1.1. I
NTRODUCTION
The refrigerants used for air conditioners are encironmentally friendly hydrocarbons R32 and R290. The two kinds of refrigerants
are combustible and odorless. Moreover, the can burn and ex lode under certain condition. However, there will be no risk of
burning and ex losion if you com ly with hte following table to install your air conditioner in a room with an a ro riate area
and use it correctly.
Com ared with ordinary refigerants, Refrigerants R32 & R290 are environmentally friendly and do not destroy the ozone s here
and that their valyes of greenhouse oeffect are also very low.

AFETY RULES
•
Read this guide before installing and using the
a liance.
•
Make sure the base of the outdoor unit is firmly and
securely mounted.
•
After installing the kit air conditioner, test cycle and
save o erational data.
•
Check that the outlet is ro erly grounded, change it
in any case.
•
When working on terminals, all ower circuits must
be disconnected from the ower su ly.
•
Children must not have access to the assembly area
when installing indoor or outdoor units.
•
The indoor unit of the air conditioner must be
rotected against various ty es of overvoltage by a
safe device.
•
The ratings of the fuse installed in the built in control
unit ate T 5A / 250V.
•
The air conditioner must be installed by rofessional
or qualified ersons.
•
Check that the system is airtight and that there is no
air or refrigerant in it.
•
Make sure that the mains voltage corres onds to the
voltage on the ty e late of the device. Kee the lug
and cables clean. The ower lug must be ro erly
inserted into the socket, it should be firmly ressed
into the socket to avoid the risk of electric shock or
fire.
•
Cleaning and maintenance requires the use of
qualified ersons. Before roceeding, first disconnect
the device from the ower su ly.
•
The a liance must be fitted with means for
disconnection from the su ly mains having a contact
se aration in all oles that rovide full disconnection
under overvoltage category III condtions, and these
means must be incor orated in the fixed wiring in
accordance with the wiring rules.
Do not install the device near flammable substances (alcohol
etc.) or ressure containers (e.g. aerosol cans).
•
If the unit is to be installed in a non-ventilated area,
a ro riate recautions should be taken to revent
refrigerant leakage into the environment that could
cause a fire.
•
The ackaging materials are recyclable and should be
dis osed of in the se arate waste bins. Take the air
conditioner at the end of its useful lige to a s ecial
waste collection centre for dis osal.
Air conditioners should only be used in accordance with the
o erating instructions. This manual covers all ossible
conditions and situations that may occur.
•
Never install the air conditioner yourself, always
contact s ecialized technical ersonnel.
•
The air conditioner fla , res onsible for the direction
of air flow (shutter), in heating devices must be
armed down, and during cooling mode - u .
•
The air conditioner should always be set to the most
suitable tem erature for the revailing climatic
conditions.
•
The batteries in the remote control should be
dis osed of in a suitable container with recycling
materials.

•
This a liance can be used by children aged from 8
yeras and above and ersons with reduced hysical,
sensory or mental ca abilities or lack of ex erience
and knowledge if they have been given su ervision or
instruction concerning use of the a liance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not lay with the a liance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by childen without
su ervision.
•
Un lug the device and set the air louver ro erly if
you do not intend to use it for a long time.
•
If the a liance gives off smoke or there is a smell of
burning, immediately cut off the ower su ly and
contact the service center.
•
Do not ul out the lug to switch off the a liance
when it is in o eration, since this could create a s ark
and cause a fire, etc.
•
This a liance has been made for air conditioning
domestic environments and must not be used for any
other ur ose, such as for dying clothes, cooling
food, etc.
•
All re airs are carried out only by the manufacturer's
authorized service. Incorrect re airs by unqualified
ersons may ex ose you to the risk of electric shock
and ro erty damage.
•
The user is res onsible for installing the unit by a
qualified technician who must check that the air
conditioner is grounded in accordance with a licable
standards and regulations. The technician should
install a thermomagnetic switch.
•
Never remain directly ex osed to the flow of cold air
for a long time. The direct and rolonged ex osition
to cold air could be dangerous for you health.
Particular care should be taken in the rooms where
there are children, old or sick eo le.
•
Always use the device with an air filter fitted.
Otherwise, it can be used for excessive accumulation
of dust on the connected equi ment of the air
conditioner, which may result in its use.

MPORTANT RECOMMENDATIONS AND CAUTIONS
•
Do not use extensions or gang modules.
•
Do not leave windows or doors o en for long when
the air conditioner is o erating.
•
Do not climb onto or lace any heavy or hot objects
on to of the a liance.
•
Do not bend, ull or squeeze the machine's ower
cord, doing so may damage it. If the electric wire is
damaged, contact the service de artment to re lace
it. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock or fire.
•
Do not touch devices with wet or dam hands.
•
Do not obstruct the air inlet and outlet of the air
conditioner and outdoor unit. Blocking them will
reduce the efficiency of the devices as well as failures
and damage.
•
Do not install the a liance in environments where
the air could contain gas, oil or sul hur or near
sources of heat.
•
The device may not be used by children under 8 years
of age, mentally or hysically handica ed ersons
and ersons without the use of ex erience and
knowledge.
•
Long and direct ex osure of the cold air stream to
lants and animals can have a negative effect.
•
Do not install the device in wet and humid laces (e.g.
bathroom). Electrical insulation can be damaged and
cause an electric shock.
•
Do not aim the air conditioner at the lants and
animals.
•
Do not insert any things into the device, it may cause
body injury.

6. O
PERATING THE DEVICE
6.1. AUTO-RESTART
FUNCTION
The a liance is resent auto-restart function by
manufacturer. In case of a sudden ower failure, the module
memorizes the setting conditions bedore the ower failure.
When the ower restores, the unit restarts automatically with
all revious settings reserved by the memory function.
• To deactivate the AUTO-RESTART function, proceed as
follows.
1. Switch the air conditioner off and lug it off.
2. Press the emergency button meanwhile lug it in.
3. Kee ressing the emergency button for more than
10 seconds until you head four short bee s from the
unit. The AUTO-RESTART function is deactivate.
• To activate the AUTO-RESTART function, follow the same
procedure until you hear three short beeps from the unit.
6.2. E
MERGENCY FUNCTION
If the remote controller fails to work or maintenance
necessary, roceed as follows. O en and lift the front anel u
to an angle to reach the emergency button.
1. One ress of the emergency button (one bee ) will
lead to the forced cooling o eration.
2. Two ress of the emergency button within 3 sec (two
bee s) will lead to the forced heating o eration.
3. To switch off the unit, you just need to ress the
button again (a single long bee ).
4. After 30 minutes in forced o eration, the air
conditioner will automatically start working in 23°C
cooling mode, aut fan s eed.
•
The shape and position of the emergencybutton may be different according to the model, but their function is the
same.
•
The external static pressure of heat pumps is 0 Pa for all models.

required time, lease ress this button again to fix the time

7.2. R
EPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES
Remove the battery cover late from the rear of the remote controller,
by sliding it in the direction of the arrow. Install the battteries according
the direction (+ and -) shown on the remote controller.
•
Use 3 AAA (1.5V) batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Re lace the old batteries with new ones of the same ty e
when the dis lay is no longer legible.
•
When you o en the battery cover, you can see DIP switch on
the cover back.

PERATION
When you insert the batteries for the first time in the remote controller or if you change
them, you need to rogram the remote controller of only cooling or cooling and heating.

When you insert the batteries the symbols (COOL) i (HEAT) start flashing. If you
ush whatever button when the symbol (COOL) is dis layed, the remote controller
is adjusted in only cooling mode.
•

f you adjust the remote controller in cooling mode, it will not be possible to activate the heating function in units
with heating pump. You need to take out the batteries and repeat the procedure described above.

control and the signal rece tor in the indoor unit.
3. Never leave the remote controller ex osed to the rays of
the sun.
4. Kee the remote controller at a distance of at least 1m
from the relevision or other electrical a liances.

EVICE FUNCTIONS
The air sucked by the fan enters from the frill and asses through
the filter, then it is cooled/dehumidified or heated through the heat
exchanger.
The direction of the air outlet is motorized u and down by fla s,
and manually moved righ and left by the vertical deflectos, for
some models, the verical deflectors could be controlled by motor as
well.
8.1. SWING
–
CONTROL OF THE AIR FLOR
It is ossible to set the air direction o timally.
The key (SWING) activates the FLAP, the air flow is directed
alternatively from u to down. In order to guarantee an even
diffusion of the air in the room.
The key (SWING) activates the motorized deflectors the air flow is
directed alternatively from left to right.
•
In cooling mode, orient the fla s in horizontal direction.
•
In heating mode, orient the fla s downward as the warm
air tends to rise.
The deflectors are ositioned manually and laced under the fla s.
They allow to direct the air flow rightward or leftward.
•
Never position FLAPS manually, the delicate mechanism
might seriously damaged!

Never poke fingers, sticks or ther objects in the air inlet
or outlet vents. Such accidental contact with live pants
might cause unforeseeable damage or hurt.
8.2. C
OOLING MODE
The cooling function allows the air conditioner to cool the room and
at the same time reduces air humidity.
To activate the cooling function (COOL) , ress the (MODE)
button until the symbol (COOL) a ears on the dis lay.
The cooling function is activated by setting the button or at a
tem erature lower than that of the room.
To o timize the function of the air conditioner, adjust the
tem erature, the s eed and direction of the air flow by ressing the
button indicated.
8.3. H
EATING MODE
The heating function allows the air conditioner to heat the room.
To activate the heating function (HEAT), ress the (MODE) button
until the symbol (HEAT) a ears on the dis lay.
With the button or set a tem erature higher than that of the
room.
To o timize the function of the air conditioner adjust the
tem erature, the s eed and the direction of the air flow by ressing
the button indicated.
•
n HEAT NG operation, the appliance can automatically activate a defrost cycle, which is essential to clean the
frost on the condenser so as to recover its heat exchange function. This procedure usually lasts for 2-10 minutes

8.4. TIMER

To rogram the automatical switching-on time, the a liance should be
ower off.

Press (TIMER) at the first time, set the tem erature with
ressing the button or .

Press (TIMER) at the second time, set the rest time with
ressing the button or .
Press (TIMER) at the third time, confirm the setting, then the rest time
to next automatical switching-on could be read on the dis lay
NOTE
Before roceeding with the time: rogram the working mode with the button (MODE) and the fan s eed with the button (FAN).
Switch the conditioner off (with the key ON/OFF).
•
To cancel the setted function, ress the (TIMER) button again.
•
In case of ower off, it is necessary to set (TIMER) ON again.

To set the FAN mode, ress (MODE) untill (FAN) a ears in the
dis lay.
Whith ressing (FAN) button the s eed changes in the following
sequence: LOW/ MEDIUM/ HIGH/ AUTO in FAN mode.
The remote control also stores the s eed that was set in the revious
mode of o eration.
In FEEL mode (automatic) the air condifioner automatically chooses
the fan s eed and the mode of o eration (COOLING or HEATING).
8.7. D
RY MODE
This function reduces the humidity of the air to make the room more
comfortable.
To set the DRY mode, ress (MODE) utill (DRY) a ears in the
dis lay. An automatic function of alternating cooling cycles and air fan
is activated.
The function of alternating o eration of the air conditioner in the
COOLING and FAN functions will be activated.

8.8. FEEL
–
AUTOMATIC MODE
To activate the FEEL (automatic) mode of o eration, ress the (MODE)
button on the remote controller until the symbol (FEEL) a ears on
the dis lay.
In FEEL mode the fan s eed and the tem erature are set automatically
according to the room tem erature (tested by the tem erature sensor
which is incor orated in the indoor unit).

8.9. SLEEP
MODE
To activate the SLEEP mode of o eration, ress the (SLEEP) button on
the remote controller until the symbol (AUTOQUIET) a eats on
the dis lay. The function SLEEP automatically adjusts the tem erature
to make the room more comfortable during the night. In cooling or
dry mode, the set tem erature will automatically raise by 1°C every
60 minutes, to achieve a total rise of 2°C during the first 2 hours of
o eration.
In heating mode the set tem erature is gradually decreased by 2°C
during the first 2 hours of o eration.
After 10 hours running in slee mode the air conditioner is switched
off automatically.
The air conditioner is rogrammed for comfotable and suitable living conditions, if it is used in abnormal conditioner as below,
certain safety rotection features might come into effect.
