throughaPCorcompatibleadaptor(notincluded)for8hoursbeforefirstuse.Your
InternetradiorequiresabroadbandInternetconnectionthroughWifi.Theeasiestwayis
toconnectaWifiroutertoanAdslmodemoracablemodemprovidedbyyourISP.
PleasereadythesecuritykeyoftheWifirouter(getitfromthepersonsettingupthe
Wifirouterforyou).Dotheset‐upclosetotheWifirouter(within2meterslineofsight).
PressPowerbutton(5)for2secondstoturnontheInternetradio.


belowinstructionstosetuptheradioforuse.


First boot-up Turn Navigation dial

Press [OK] to go to
Advanced

Turn Navigation dial to
highlight Setup
Press [OK] to go to Setup Press [OK] to go to Network
setup & turn [Navigation] to
highlight Wireless LAN
Press [OK] to invoke
Add/Remove AP
Press [OK] to invoke Add
AP (Wifi router)
Alist of APs scanned will be
shown for selection
Turn [Navigation] dial to
highlight & press OK to
choose AP & security key
entry page will be shown
Turn [Navigation] to
choose digits, small and
capital letters & symbols
Continue to choose
character & press [OK] to
enter


Note:Ifyoumakeamistakeinenteringthesecuritykey,youcanpress[Back],choose
IgnorechangesandthenstarttheprocessagainfromAddAP.Alternatively,youcanuse
advancedtechniquesineditingtextinputperAppendixinthemanualtodeleteand
re‐entercharacters.
Invoke Save & exit
when
prompted.
Press [Back] when
the last character
has been entered.
Radio will associate
with the AP based on
the security key
entered
If the security key is
correct, radio will
report Associated!
You can continue to
add APs if you have
more than oneAP

www.azaan.co.uk/homeandselectinganothermosqueifyouwish.Pleaseregisteryourreceiverat
thissitetoobtainafreewarrantyupgradefrom12to24months.


Press Back until the Top
menu is reached and
Nabishi stations will be
highlighted.
(1) is a connected
Control Server of Nabishi
Digital Broadcast
System. (2) indicates that
Nabishi stations are
being highlighted.
Press [OK] will list all
Nabishi stations.
The first station,
Alexandra Mosque, with
an * in front is the Home
station.
Turn the [Navigation]
dial to highlight and
press [OK] to confirm the
station to listen.
If you invoke the Home
station when it is not
broadcasting, you will be
notified.
You can wait for the
Home station to start by
doing nothing or press
[Back] to listen to other
stations or use other
functions.
Home Station
When Home station broadcasts, the radio will give a notification tone and
switch to play it automatically. After Home broadcast finishes, the radio will
return to the station or music it was playing when Home broadcast starts. You
can skip the Home station by press [Back] to carry on with what you want to
do. In such a case, the automatic playback of Home station will be temporarily
disabled for 30 minutes. However, you can always invoke the playback of
Home station manually from the Nabishi radio list.










If the Nabishi station
invoked is not
broadcasting, the above
message will be shown.
You can press [Back] to
return to the Nabishi
radio list to choose other
stations.
