3. Klaar om te beginnen!
Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van uw mr. Safe GPS Bikelight.
We raden je ten zeerste aan om het toestel volledig op te laden alvorens het de
eerste keer in gebruik te nemen.
Verbind de bijgeleverde USB-laadkabel aan het ene eind met het GPS-Bikelight en de
andere zijde met een USB-stroombron (laptop, power bank, …) om het toestel op te
laden. De aansluiting bevindt zich onderaan het toestel, naast de multifunctionele
bedieningsknop. Het rode LED-lampje gaat branden als het toestel bezig is met
opladen. Wanneer het rode LED-lampje niet meer aan is, is het opladen voltooid.
Na het configureren van de SIM kaart, stuurt het toestel een sms wanneer de batterij
bijna leeg is: Notice: Low battery alert.
4. Het toestel inschakelen
Het mr. Safe GPS Bikelight is voorzien van een multifunctionele bedieningsknop
onderaan.
Druk één keer op de multifunctionele bedieningsknop om het continue LED licht in te
schakelen,
Druk tweemaal om het pulserend licht in te schakelen,
Druk driemaal om het toestel uit te schakelen. Twee seconden na het indrukken
wordt dit uitgevoerd.
5. Installatie SIM kaart en montage van het toestel
Het mr. Safe GPS Bikelight werkt enkel op SIM kaarten die geschikt zijn voor bellen
én internet. Zorg dat de GPRS functie en de Caller ID weergave-functie aanstaan en
dat de SIM kaart pincode vrij is. (Na het ontgrendelen van je SIM kaart in een
Smartphone kan je de pincode op de SIM kaart uitzetten.)

Om de SIM kaart in het toestel te installeren, verwijder je de twee schroefjes (1) en
het klepje aan de linkerzijde van het Bikelight.
Steek de SIM kaart in de voorziene gleuf volgens de sticker op het toestel.
Om te testen of de SIM kaart correct geïnstalleerd is, kan je het nummer van je SIM
kaart bellen. Als deze verbinding maakt met het nummer is de SIM kaart correct
geïnstalleerd.
Gebruik makend van de bijgeleverde fietsklem en schroevendraaier kan u het toestel
aan uw fiets bevestigen.
! Zorg dat de Multifunctie-toets en de USB-aansluiting zich aan de onderkant van
van het Bikelight bevinden bij het bevestigen aan de fiets !
6. Configuratie SIM kaart
Via enkele simpele SMS-berichten naar de SIM kaart in het toestel kan je het toestel
configureren:
SMS 1: APN instellingen
Om de APN instellingen aan te passen sms je: *apn*Axxx*Bxxx*Cxxx* waar Axxx
staat voor de APN naam, Bxxx de gebruikersnaam en Cxxx het paswoord.
Als er geen gebruikersnaam en paswoord in te geven zijn, sms je *apn*Axxx* waar
Axxx staat voor de APN naam.
Zodra de instellingen aangepast zijn krijg je een sms terug: Notice: APN is set to xxx.
User name: xxx. Password: xxx
In de onderstaande tabel kan je de gegevens voor de meest voorkomende
operatoren terugvinden. Indien u niet zeker bent, raadpleeg dan zeker de website
van je operator om deze instellingen terug te vinden.

SMS 2: Master nummer (alarm contactnummer) instellen
Het toestel gaat enkel reageren op instructies komende van het Master
telefoonnummer. Om dit in te stellen sms je:
*master*123456*+11XXXXXXXXXX* waar +11 staat voor je landcode, 123456 voor
het standaard wachtwoord en XXXXXXX staat voor je telefoonnummer
! Let er op dat je de landcode voor je telefoonnummer zet en de eerste 0 in je
telefoonnummer weglaat !
bv: [phone] voor NL en [phone] voor België
Als het master telefoonnummer ingesteld is krijg je een sms terug: Notice: Cell
Phone #xxxxxxxx is set to master controller, the password is xxxxxxx (waar xxxxxx
het algemene paswoord van het toestel is.
SMS 3 (optioneel): Wachtwoord veranderen
Om het paswoord te veranderen sms je: *password*xxxxxx* waar xxxxxx staat voor
het nieuwe paswoord.
Als het paswoord veranderd is krijg je een sms terug: Notice: The password change
is successful for +11XXXXXXX. The new password is xxxxxx.
7. Tracking
Om de tracking functie van je toestel in te schakelen sms je: *routetrack*99*. Je krijgt per
kerende een sms: Notice: Routetrack function is set to always on
Om de tracking functie uit te schakelen sms je: *routetrackoff*. Je krijgt een sms: Notice:
System has ended routetrack function.
Je kan de locatie van je fiets op twee manieren opvragen:
1. Via SMS:
SMS *locatemap* naar het GPS Bikelight om per kerende SMS een link naar de exacte
locatie op Google Maps te ontvangen.
2. Online
Door in te loggen op http://tracking.mrsafe.be met het master telefoonnummer en het
wachtwoord, kan je terugzien welke trajecten het GPS Bikelight afgelegd heeft.
8. Standaardinstellingen van het toestel:
i. Als het toestel niet in beweging is, wordt er standaard 1x per
72u locatie-informatie naar de server gestuurd
ii. Bij beweging wordt er 1x naar het master telefoonnummer
gebeld
iii. Als het toestel in beweging is, wordt de locatie-informatie
elke 10 seconden vastgesteld en 1x per minuut wordt deze
informatie doorgestuurd naar de server
iv. Om de batterij te sparen gaat het toestel na 12 minuten
zonder bewegingsdetectie in slaapstand. Zodra er weer
beweging is wordt het toestel weer actief

