yourPCdoctorthat candetect, viewand adjustthePChardwareand systemstatus
duringreal timeoperation.Intheleft side itshowsthe currentsystemstatus, including
theVcore,3.3V,+5Vand12V.Intheright sideitshowsthe currentPChardware
statussuchastheCPU&systemtemperaturesand all fansspeeds.
Whenyouclicktheredtrianglesin theleftand rightsides,twosub-menuswill open
foruserstooverclock,overspecortoadjustthethresholdsofsystemtosendout the
warningmessages. If youclick the CoreCenter buttononthe top,ascreen popsup
foryoutochoosethe “Auto mode”or “Usermode”of CPUfan. Youmayadjustthe
speedsofCPUfansand systemfanhere.

Intheleftsub-menu,youcanconfigurethesettingsof FSB, Vcore, MemoryVoltage
andAGPVoltage byclickingtheradio buttonin front ofeachitemandmakeitavailable
(theradiobutton will belitasyellowwhenselected),usethe “+”and “-”buttonsto
adjust, thenclick ok”toapplythechanges.Then youcanclick Save tosavethe
desiredFSB youjustconfigured.
Alsoyoumayclick Auto tostarttesting the maximalCPUoverclockingvalue,The
CPUFSBwillautomaticallyincreasethetestingvalueuntilthePCreboots.Oryoumay
click Default torestorethedefaultvalues.
Right-side:PChardwarestatusduringrealtimeoperation
Inthe rightsub-menu,hereyoucanconfigurethePChardwarestatussuchasCPU
&systemtemperaturesandfanspeeds.Youmayusethescroll barstoadjust each
item,then click ok”toapplythechanges.Thevaluesyousetforthetemperatures
arethemaximumthresholdsforthesystemforwarnings,and thevalueforfan
speedsaretheminimumthresholds.

ThemainboardsupportsdualAMD®Opteronprocessors. The mainboardusestwo
CPUsocketscalledSocket940foreasyCPUinstallation. You caninstallSINGLEor
DUALCPUsonthemainboardtomeet yourownneeds.Keepthefollowing pointsin
mindbeforeinstalling CPU(s).
1.If SINGLE CPUisintended,alwaysinstalltheCPUonthe CPU1 socket.
2. Toinstall DUAL CPUsonthe board,you mustuse thesametypeofCPUs
running atthesame frequency.
Whenyouareinstalling theCPU, make suretheCPUhasaHeatSinkanda
coolingfanattachedon thetop topreventoverheating. If you do notfind the
HeatSinkand cooling fan,contactyourdealertopurchaseand install thembefore
turning onthecomputer.

surethe cooling fancanworkproperlytoprotectthe CPUfrom
overheating.
The systemtemperatureneedstoremain under45°C.
Wehighlyrecommend thatthe directionofinletairshouldfollowthe
directionindicatedaboveforbettercoolingeffect.

1.Makesurethatthecomputeris
turnedoff, and thepowercorddis-
connectedbeforeinstallingtheCPU.
2.Pulltheleversidewaysaway
fromthesocket,and raiseitup toa
90-degreeangle.
3.Locatethecutedgeof theCPU.
WhentheCPUisinstalled intothe
socket, thiscutedgeshouldbe
alignedwiththecornermarkingan
arrowon the Socket940.
Pleasenotethatthe CPUcanonlyfit
inacorrectorientation, DONOTuse
forcetoinstalltheCPUintothe
socket.
4.PlacetheCPUontothesocketand
pressitdownfirmlyintothesocket.
Thepinsof the CPUshould beem-
beddedintothesocketcompletely.
5.ClosethelevertosecuretheCPU.
Donot closetheleveruntiltheCPU’s
pinsarefullyinserted;otherwise,
thepinsmaybedamaged.
