INTRODUCTION
MUSICSON's FR range comprises four cabinets in passive and their
equivalent in selfpowered, conceived as multipurpose full range speakers.
All models are equiped with a high frequency compression 1.75" driver made
from a special polymer that produces less deformation than other materials,
avoiding typical distortion at 2-4 Khz band and enlarging its useful life.
Selfpowered models of the FR-512 (12" and driver) and FR-615 (15" and
driver) are biamplified allowing a better performance and giving more control
over the power.
Selfpowered models of the FR-208 (8" and driver) and FR-310 (10" and
driver) are provided with switched mode power supply, that ensures the
maximum power with the minimum weight.
Each cabinet is also equiped with a 90 degrees rotatable horn, that allows
an horizontal placement.
All models of the FR line have a reinforced plastic finish called poliurea,
that confers higher resistance to mecanic friction. This kind of painting, not
often used in the audio sector for the complexity of its application, gives
cohesion between the multilayer plywood sides of the cabinet due to its
plastic base.
For this new line, MUSICSON has developed a complet range of hardware
accesories that allows the placement of the speakers almost anywhere,
making easier any installation: 35mm diameter stands, wall brackets and
two or three speakers cluster adaptor.

Handle with care.
High pressure sound levels can induce hearing lost. To give you an
idea of the diferent levels of amplitude, read the following chart.
If you experience any symptom related to this audition loss please consult
an audiologist.
- Read carefully this manual and follow the given instructions.
- Keep this instructions.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched,
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they
exit from the loudspeaker
- Use only attachments or accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused
for long periods of time.
- This unit produces heat when operated normally. Operate in a
well-ventilated area.
- Although its almost hermetic finish, please avoid direct contact with water.

Speakers inside FR series can transform a considerable amount of
energy that can be transmited as movement; keep special attention where
you place the loudspeakers in order to avoid falling damages. Use only
accesories designed by the manufacturer.
Selfpowered models of the FR line have a three pole mains connector
with locking system. In the package you will find a power cable with this kind
of connector on one side and a schuko type on the other.
Optionally you can acquire a link cable to supply power to the prior or
following cabinets.
Allways use our products with a good ground connection. Never leave
unconnected the green-yellow coded wire.
Mains connector for 220VAC 50/60Hz is a POWERCON NAC3MPA that
can handle a 20 amperes intensity. This kind of connector is only well plugged
when you rotate it clockwise and you fell the "click". Each model has link
connector (AC output) to feed other loudspeakers. For a consumption matter
never link more than six FR cabinets.
Locking system steps.

The XLR-3 in and out connectors have the following conection code.
pin 1 ---- GROUND
pin 2 ---- HOT (+)
pin 3 ---- COLD (-)
In order to achieve de best sound quality and avoid problems, please
ensure that the correct tension (voltage & frequency) is applied to the unit.
Nominal tension for the FR series is between 220-240 volts and 50-60 Hz.
Power drops will seriously affect the performance of the system. Correct
frequency is also needed, as it affects the main filtering of the electronic
circuits.
In order to avoid undesired clicks and pops that could affect your
speakers adversely, make sure to turn on first all the devices plugged before
the speakers such as mixing consoles, equalizers, noise gates, dynamic
processors and effects and turn everything off in the reverse order.
Electronics on your FR line are adjusted to achieve the optimal
performance with 0dB of output signal from the mixing desk, as long as none
of the input chanels is overloaded . Above this thershold, dynamics controlllers
on the FR electronics will avoid a higher pressure level and the quality of
sound will degenerate.

WAVEGUIDE
All models of the FR line are equipped with a 90
degrees rotatable horn for the high filter way that allows
placement of the speaker either in vertical or horizontal
position.
Follow this steps to rotate the horn:
-unscrew grid and horn
-Redirect the horn according to your needings
-screw horn and grid
Pay attention not to loose the screws.

ACCESORIES
FR line from MUSICSON has a range of complements and accesories that
allows placement of the speakers almost in any position. For that purpose,
cabinets are equipped with a 35mm hat and M8 inserts.
As optional complements, you can acquire wall support brackets, eyebolts
sets, stand supports and twin adapters for FR - 208 (or FR-208A). You can
also install a multi speaker frame that respects correct dispersion when
rigged.