Congratulations with the purchase of your mr. Safe GPS Bikelight.
We strongly recommend you to charge the product completely before using it for
the first time.
Connect the included USB-charging cable with the GPS Bikelight on one end and a
USB-power source (laptop, power bank,…) to charge the product. The USB slot can
be found at the bottom of the product, next to the Multifunction-button. The LED
indicator will light up RED when the product is being charged. When the red LED is
off, the GPS Bikelight is completely charged.
After configuring the SIM card, the product will send a text message when the
battery is almost empty: Notice: Low battery alert.
4. Turning on the device
The mr. Safe GPS Bikelight is equipped with a multifunction-button on the bottom.
Press the multifunction-button once to turn on the continuous LED light,
Press twice to enable the pulsating LED light,
Press three times to turn off the device. Two seconds after pushing, the LED light will
turn off.
5. Installation SIM card and Mounting the device.
The mr. Safe GPS Bikelight only works on SIM cards that are suitable for calling and
internet. Make sure the GPRS function and Caller-ID function are enabled and that
your SIM card is pin code free. (After unlocking your SIM card in a smartphone, you
can enable the pin code requesting)
Remove the screws and the cover on the left side of the Bikelight and insert the SIM
card in the foreseen slot, according to the sticker.

To see if the SIM card is properly installed, you can call the number of your SIM card
with your phone. When a connection is established, the SIM card is correctly
installed.
Using the included Mounting Clamp and a screwdriver, you can mount the device
onto your bike:
! Make sure the Multifunction-button and the USB-slot are at the bottom of the
Bikelight when attaching it to the bike !
6. Configuration
The SIM card can be configured by sending a few simple text messages:
SMS 1: APN settings
To adapt the APN settings text: *apn*Axxx*Bxxx*Cxxx* where Axxx stands for the
APN name, Bxxx the user name and Cxxx the password.
If there is no user name or password, text *apn*Axxx* where Axxx stands for the
APN name.
Once the settings are adjusted, you will receive a text message: Notice: APN is set to
xxx. User name: xxx. Password: xxx
Consult the overview underneath for the most common operator data. If you are
not sure, we advise you to consult the website of your operator to find the settings.

SMS 2: Setting the Master number (alarm contact number)
The device will only respond to instructions from the Master phone number.
Text: *master*123456*+11XXXXXXXXXX* where +11 stands for your land code,
123456 for the standard password and XXXXXXX stands for your phone number
! Make sure you put the land code before your phone number and that you let out
the first 0 of your number !
e.g.: [phone] for NL an [phone] for Belgium
When the master number is set, you will receive a text message: Notice: Cell Phone
#xxxxxxxx is set to master controller, the password is xxxxxxx (where xxxxxx is the
password for the entire device.
SMS 3 (optional): Changing the password
To change the password text: *password*xxxxxx* where xxxxxx stands for the new
password.
When the password is changed, you will receive a text: Notice: The password change
is successful for +11XXXXXXX. The new password is xxxxxx.
7. Tracking
To enable the Tracking-function on your device text: *routetrack*99*.
You will receive a message: Notice: Routetrack function is set to always on
To disable the Tracking-function on your device text: *routetrackoff*.
You will receive a message: Notice: System has ended routetrack function.
You can locate your bike in two ways:

Text *locatemap* to the GPS Bikelight and receive a Google Maps link to the position of
GPS position of your bike.
4. Online
By logging in on http://tracking.mrsafe.be with your master number and the password,
you can consult all the trajectories that the GPS Bikelight has made.
8. Standard settings of the device:
i. When the device is not moving, the location-information will be sent once
every 72h to the server.
ii. When motion is detected, the GPS Bikelight will make one call to the master
number.
iii. When the device is in motion, the location-information will be determined
every 10 seconds and sent to the server once every minute.
iv. The device will go into Standby-mode to save the battery after 12 minutes of
rest. As soon as motion is detected again, the device will turn active again.
