WhenyouareinstallingtheCPU, makesuretheCPUhasacoolerattached on
thetop topreventoverheating. If youdonothavethecooler,contactyourdealer
topurchaseand install thembeforeturningon the computer.Meanwhile,do not
forgettoapplysomesilicon heattransfercompoundon CPUbeforeinstalling theheat
sink/coolerfanforbetterheatdispersion.Followthestepsbelowtoinstallthe CPU&
coolercorrectly.Wrong installation willcausethedamageofyourCPU&mainboard.
1.TheCPUhasalandsidecoveron
thebottomtoprotecttheCPUcon-
tact fromdamage.Rotateittomake
thepin1indicator(yellowtriangle)
in theright-bottomcorner.
2.Takeouttheaccompanying CPUClip
androtateitforthesamedirection
asthe CPU(Pin1indicatorisinthe
left-bottomcorner).
3.Use2handstoremovethe landside
cover(ifany).Pleasenotenotto
touchthepins.
4.Alignthetwopin1indicators(the
trianglesontheCPU&theCPUClip),
andusetheCPUClip toclip theCPU
up,pressing theclipsonbothsides
tothecenter,asthearrowsshown.
