Inbody 270 & Raspberry Pi Setup Instructions
Step 1: Please check that you’ve received all of the following.
Raspberry Pi Power Adaptor
Gender Changer
USB to Null
Modem Adapter
EFFORT REWARDED.

Step 2: Connect USB to Null modem Adapter
to Gender Changer
Step 3: Connect USB-Serial Cable to USB Port of
Raspberry Pi (as seen here).

Step 4: Connect other end of connected cable run
(Gender Changer) to port on back of scales.
Step 5: Connect network cable to Raspberry Pi.
Step 6: Connect Power Adaptor to mains and to
Raspberry Pi.

Step 8: Enter Administrator
Password (0000) and press
Enter.
Step 11: Press the number
‘26’ 5 times to access secret
menu options.
Step 9: Press arrow to
navigate to 4th page.
Step 12: Scales should
now display “Openprotocol
(One Way)” as above.
Now Click ‘Save’ and exit back to home screen.
Setup is now complete and the scales are ready to use.
Step 10: Press Serial
Connect.

Step 7: Now that the hardware
is connected you will need to
congure the scales. On the
scales screen press Administrator
Menu.
