Overview of the Myfox System
The Myfox main unit is the brain of your system. It uses the Internet to communicate with the various
accessoriesandMyfoxservers.
•The main unit is powered by the mains and connected by an Ethernet work to your Internet router
(ADSL,cable,ber,orsatellite).
•Alloftheaccessoriescommunicatewirelessly(byradiofrequency)withthemainunit.
•ThecameraispoweredbythemainsandcommunicatesdirectlywithyourInternetrouter,eitherbywire
(Ethernet)orwirelessly(WiFi).

About your main unit
Where should you set up your main unit?
Ideally,youshouldinstallthemainunitneartheInternetrouterandconnectitusingthesuppliedEthernet
cable.
ThankstotheCPLnetworkoutlets,themainunitcanbemovedanywhereinthehome.
Youcaninstallthemainunitator onawall,asfarawayaspossiblefromanythingthatcouldpotentially
disruptthequalityofitsradiosignal(monitor,computer,powermeter,etc.).
Choosesomeplaceoutofviewtoavoiddrawingtheattentionofapotentialintruder.

1. Log into https://myfox.me/start from your web browser (Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and follow the
instructions.
2. ReadandaccepttheTermsandConditions,whichcanbeviewedatanytimeathttps://myfox.me/legal/cgv
3. Enteryourcontactinformationandanemailaddress,andthencreateyourpassword.Next,entertheSN1
andSN2serialnumbersthatappearonthebottomofthemainunit.
4.Connecttheunitaccordingtotheinstructionsdisplayedduringthesetupphase.

Therearethreelevelsofprotection:
• Disabled:Thesystemisinstandbymode.Unlessotherwisepersonalized,noalertsorsirensaretriggered
ifadoorisopenedorifmotionisdetected.
• Partial:Onlysomeofthesensorsareactive.Unlessotherwisepersonalized,onlytheperimeterprotection
(IntelliTAG™)isenabled.Youcanmoveaboutfreely,whileremainingprotected(idealforprotectingyourself
atnight,forexample).
•Total:Allofthedetectorsareactiveandwilltriggeranalertandsounddeterrentifdetectionoccurs.
YoucanadjustadvancedpersonalizationsettingsforMyfoxbygoingtotheMySystemmenuandadjusting
thesettingstosuityourneeds,including:
• The sound behaviorofthesystemduringchangestotheprotectionlevel
•The time delay you have when leaving your home during which you can return before the protection

thenclickthegreenAddEquipmentbuttonatthetopright.
2. Select the accessory to be installed from one of the following categories: main unit, security, cameras,
sensors&detectors,automation,andheating.
3. Followthestep-by-stepinstructions:pairtheaccessorywiththemainunit,insertthebatteries,followthe
installationandcongurationtips,andnametheaccessory.
4. Repeatthesestepsforeachaccessorytobepairedwithyourmainunit.
