VORSICHT! Elektrische Spannung!
Im Innern des Geräts benden sich ungeschützte spannungsführende Bau-
teile. Die VDE-Bestimmungen beachten. Alle zu montierenden Leitungen
spannungslos schalten und Sicherheitsvorkehrungen gegen unbeabsich-
tigtes Einschalten treffen. Das Gerät bei Beschädigung nicht in Betrieb
nehmen Das Gerät bzw. die Anlage außer Betrieb nehmen und gegen unbe-
absichtigten Betrieb sichern, wenn anzunehmen ist, dass ein gefahrloser
Betrieb nicht mehr gewährleistet ist. Das Gerät ist ausschließlich für den
sachgemäßen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei jeder unsachgemäßen Änderung
oder Nichtbeachten der Bedienungsanleitung erlischt jeglicher Gewähr-
leistungs- oder Garantieanspruch. Nach dem Auspacken ist das Gerät

Product description
Il lettore di impronte digitali con funzione RFID per montag-
gio sopra intonaco è un terminale biometrico che registra
le impronte digitali utilizzando un sensore di linea RF di
Authentec. Lo scanner di impronte digitali viene utilizzato
anche come terminale RFID in abbinamento a schede RFID.
The surface mount ngerprint reader equipped with
RFID functionality is a biometric sensor terminal which
detects ngerprints by using an RF line sensor from
Authentec. It is also used as RFID terminal working in
combination with RFID cards.

DE Montage:
Der Fingerprint-Leser ist für die ortsfeste Aufputz-
montage an unbeweglichen Teilen und für den Ein-
satz im ungeschützten Außenbereich im Heim- und
Gewerbebereich vorgesehen.

ssi e per l‘impiego in aree esterne non protette nel
settore residenziale e commerciale.
EN Mounting:
The ngerprint reader is intended for xed surfa-
ce-mounting on immovable parts and for use in
unprotected outdoor spaces in residential and com-
mercial buildings.

DE Anschluss:
Die Lesegeräte werden über RS485 2-Draht am
myGEKKO Gebäuderegler angeschlossen.
Es dürfen maximal 8 Lesegeräte pro Schnittstelle
verwendet werden.
Wenn Sie den Leser über den myGEKKO RS485-USB
Konverter anschließen, muss ein 1kΩ Pull-down-Wi-
derstand (zwischen RS485-B/- und GND) und ein
10kΩ Pull-up-Widerstand (zwischen RS485-A/+ und
+24V DC) angeschlossen werden.
Bei direktem Anschluss an eine myGEKKO COM-
Port wird kein Pull-down und Pull-up Widerstand
benötigt. Falls nötig, muss am letzten Leser auch ein
Abschluss-Widerstand von 120Ω (wurde mitgeliefert)
angeschlossen werden. Beachten Sie hierzu die
allgemeinen RS485 Richtlinien.
IT Collegamento:
I lettori sono collegati al controller dell‘edicio my-
GEKKO tramite RS485 a 2 li.
È possibile utilizzare un massimo di 8 lettori per
interfaccia.
Se si collega il lettore tramite il convertitore my-
GEKKO RS485-USB, sarà necessario un resistore
di pull-down da 1kΩ (tra RS485-B/- e GND) e un
resistore di pull-up da 10kΩ (tra RS485-A/+ e +24V
CC) collegato.
Con un collegamento diretto a un‘interfaccia COM
myGEKKO, non sono necessarie resistenze di pull-
down e pull-up. Se necessario, all‘ultimo lettore deve
essere collegata anche una resistenza di terminazio-
ne da 120Ω (in dotazione). Si prega di notare le linee
guida generali RS485.
EN Connection:
The readers are connected to the myGEKKO building
controller via RS485 2-wire.
A maximum of 8 readers may be used per interface.
If you connect the reader via the myGEKKO RS485-
USB converter, a 1kΩ pull-down resistor (between
RS485-B/- and GND) and a 10kΩ pull-up resistor
(between RS485-A/+ and +24V DC ) to be connected.
With a direct connection to a myGEKKO COM inter-
face, no pull-down and pull-up resistors are required.
If necessary, a 120Ω terminating resistor (supplied)
must also be connected to the last reader. Please
note the general RS485 guidelines.

DE Konguration:
In der Übersicht des Systems „Zutritt“ mit dem Zahn-
rad oben rechts in die IO-Kongurationen wechseln.
Dort „Fingerprint“ als Lesertyp auswählen und die
Schnittstelle, an der der Leser angeschlossen ist,
angeben. Auf „>>“ drücken und initialisieren. Nach
2 Minuten scheint die Seriennummer auf und die
Einrichtung des Lesers ist abgeschlossen. Achtung,
bevor initialisiert wird, alle Leser an derselben Schnitt-
stelle trenne und nur den einzukongurierenden Leser
anschließen.

Nella panoramica del sistema „Accesso“, passare
alle congurazioni IO con la ruota dentata in alto a
destra. Selezionare „Fingerprint“ come tipo di lettore
e specicare l‘interfaccia a cui è collegato il lettore.
Premere „>>“ e inizializzare. Dopo 2 minuti, viene
visualizzato il numero di serie e la congurazione del
lettore è completa. Attenzione, prima di inizializzare,
scollegare tutti i lettori sulla stessa interfaccia e
collegare solo il lettore da congurare.
EN Conguration:
In the overview of the „Access“ system, switch to the
IO congurations with the cog wheel at the top right.
Select „Fingerprint“ as the reader type and specify
the interface to which the reader is connected. Press
„>>“ and initialize. After 2 minutes, the serial number
appears and the reader setup is complete. Caution,
before initializing, disconnect all the readers on the
same interface and connect only the reader to be
congured.
