FEATURES
CONTROLS

(3)
(4)
(5)
(6)
(1) AUDIO MUTE ON/OFF SWITCH
This switch is for muting or unmuting the audio while the transmitter is powered ON. Use as needed for
easy control of the mic. This is the preferred method for operating with intermittent audio ON requirements
during a continuous use application. Alternatively the transmitter can also be turned ON/OFF with the
POWER SWITCH, but that is not generally recommended due to possible transient noises which can
result sometimes when operated this way.
(2) LED INDICATOR
This LED flashes once when powering the transmitter ON, indicating a useable battery. When it stays on
continuously it indicates the battery is low and must be replaced.
(3) MICROPHONE
This unidirectional microphone is designed to pick up sound sources directly in front of it. It plugs into the
base through the XLR connector. The neck is adjustable and easy to bend in any direction. Speak into the
mic from a distance of 6" to 12" for optimum performance. Also follow the instructions in the manual for the
accompanying wireless receiver for proper setup of the audio signal from the receiver.
(4) BATTERY COMPARTMENT
The unit is powered by a single 9V alkaline battery. Replace when the LED
INDICATOR lights continuously.
(5) VOLUME CONTROL
This volume control is used to adjust input audio level for optimum
performance. Turn clockwise for maximum audio sensitivity and
counterclockwise for minimum audio sensitivity.
(6) POWER ON/OFF SWITCH
Used to power the transmitter ON or OFF. 1 x 9V
