Overheating
Overheatingwill seriouslydamage the CPUand system.Always makesurethe
cooling fancan workproperlytoprotectthe CPUfromoverheating.Makesure
thatyouapplyaneven layerofthermalpaste(orthermaltape)betweenthe CPU
andtheheatsinktoenhanceheatdissipation.
ReplaceingtheCPU
WhilereplacingtheCPU,alwaysturnoff the ATXpowersupplyorunplug the
powersupply spowercordfromthegrounded outletfirsttoensurethe safetyof
CPU.
Overclocking
Thismainboardisdesignedtosupportoverclocking.However,pleasemake
sureyourcomponentsareabletotoleratesuchabnormalsetting, whiledoing
overclocking.Anyattempttooperatebeyond productspecificationsisnot
recommended. We donotguarantee thedamages orrisks causedbyinad-
equateoperationorbeyond productspecifications.

1. TheCPUsockethasaplasticcaponittoprotect thecontactfrom
damage.Beforeyou haveinstalled theCPU,always coveritto
protectthesocketpin.
2.Removethecapfromleverhingeside.
3.Thepinsofsocketreveal.
4.Open theloadlever.
5.Liftthe load leverupandopen theloadplate.
6.AfterconfirmingtheCPUdirection forcorrectmating,putdown
the CPUinthesockethousingframe.Besuretograspon theedge
oftheCPUbase.Notethatthealignmentkeys arematched.
7.VisuallyinspectiftheCPUisseated well intothesocket. Ifnot,
takeouttheCPUwithpureverticalmotionand reinstall.
8.Coverthe loadplateontothe package.
9.Pressdownthe loadleverlightlyontotheload plate,and then
securetheleverwiththehookunderretentiontab.
10.Align theholesonthemainboardwiththecooler.Pushdownthe
cooleruntil itsfourclipsgetwedgedintothe holesofthe
mainboard.
11. Press thefourhooks downtofasten thecooler. Thenrotatethe
locking switch(refertothe correct directionmarkedon it)tolock
thehooks.
12.Turnoverthe mainboardtoconfirmthattheclip-endsarecor-
rectlyinserted.

1.Read the CPUstatusinBIOS.
2.WheneverCPUisnotinstalled,alwaysprotectyourCPUsocketpinwiththe
plasticcapcoveredtoavoiddamaging.
3.Mainboardphotosshowninthissectionarefordemonstrationofthe CPU/

typeanddensity indifferentchannelDIMM slots.
-Toenablesuccessfulsystemboot-up, always insertthe memorymodulesintothe
DIMM1first.

Youcanfind thenotchonthememorymodulesand thevoltontheDIMM slotswhether
DDRorDDR2.Followtheproceduresbelowtoinstall thememorymoduleproperly.
1.The memorymoduleshasonlyone notchonthecenterandwillonlyfitintheright
orientation.
2.InsertthememorymoduleverticallyintotheDIMMslot.Thenpushitinuntilthe
goldenfingeronthememorymoduleisdeeplyinserted inthe DIMMslot.
3.Theplasticclipateachside oftheDIMMslot will automaticallyclose.
Important
Youcan barelysee the golden fingerif the memorymoduleisproperlyinserted in
theDIMMslot.
