Sicherheitshinweise
Verwenden Sie den Funkwecker nur im Innenbereich.
Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie das Gerät von
Kindern fern, da es zerbrechliche Teile enthält.
Setzen Sie den Funkwecker nicht direktem Sonnenlicht,
Feuchtigkeit, Staub, starker Hitze, heißen Lichtquellen
oder starken Magnetfeldern aus.
Vermeiden Sie eine starke mechanische Beanspru-
chung des Geräts. Drücken Sie nicht auf das LC-
Display und setzen Sie das Gerät keinen starken Vibra-
tionen aus.
Nehmen Sie die Batterie bei längerem Nichtgebrauch
aus dem Gerät.
Batterien dürfen nicht geladen, nicht auseinander
genommen, ins Feuer geworfen oder kurzgeschlossen
werden. Mischen Sie nicht neue und alte Batterien.
Zerlegen Sie das Gerät nicht und unternehmen Sie
keine eigenen Reparaturversuche. Bei Fragen oder
Problemen wenden Sie sich an unsere Kundenbetreu-
ung.
Beachten Sie bitte zur Vermeidung von Fehl-
funktionen, Schäden und gesundheitlichen
Beeinträchtigungen folgende Hinweise:
Batterien und Akkus gehören
nicht in den Hausmüll.
Sie können sie kostenlos an uns
zurücksenden oder bei örtlichen
Geschäften oder Batteriesammel-
stellen abgeben.

Vor der ersten Benutzung
Nehmen Sie das Gerät aus der Verpackung und überprü-
fen Sie es auf Transportschäden.
Halten Sie die Verpackungsmaterialien von Kindern fern.
Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
Batterie einlegen/ersetzen
1. Das Batteriefach (9) befindet sich an der Rückseite des
Funkweckers. Klappen Sie den Aufstellbügel heraus
und entfernen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel.
2. Setzen Sie eine neue 1,5 V Alkaline Batterien des Typs
LR03 (AAA) in das Batteriefach ein. Beachten Sie die
Polarität der Batterie. Zur Bestätigung aller Funktionen,
erscheinen für einige Sekunden alle Symbole auf dem
Display und es ertönt ein Signalton.
3. Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
Ersetzen Sie die Batterie wenn die Anzeige auf dem
Display schwächer wird.
Einleitung
Dieser Funkwecker empfängt das DCF-Zeitsendersignal
der Physikalisch Technischen Anstalt Braunschweig,
das auf der Langwellenfrequenz 77,5 kHz vom Sender
Mainflingen bei Frankfurt/Main ausgesandt wird. Das
Signal hat eine Reichweite von ca. 1500 km und ist
hochgenau (1 s Abweichung in 1 Mio. Jahren).
Außerhalb dieser Reichweite bzw. bei schlechten
Empfangsverhältnissen läuft die Uhr des Funkweckers

als genaue Quarzuhr weiter, bis ein Funksignal emp-
fangen wird.
Stellen Sie den Funkwecker zum besseren Empfang
mindestens einen Meter entfernt von elektrischen Gerä-
ten (TV, Mikrowellengeräte, Lautsprechern, PC etc.)
auf. In Stahlbetongebäuden stellen Sie den Funkwecker
möglichst nahe an einem Fenster oder anderen Gebäu-
deöffnungen auf.
Beachten Sie, dass auch starke Funk- und Stromver-
sorgungsanlagen, Flughäfen, Bahntrassen, Hochspan-
nungsleitungen, Umspannwerke, Berge, Täler usw.,
aber auch Neonleuchten und schlechtes Wetter den
Empfang beeinträchtigen können.
Uhrzeit/Datum einstellen
Nach dem Einlegen der Batterie synchronisiert sich der
Funkwecker selbständig auf das Zeitsendersignal. Dieser
Vorgang dauert max. 7 Minuten. Während der Synchroni-
sationsphase blinkt das Funksymbol (2) im Display.
Nach erfolgreicher Synchronisation werden die aktuelle
Uhrzeit und das Datum angezeigt.
Hinweis: Der Funkwecker führt eine automatische Syn-
chronisation immer um 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 bzw. 5:00
Uhr durch.
Sollte der Empfang des Zeitsendersignals nicht möglich
sein, kann der Funkwecker auch wie folgt manuell einge-
stellt werden.

