Overview of the Myfox System
The Myfox main unit is the brain of your system. It uses the Internet to communicate with the various
accessoriesandMyfoxservers.
•The main unit is powered by the mains and connected by an Ethernet work to your Internet router
(ADSL,cable,ber,orsatellite).
•Alloftheaccessoriescommunicatewirelessly(byradiofrequency)withthemainunit.
•ThecameraispoweredbythemainsandcommunicatesdirectlywithyourInternetrouter,eitherbywire

Where should you set up your main unit?
Ideally,youshouldinstallthemainunitneartheInternetrouterandconnectitusingthesuppliedEthernet
cable.
ThankstotheCPLnetworkoutlets,themainunitcanbemovedanywhereinthehome.
Youcaninstallthemainunitator onawall,asfarawayaspossiblefromanythingthatcouldpotentially
disruptthequalityofitsradiosignal(monitor,computer,powermeter,etc.).
Choosesomeplaceoutofviewtoavoiddrawingtheattentionofapotentialintruder.

• Disabled:Thesystemisinstandbymode.Unlessotherwisepersonalized,noalertsorsirensaretriggered
ifadoorisopenedorifmotionisdetected.
• Partial:Onlysomeofthesensorsareactive.Unlessotherwisepersonalized,onlytheperimeterprotection
(IntelliTAG™)isenabled.Youcanmoveaboutfreely,whileremainingprotected(idealforprotectingyourself
atnight,forexample).
•Total:Allofthedetectorsareactiveandwilltriggeranalertandsounddeterrentifdetectionoccurs.

What happens if the Internet connection is lost?
IftheInternetconnectionislost,theMyfoxserverswillnotifyyou,dependingonthealertmodeyouselected
inthe"MyAlerts"tab.Theanti-intrusionandsirenfunctionsstillremainactive,eveniftheInternetconnection
is lost.
IfyouhaveinstalledaGPRSkey,itwilltakeoverafterafewsecondssothatyourmainunitremainsconnected
atalltimes.
I forgot my password. How can I recover it?
Ifyouforgotyourpassword,youcanresetitfromthewebinterface(https://myfox.me).Afterthreeerrors,
youmustwaitonehourbeforetryingyourpasswordagain.
