2.- DSP Command Centre Software Installation and first steps
3.- Rigging system
4.- GENERAL OVERVIEW
Responding to the market demands: more powerful, reliable and
flexible reinforcement sound systems, MUSICSON presents
FALCON-212DA line-source; now with DSP Input module with the
most advanced technology powered with a unique 3rd generation
Class D power module
DSP module Software, Windows and MAC based, allows
professional FOH engineer to configure cabinets in a Daisy-chain
NETWORK to have full control for audio distribution over all
audience and a Real-Time on line Level and Limiters working
status monitoring.
With the addition of rear plate display, user can work with or without User Software to control
FALCON-212DA.
-Working without User Software, up to 10 Factory Presets splay angle dependant will be selectable to optimize each cabinet performance
acting over the encoder placed in rear panel together System Information Display. Input Gain can be also adjustable according to FALCON-
212DA Prediction Software.
-More advantages are present using FALCON-212DA User Software platform to configure and control each star networked cabinet.
Engineer can select between 10 Factory Presets, General Gain, use up to 10 Equalization Filters to adjust each individual cabinet in
Network, Input/Outputs Mute as well as a General Input delay up to 800ms. There are also available some Dynamics parameters: an Input
Limiter, and a fully configurable compressor including bar led status monitoring and compressor activity, including power module
Temperature and each output channel Load Impedance Monitoring with Musicson Dsp Control Software.
There is a locked not user configurable FACTORY SOFTWARE already implemented with speaker dependent processing such as X-Over
filtering, individual way Equalization to optimize Frequency and Phase responses, time alignment and Dynamics.
However, with Musicson Dsp Control Software, Engineer is allowed via network connection to remote control and on line monitoring signals
and levels in of each cabinet including Advanced Grouping functions.
MUSICSON FALCON-212DA cabinet features a powerful 6000W peak 3rd generation Class D power module. The Switch Mode Power
Supply includes automatic voltage selection with an operation voltage range from 85V to 268V delivering consistent power world-wide, fully
self-protected and capable to power another FALCON-212 passive cabinet.
New optimized components speakers has been specially designed for FALCON-212A cabinet with a powerful Neodymium magnet
structures, deliver high SPL output with an optimized distortion levels for any kind of application. Mid and High ways are loaded with
optimized horns, wooden made, for a cleaner and more transparent sound reproduction.
-2 x 12” Low Freq. speakers are assembled with a Double-sided 3” voice coil to optimize cooling through metal pieces and mechanical
strength.
-2 x 6” Mid. Transducers uses a special treatment above and below cone increasing stiffness and reducing harmonic distortion due air
chamber pressure at very high power levels. Assembled also in a powerful Neodymium structure to achieve higher SPL levels and
cleaner voice reproduction.
-3 x 1.75” polymer diaphragm compression drivers assembled in a powerful Neodymium magnet structure coupled to a wooden made
waveguide delivering a slightly curved wavefront. Polymer diaphragm increases very high frequency response with less distortion
than metallic ones but increasing lifespan due to higher resistance to mechanical fatigue. Waveguide has been constructed with
wood for a more natural and cleaner sound reproduction.
Using a proprietary, unique design and assembling methods, rigging system remain inside the box avoiding the view of any aesthetic
elements.