1. Drücken und halten Sie die Einstelltaste MODE (10) für
ca. 3 Sekunden. Die 12/24-Stundenanzeige blinkt nun
auf dem Display.
2. Verwenden Sie die Hoch-Taste UP (11) und die Runter-
Taste DOWN (5) zur Einstellung des jeweils blinkenden
Wertes.
3. Bestätigen Sie die Einstellung mit der Einstelltaste
MODE (10). Der nächste einzustellende Wert blinkt.
4. Stellen Sie auf diese Weise die folgenden Werte der
Reihe nach ein:
→12/24-Studenanzeigemodus
→Zeitzone (+12 bis -12 Stunden Abweichung)
→Stunde
→Minute
→Jahr
→Monat
→Tag
→Sprache *
* Verfügbare Sprachen: Deutsch (GER), Englisch (ENG) Italienisch
(ITA), Französisch (FRE), Niederländisch (DUT), Spanisch (SPA),
Dänisch (DAN).
Abschließend wird wieder die aktuelle Uhrzeit angezeigt.
Hinweise:
Wird im manuellen Einstellmodus für 30 Sekunden
keine Taste gedrückt, wird der Einstellmodus automa-
tisch beendet.

Halten Sie die Hoch-/Runtertaste zur schnelleren
Veränderung eines Wertes gedrückt.
Manuelle Synchronisation zum DCF-Zeitsendersignal
Drücken Sie auf die Signalsuchentaste WAVE (6), um das
Signal des Zeitsenders manuell zu empfangen, so dass
sich der Funkwecker darauf synchronisieren kann. Wäh-
rend der Synchronisationsphase blinkt das Funksymbol
(2) im Display. Nach erfolgreicher Synchronisation werden
die aktuelle Uhrzeit und das Datum angezeigt.
Weckzeit einstellen
1. Drücken und halten Sie die Alarmtaste ALARM (7) für
ca. 3 Sekunden um in den Einstellmodus für die Weck-
zeit zu wechseln. Die Stundenziffer der Weckzeit blinkt.
2. Verwenden Sie die Hoch-Taste UP (11) und die Runter-
Taste DOWN (5) zur Einstellung der Stundenziffer.
Drücken Sie die Alarmtaste zur Bestätigung. Die Minu-
tenziffer blinkt.
3. Verwenden Sie die Hoch-Taste UP (11) und die Runter-
Taste DOWN (5) zur Einstellung der Minutenziffer. Drü-
cken Sie die Alarmtaste zur Bestätigung. Die aktuelle
Uhrzeit wird eingeblendet.
Wecker aktivieren
1. Drücken Sie kurz auf die Alarmtaste ALARM (7), um die
Weckfunktion zu aktivieren. Das Alarmsymbol er-
scheint im Display.

2. Drücken Sie erneut auf die Alarmtaste, um die Weck-
funktion zu deaktivieren. Das Alarmsymbol erlischt.
3. Bei aktiviertem Wecker ertönt zur eingestellten Weck-
zeit ein Alarmsignal. Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste,
um das Alarmsignal auszuschalten. Oder drücken Sie
auf die Schlummertaste SNZ (8), um die Schlummer-
funktion zu aktivieren. Das Snooze-Symbol erscheint
und das Alarmsignal ertönt nach 5 Minuten erneut.
Raumtemperatur
Rechts neben der Wochentagsanzeige (1) wird die
momentane Raumtemperatur (3) angezeigt.
Verwenden Sie die Runter-Taste DOWN (5) zum
Wechsel der Temperatureinheit zwischen °C und °F.
Reinigung und Lagerung
Reinigen Sie den Funkwecker nicht mir scharfen
Reinigern oder aggressiven Chemikalien, um die Ober-
flächen nicht zu beschädigen. Reinigen Sie das Gerät
nur mit einem trockenen oder leicht befeuchteten Tuch.
Üben Sie beim Reinigen keinen Druck auf das LC-
Display aus.
Betreiben und lagern Sie den Funkwecker nur im
Innenbereich, an einem trockenen und vor Staub,
Schmutz und extremen Temperaturen geschützten Ort.
Nehmen Sie bei längerem Nichtgebrauch die Batterie
aus dem Batteriefach.
Lagern Sie das Gerät außer Reichweite von Kindern
und zu beaufsichtigenden Personen.

Notes
Use the radio alarm clock only indoors.
The unit is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children as
it contains small and fragile parts.
Do not expose the alarm clock to direct sunlight, humidi-
ty, dust, extreme heat, hot light sources or strong mag-
netic fields.
Avoid strong mechanical stresses and do not press on
the LC display. Do not expose the unit to strong vibra-
tions.
Remove the battery from the radio alarm clock if you do
not intend to use it for a longer period of time.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries. Do
not mix fresh batteries and spent batteries.
Do not disassemble the unit and do not try to repair it
yourself. In case of problems or questions turn to our
customer service.
Please note the following safety notes to avoid
malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
Batteries and rechargeable
batteries do not belong in
household garbage.
For battery disposal, please check
with your local council.

