Locker Units
Tools Required
Drill (Phillips #2)
2Vercal Storage Lockers can be used in open oorplan conguraons
if they are ganged side-by-side in sets of 2 (or more) or back-to-back
in sets of 4 or more. See acceptable conguraons below. The end
panels and/or back panels of the units must be screwed together in
these applicaons. The recommended screw length for ganging units
is a 1-1/4” and there should be at least 2 screws per aachment face.

Start by leveling the units in their intended locaon, follow the leveling
guide (ref dwg# 1399193,- ). If necessary, adjust the door hinges following
the guide (ref dwg# 1475186,-).

Locker Units
Vercal Storage Lockers that are being placed against a structural wall
must be mounted using an An-Tip Mounng Kit if any locker is not
ganged to adjacent units (acceptable conguraons shown on page 1).
It is the responsibility of the installer to select and purchase the proper
aachment fasteners. Recommended fasteners are listed below.
NOTE: Naonal denes a structural wall as a load-bearing wall constructed
of materials such as: poured concrete, concrete block, or studs. Wood
studs must be a nominal 2" x 4" size minimum. Metal studs must be “C”
channel, 20-gauge thick minimum. Metal or wood studs must be on centers
no greater than 24" and have maximum height of 14’ restrained at
oor and ceiling. Interior walls shall be designed to resist not less than a
force of 5 lbs. per square foot applied perpendicular to wall. The deecon
of such wall under a load of 5 lbs. per square foot shall not exceed 1|240
of the span for walls with brile nishes, and 1|120 of the span for walls
with exible nishes (per Uniform Building Code Secon 2390b). If you
have any quesons concerning your load-bearing structures, please consult
your architect or structural engineer.

4The approved restraint for securing the back of the locker to the wall
must meet the requirements of ASTM F3096-14 as required by ASTM
F2057-17. The recommended restraints are below:
