, check power source to make sure it is live. Light remains on
as long as it is connected to a power source.
Subsequent recharging will take approximately 18 hours with the AC adaptor and 12 hours
with the DC adaptor to reach full charge from discharged state. NOTE: Some vehicles'
cigarette lighters and 12 Volt power ports do not operate unless the ignition switch is in the
“accessory” position. Unit is not intended for permanent installation in a vehicle.
NOTE: AC Adaptor and Spotlight will become warm during charging.
When battery is fully charged both the red light and the green light will be illuminated.
Unplug charger after spotlight is fully charged. Wait 5 minutes before using. Battery will hold
its charge for a period of time. However, we recommend recharging your spotlight every 2
months if not in use.
Important note: Spotlight will not operate while in charging mode with both the AC charger
and with the DC charger.
