Fan be installed
in the wooden
frame
The fans mounting brackets on sliding rails are adjustable, oosen screws to set the needed position
of brackets, Fi them with 8bolts. Carefully adjust the brackets to the desired position and affi to
frame. It may be necessary to build additional supports to fit the fan into the desired position.
Part  Fiing the Fan
Typical installations include placement in a basement or gable. Instructions are shown below for these
two sample installations. s the fan may be installed in any number of locations, these instructions are
provided as a general guide. If you are unsure of how to install in your particular location, consult with
a skilled handyman or contractor.
Safety precautions should be taken at all times.
Choose a location for installing the fan.
Place the fan behind an eisting gable wall louver or install a new louver and intake. The fan should
be approimately   mm to  10 mm away from the eterior louver.

Part  ounting the Solar Panel
Choose the optimal location for the solar panel.
The fan is powered by the solar panel and will run only when the solar panel is receiving adeuate
sunlight. For this reason, the optimal location for the solar panel will be where it can receive the
maimum amount of sunlight during the day, with the little or no shade.
The solar panel is secured with all four  screws in the package. pen the solar panel by loosening
the screws on one side, to remove the brackets concealed inside




Maintenance
The solar panel reuires no maintenance ecept occasional cleaning and replacement of damaged or
worn parts. Solar panel may be cleaned by wiping with a clean damp cloth. o not use soap or
solvents. se only identical replacement components. Components that may be suitable for one device
may create a risk of injury when used with another device.

Nature Power warrants our products to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in
materials and workmanship for the period of one year from date of purchase. In addition, The solar
panel is warranted to generate up to 80 of rated power for a period of five years from date of
purchase. In the case of product defect, contact Nature Power customer service to receive
troubleshooting. If defective part or unit should be returned, a return uthoriation Number must be
issued by Nature Power and the defective part or unit should be returned to the authoried location
at the purchasers epense.  dated proof of purchase is reuired to receive warranty service. nce
received at authoried location and defect proves to be the result of defective material and
workmanship, the defective part or unit will be replaced at warrantors option and returned to the
