NORMAL BLOOD PRESSURE FLUCTUATION
Allphysicalacvity,excitement,stress,eang,drinking,
smoking,bodypostureandmanyotheracviesorfactors
(includingtakingabloodpressuremeasurement)will
inuencebloodpressurevalue.Becauseofthis,itismostly
unusualtoobtainidencalmulplebloodpressurereadings.
Bloodpressureuctuatesconnually,dayandnight.The
highestvalueusuallyappearsinthedaymeandlowestone
usuallyatmidnight.Typically,thevaluebeginstoincreaseat
around3:00AM,andreachestohighestlevelinthedayme
whilemostpeopleareawakeandacve.
Consideringtheaboveinformaon,itisrecommendedthat
youmeasureyourbloodpressureatapproximatelythesame
meeachday.
Measuringtoofrequentlymaycauseinjuryduetoblood
owinterference.Pleasealwaysrelaxforaminimumof
1to1.5minutesbetweenmeasurementstoallowtheblood
circulaoninyourarmtorecover.Itisrarethatyouobtain
idencalbloodpressurereadingseachme.

 isdetectedintheprocedureofbloodpressuremeasurement,

 Sphygmomanometercankeepfuncon,buttheresultsmaynotbe
 accurate,it’ssuggestedthatyouconsultwithyourphysicianfor
 accurateassessment.
 Thereare2condionsunderwhichthesignalofIHBwillbe

 1) Thecoecientofvariaon(CV)ofpulseperiod>25%.
 2) Thedierenceofadjacentpulseperiod≥0.14s,andthenumber

  numberofpulse.

• Whenthescreenshowsthebaerysymbolreplaceall
baerieswithnewones.
• Rechargeablebaeriesarenotsuitableforthismonitor.
• Removethebaeriesifthemonitorwillnotbeusedfora
monthormoretoavoidrelevantdamageofbaeryleakage.
• Avoidthebaeryuidgengintoyoureyes.Ifitshouldget
inyoureyes,immediatelyrinsewithplentyofcleanwaterand
contactaphysician.
Thenegaveterminalofthebaeryneedstobecompressedinto
thebaerycompartmentproperlyaerhorizontalcompression
ofthenegaveelectrode.Thebaeryisincontactwiththespring

2. CLOCK AND DATE ADJUSTMENT

 adjustmentcanbereachedbypressingthe“START/STOP”buonfor
 3secondsinStandbyMode.
c. InClockandDateAdjustmentMode,themeformatwillblinkat
 rst,Pressthebuon“MEM”canchangemeformat.Pressthe
 buon“START”repeatedly,theyear,month,day,hourandminute
 willblinkinturn(seepicture2-2&2-3&2-4&2-5&2-6).Whilethe
 numberisblinking,pressthebuon“MEM”toincreasethenumber.
 Keeponpressingthebuon"MEM",thenumberwillincrease
 rapidly.

Insertthecutubingconnectorintothesocketonthelesideofthe
monitor.Ensurethattheconnectoriscompletelyinsertedtoavoidair
leakageduringbloodpressuremeasurements.
Avoidcompressionorrestriconoftheconnecontubingduring
measurement,whichmaycauseinaonerror,orharmfulinjurydueto
connuouscupressure.
4. APPLYING THE CUFF
a. Pullingthecuendthroughthemetalloop
 (thecuispackagedlikethisalready),turnitoutward
 (awayfromyourbody)andghtenitandclosetheVelcrofastener.
b. Placethecuaroundabarearm1-2cmabovetheelbowjoint.
c. Whileseated,placepalmupsideinfrontofyou
 onaatsurfacesuchasadeskortable.
 Posiontheairtubeinthemiddleofyourarm
 inlinewithyourmiddlenger.
d. Thecushouldtcomfortably,yetsnuglyaroundyourarm.You
 shouldbeabletoinsertonengerbetweenyourarmandthecu.

8. DELETING MEASUREMENTS FROM THE MEMORY
Whenanyresultisdisplayed,holdthe“MEM”buonforthreeseconds,
andallresultswillbedeleted.Pressthe“MEM”or“START”buonand
themonitorwillturno.
9. ASSESSING HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE FOR ADULTS
Thefollowingguidelinesforassessinghighbloodpressure(without
regardtoageorgender)havebeenestablishedbytheWorldHealth
Organizaon(WHO).Pleasenotethatotherfactors(e.g.diabetes,
obesity,smoking,etc.)needtobetakenintoconsideraon.Consult
withyourphysicianforaccurateassessment,andneverchangeyour
treatmentbyyourself.
ShouldtheBloodPressureReadingsbeofsuchanaturethatitisof
concern,consultahealthcareprofessionalforadvice.

10. TECHNICAL ALARM DESCRIPTION
Themonitorwillshow'HI'or'Lo'astechnicalalarmonthescreen
withnodelayifthedeterminedbloodpressure(systolicordiastolic)
isoutsidetheratedrangespeciedinSPECIFICATIONS.Inthiscase,
youshouldconsultaphysicianorcheckifyouroperaonviolatedthe
instrucons.
Thetechnicalalarmcondion(outsidetheratedrange)ispresetinthe
factoryandcannotbeadjustedordeacvated.Thisalarmcondionis
assignedaslowpriorityaccordingtoIEC60601-1-8.
Thetechnicalalarmisnon-latchinganddoesnotneedtobereset.The
signaldisplayedonthescreenwilldisappearautomacallyaerabout
8seconds.
