I termini di validità della Garanzia sono subordinati alla
verifica e al benestare del Rivenditore dove la macchina
è stata acquistata e dove deve rivolgersi l’Utilizzatore.
Sono esclusi dalla Garanzia tutti i materiali di consumo
e di manutenzione periodica e le parti danneggiate per
uso improprio della testata.
Riparazioni e/o sostituzioni effettuate durante il
periodo di Garanzia non prolungano la durata della
stessa.
Il riconoscimento della Garanzia esclude qualsiasi
richiesta di risarcimento danni per mancata produzione.
WARRANTY

purchase.
The terms of this Warranty are subject to verification
and approval of the dealer where the machinery was
purchased
and where it needs to contact the User.
Are excluded from the warranty all consumables and
routine maintenance and the parts are damaged due
to misuse of the header.
Repairs and / or replacements during the warranty
period will not extend the terms..
The recognition of Warranty excludes any claim for
damages for loss of production.

The instruction manual for the use and maintenance
refers to the following header:

information for transportation, lifting, installation,
maintenance, storage, disposal and destruction of
machinery.

NB: The official language used in the preparation of this
manual and the manufacturer’s choice is ‘the’ Italian.

The Pegaso S.r.l. it is considered quite exempt from any
liability in case of misuse of the head, such as:

• Improper use of the machine and / or use by
unauthorized personnel
• Use contrary to the specific provisions
• Improperly installed
• Power supply defects of the combine
• serious deficiencies in the maintenance
• Changes and / or unauthorized
• Use of non-genuine parts or non-specific

Questo manuale è stato redatto secondo quanto
prescritto dalla direttiva macchine 2006/42/CEE; lo
stesso dicasi per la testata la quale è inoltre conforme
a:
UNI EN 12100:2010 : Sicurezza del macchinario. Concetti
fondamentali, principi generali di progettazione.
UNI ISO 14121-2:2013: Sicurezza del macchinario -
Valutazione del rischio - Parte 2: Guida pratica ed
esempi di metodi.
UNI EN 4413:2012 : Sicurezza del macchinario -
Oleoidraulica - Regole generali e requisiti di sicurezza
per i sistemi e i loro componenti.
UNI EN 349:2008: Sicurezza del macchinario - Spazi
minimi per evitare lo schiacciamento di parti del corpo.
UNI EN 13857:2008 : Sicurezza del macchinario -
Distanze di sicurezza per impedire il raggiungimento
di zone pericolose con gli arti superiori e inferiori.
Vengono altresì rispettate le esigenze normative
previste dal Testo Unico (T.U.) 81/08 al fine di tutelare
la sicurezza di operatori e manutentori, così come le
direttive: 89/391/CE , 89/655/CE, 89/656/CE e successive
modifiche e integrazioni.

This manual has been prepared in accordance with the
requirements of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC,
the same goes for the head which is also subject to:

UNI EN 12100:2010: Safety of machinery. Basic concepts,
general principles for design.

UNI ISO 14121-2:2013: Safety of machinery - Risk
assessment - Part 2: Practical guidance and examples
of methods.

UNI EN 4413:2012: Safety of machinery - Hydraulic
fluid power - General rules and safety requirements for
systems and their components.

UNI EN 349:2008: Safety of machinery - Minimum gaps
to avoid crushing of parts of the body.

UNI EN 13857:2008: Safety of machinery - Safety
distances to prevent danger zones being reached by
the upper limbs and lower.

They are also complied with statutory requirements
under the Act (TU) 81/08 in order to protect the safety
of operators and maintenance personnel, as well as
the directives: 89/391/EEC, 89/655/EC, 89/656/EC and
subsequent amendments and additions.




di sopperire a eventuali lacune professionali degli
addetti, è raccomandabile che l’operatore possegga le
conoscenze tecniche per adempiere ai propri compiti.
Per le prescrizioni generali di sicurezza vedere allegato
specifico.
Qualora le operazioni descritte non siano chiare, si
prega l’operatore di mettersi in contatto con la ditta
Pegaso S.r.l. o con il concessionario di zona. In
qualsiasi circostanza, è necessario che l’operatore:

sta facendo e che la manovra che si accinge
a compiere sia dettata dalla sua esperienza
specifica o professionalità;
• abbia capacità ed addestramento adeguati;

addressed to operators, designed to perform specialist
tasks and diverse as:

As the manual is not exhaustive are nor able to make
up for any shortcomings of the professional staff, it is
recommended that the operator possesses the technical
knowledge to perform their tasks.

For general safety requirements see specific annex.


In any circumstance, it is necessary that the operator:

• have full awareness of what he is doing and

5. Caratteristiche del
personale
La direttiva 89/391/CEE, concernente l’attuazione di
misure volte a promuovere il miglioramento della
sicurezza e della salute dei lavoratori durante il lavoro,
afferma che:
I lavoratori designati devono possedere le
capacità necessarie e disporre dei mezzi richiesti
Le persone o servizi esterni consultati devono
possedere le attitudini necessarie e disporre dei
mezzi personali e professionali richiesti.
Il personale addetto all’utilizzo della testata deve
pertanto avere competenze ed esperienze adeguate
a garantire sia la sicurezza propria che quella di
persone coinvolte nelle varie operazioni. Deve inoltre
assicurarsi di impiegare il macchinario con la massima
cura possibile.
Nel caso in cui utilizzatore e proprietario non siano
la stessa persona, quest’ultimo dovrà accertarsi che
l’operatore abbia capacità e addestramento adeguati
alla sua mansione.
La formazione specifica dell’operatore deve essere
effettuata tramite un training di addestramento.
Questo non è richiesto per personale con esperienza
diretta sulla mietitrebbia.

5. Caratteristiche del

11. Schemi di carico e scarico
ATTENZIONE: verificate che i sistemi di ancoraggio
(funi, catene, …) siano sufficientemente adeguati a
sopportare il peso della testata (vedi tabella dati tecnici
Tab. 1 o targhetta costruttore Fig. 5). Per l’aggancio
con testata orizzontale ancorateVi ai punti indicati
sugli schemi seguenti Fig. 1, 3, 4.
RegolateVi in modo di avere sempre in equilibrio la
testata (che il peso sia ben bilanciato). Se prevedete di
utilizzare un carrello elevatore posizionate le forche
sotto il castello portante dei gruppi raccoglitori.
Equilibrate il peso infilando le forche in corrispondenza
dell’attacco alla mietitrebbia.
Operazioni per il ribaltamento della testata
Agganciare con una gru la testata come in Fig. 3 e con
un muletto sollevare leggermente posteriormente la
testata appoggiando le forche nel punto A della Fig.
3, 4 e in contemporanea mantenere sempre le catene B
in tensione. Continuare fino a che non si raggiunge la
posizione di Fig. 4. A un certo punto si aggira solamente
con la gru e il muletto va tolto.
11. Schemes of loading and
unloading

WARNING: Make sure that the fastening systems (ropes,
chains, ...) are sufficiently adequate to withstand the
weight of the head (see technical data table Table 1
or name plate Fig. 5). For engagement with the head
horizontal connect to points indicated on the diagrams
following Fig. 1, 3, 4.
Be care so you always have to balance the head (the
weight is well balanced). If you plan to use a forklift
positioned the forks under the castle carrier groups

attack at the combine.






Operations for tilting the head
A crane hook with the head as in Fig 3 and with a forklift

bloccaggio devono essere come in Fig. 15.
Attenzione: il sistema di aggancio può varia a seconda
del modello di mietitrebbia. Collegare i cardani di
trasmissione Pos. A - Per lo sgancio eseguire le stesse
operazioni in senso inverso.
ANGOLO DI LAVORO
Il corretto angolo di lavoro è indicato in FIG.16: la
quota A deve essere circa 18 cm. e la quota B 6 cm.
In caso contrario agire sulle viti di fissaggio superiore
dell’attacco B di FIG.14.
13. Snap to combine

Bringing the channel of the combine (A) the hooking

and lock down the bolts (D) within the channel, Fig 14.
The locking pins should be as in Fig 15.
Caution: the coupling system can vary depending on the

REGOLAZIONE DISCHI DI TAGLIO
ATTENZIONE: spegnere la macchina e togliere la chiave
di accensione. Con la testata agganciata alla mietitrebbia
inserire, sempre, gli appositi fermi meccanici sui martinetti
elevatori della testata. Per un corretto funzionamento
del sistema di taglio, il gioco fra i due dischi contrapposti
(A) e (B) Fig. 17, deve essere compreso fra 0,3-0,5 mm.
In caso contrario non avremmo un corretto taglio dello
stocco del girasole e delle eventuali erbe infestanti
presenti nel campo. La regolazione del gioco si effettua
in questo modo: Togliere la vite (C) Fig. 17, togliere il
mozzo (D) e inserire o togliere gli anelli di spessore (E).
Rimontare il tutto e verificare il gioco fra i dischi.

chains which give the power to a hexagonal shaft
which passes under the machine frame. The tension of
the main chain of transmission is obtained by acting

cover, to open it to act on the closing hinges (A) and

del sistema di taglio, il gioco fra i due dischi contrapposti
(A) e (B) Fig. 17, deve essere compreso fra 0,3-0,5 mm.
In caso contrario non avremmo un corretto taglio dello
stocco del girasole e delle eventuali erbe infestanti
presenti nel campo. La regolazione del gioco si effettua
in questo modo: Togliere la vite (C) Fig. 17, togliere il
mozzo (D) e inserire o togliere gli anelli di spessore (E).
Rimontare il tutto e verificare il gioco fra i dischi.

20. Immagazzinamento
Qualora la macchina venga stivata o immagazzinata
per lunghi periodi è opportuno seguire i seguenti
accorgimenti:
• Accertarsi dell’idoneità di pavimento/terreno/
su cui la macchina verrà piazzata.
• Pulire la macchina con getti d’aria
compressa.
ATTENZIONE: si sconsiglia l’uso di pompe di lavaggio
ad alta pressione perché potrebbero danneggiare
paraolio e protezioni varie.
• Togliere i carter di protezione per un controllo
generale e sostituire le parti eventualmente
usurate;
• Smontare tutte le catene e verificare il loro stato
di usura. Metterle in un recipiente contenete
nafta o olio usato per preservarle da eventuali
ossidazioni;
• Conservare la macchina in un luogo coperto e
non esposto ad agenti atmosferici.
20. Storage

If the machine is stowed or stored for long periods
should take the following steps:



• Ensure the suitability of the floor / ground / on
which the machine will be placed.

• Clean the machine with compressed air
jets.

CAUTION: It is not advisable to use a high pressure
washer pumps as they could damage seals and various
protections.

• Remove a l l protective covers for a
general check and replace any worn parts;

• Remove all chains and check their state of wear.
Put them in a container containing fuel oil or
used oil to protect them from possible oxidation;

• Store the machine in a covered place and not
exposed
to the weather.