Before first Use
Remove the unit from the packaging and check it for
damage in transit.
Keep packaging materials out of reach of small children.
There is risk of suffocation!
Inserting/replacing the Battery
1. The battery compartment (9) is located at the rear side
of the radio alarm clock. Unfold the stand (4) and re-
move the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert a new 1.5 V alkaline batteries of the type LR03
(AAA) into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the
proper polarity of the battery. For confirmation, all avail-
able icons appear for several seconds on the display
and you will hear a signal sound.
3. Close the battery compartment.
Replace the battery if the display gets weaker.
Introduction
This radio controlled alarm clock automatically receives
the time signal broadcast by the official European
standard long wave frequency of 77.5 kHz. The time
signal transmitter of the National Physical Laboratory
Braunschweig is located in Mainflingen near Frank-
furt/Main (Germany). The high-precision radio signal
can be received within a distance of 1500 km around
Mainflingen (deviation of 1 sec. in 1 million years).
If the alarm clock is out of range of the radio signal
transmission or has weak radio signal, the clock will still

run as a quartz clock, until it receives the radio signal
again.
Place the alarm clock at least 1 meter away from
electronic appliances (such as TV sets, microwave ov-
ens, speakers, computers or metallic objects). If you
use the alarm clock in reinforced concrete buildings,
place the unit close to windows or other openings of the
building.
Please note that strong radio and electric supply facili-
ties, airports, railway routes, high-voltage lines, trans-
former stations, mountains, valleys etc. as well as neon
lights and bad weather conditions have an influence on
the quality of the radio signal.
Setting the Time/Date
After inserting the battery, the alarm clock automatically
receives the radio time signal and synchronises to it. The
synchronisation process takes up to 7 minutes. During
synchronisation the radio icon (2) flashes on the
display. After a successful time signal reception, the
current time and date are displayed.
Note: The radio alarm clock starts scanning for the radio
time signal at 1:00 am, 2:00 am, 3:00 am, 4:00 am resp.
5:00 am.
If reception of the radio time signal is not possible, you
can manually set the alarm clock as follows.

1. Press and hold the MODE key (10) for approx.
3 seconds. The 12/24 hour symbol flashes on the dis-
play.
2. Use the UP key (11) and the DOWN key (5) to set the
flashing digit.
3. Press the MODE key (10) to confirm the setting.
4. This way you can setup time and date in the following
sequence:
→12/24 hour display mode
→Time zone (+12 to -12 hours variation)
→Hour
→Minute
→Year
→Month
→Date
→Language *
Available languages: German (GER), English (ENG), Italian (ITA),
French (FRE), Dutch (DUT), Spanish (SPA), Danish (DAN).
When the setup is finished, the alarm clock returns to
displaying the current time.
Notes:
If you do not press any key in setting mode for 30
seconds, the alarm clock automatically quits the setting
mode.
Press and hold the UP resp. the DOWN key in setting
mode to change the flashing digit more rapidly.

Manual Synchronisation to the DCF time signal
Press the signal search key WAVE (6) to manually receive
the radio time signal. The alarm clock synchronizes to this
signal and sets up time and date. During synchronisation
the radio icon (2) flashes on the display. After a successful
reception of the time signal, the current time and date are
displayed.
Setting the Alarm Time
1. Press and hold the ALARM key (7) for approx. 3 sec-
onds to enter the alarm time setting mode. The hour
digit of the alarm time flashes.
2. Use the UP key (11) and the DOWN key (5) to set the
hour digit. Press the ALARM key to confirm the setting.
The minute digit flashes.
3. Use the UP key (11) and the DOWN key (5) to set the
minute digit. Press the ALARM key to confirm the set-
ting. The current time is displayed.
Activating the Alarm
1. Briefly press the ALARM key (7) to activate the alarm
function. The alarm icon is displayed.
2. Press the ALARM key once more to deactivate the
alarm function. The alarm icon disappears.
3. Having the alarm activated, the alarm signal sounds at
the set alarm time. Press any key to turn off the alarm
sound. Or press the snooze key SNZ (8) to activate the

snooze function. The snooze icon is displayed and
the alarm sounds again after 5 minutes.
Ambient Temperature
Right to the weekday display (1), the current ambient
temperature (3) is displayed.
Use the DOWN key (5) to alternate the temperature unit
between °C and °F.
Cleaning and Storing
Do not clean the housing of the radio alarm clock with
abrasives or aggressive chemicals in order not to dam-
age the surfaces. Only wipe the unit with a dry or lightly
moistened cloth.
While cleaning, do not press on the LC display.
Only use and store the alarm clock indoors in a dry
place that is protected from dust, dirt and extreme tem-
peratures.
Remove the battery from the unit if you do not intend to
use it for a longer period of time.
Store the unit out of reach of children and persons in
need of supervision.
