Locker Units
Vercal Storage Lockers that are being placed against a structural wall
must be mounted using an An-Tip Mounng Kit if any locker is not
ganged to adjacent units (acceptable conguraons shown on page 1).
It is the responsibility of the installer to select and purchase the proper
aachment fasteners. Recommended fasteners are listed below.
NOTE: Naonal denes a structural wall as a load-bearing wall constructed
of materials such as: poured concrete, concrete block, or studs. Wood
studs must be a nominal 2" x 4" size minimum. Metal studs must be “C”
channel, 20-gauge thick minimum. Metal or wood studs must be on centers
no greater than 24" and have maximum height of 14’ restrained at
oor and ceiling. Interior walls shall be designed to resist not less than a
force of 5 lbs. per square foot applied perpendicular to wall. The deecon
of such wall under a load of 5 lbs. per square foot shall not exceed 1|240
of the span for walls with brile nishes, and 1|120 of the span for walls
with exible nishes (per Uniform Building Code Secon 2390b). If you
have any quesons concerning your load-bearing structures, please consult
your architect or structural engineer.

4The approved restraint for securing the back of the locker to the wall
must meet the requirements of ASTM F3096-14 as required by ASTM
F2057-17. The recommended restraints are below:
