At a Glance

MODE
Power. Press to turn the unit on and to change
the active source mode: Radio, USB, CARD,
AUX IN. (USB & CARD modes are only available
when media is detected by the player.)
Press and hold to turn the unit off.
2 Volume/
Options
Rotate to adjust the volume level.
Press to cycle through the options menu and
rotate the dial to adjust the options: Bass,
Treble, Balance, Fader, EQ off, Loud, Loc,
Stereo, Vol.
3 USB/CARD: Press to skip to the previous
track.
RADIO: Press to auto scan down to the next
station. Press and hold to tune to a lower
frequency.
4 USB/CARD: Press to skip to the next track.
RADIO: Press to auto scan up to the next station.
Press and hold to tuneto a higherfrequency.
5/1 USB/CARD: Press to start/pause/resume play.
RADIO: Preset station 1.
6 INT/2 USB/CARD: Press to change the intro mode.
RADIO: Preset station 2.
7 RPT/3 USB/CARD: Press to change the repeat mode.
RADIO: Preset station 3.
8 RDM/4 USB/CARD: Press to change the random mode.
RADIO: Preset station 4.
9 –10/5 USB/CARD: Press to skip back 10 tracks.
RADIO: Preset station 5.
10 +10/6 Press to skip forward 10 tracks.
RADIO: Preset station 6.

11 MUTE Press to temporarily disable/restore the
sound.
12 AMS USB/CARD: Press to enter track search
mode, then rotate the volume dial to scan
through the track.
Radio: Automatic Memory Save. Press
to scan for the strongest radio station
signals and automatically save them to
preset memory. The radio can save up to
6 stations.
13 BAND Press to change the radio band (FM1, FM2,
FM3, AM1, AM2).
14 CLK Clock. Press once to display the time.
Press and hold to set the time.
15 IR Remote sensor.
16 AUX
connector
AUX mode. 3.5mm stereo connection for
devices with 3.5mm line-out or head-
phone output.
17 USB port USB mode. Load USB memory sticks here.
The USB port is designed for media play-
back from memory devices. It is not
designed to charge high-power devices.
18 Release Press to down the front panel in order
to access the SD slot, reset the unit, or to
remove the faceplate.

Installation Procedures
First complete the electrical connections, and then
checktomakesureeverythingissecureandcorrect.
Installation Opening
Thisunitcanbeinstalledinanydashboardhavingan
openingasshownbelow.
The dashboard must be 4.75–5.56mm thick in order
to be able to support the unit.
Insert the mounting sleeve into the dashboard and
bendthemountingtabsoutwithascrewdriver.Make
surethatthelocklever isushwiththemounting
collarandisnotprojectingbeyond.

Attaching the Faceplate to the
Chassis
1. Aligntheindentationontherightofthefaceplate
withtheright“bulge”ofthechassis.
2. Slidethefaceplateinandholdittotheleft;atthe
sametime,bringtheotherendofthefaceplateto-
wardsthechassis,makingsuretoaligntheinden-
tationwiththe“bulge.”

3. Flipthefaceplateupuntilitclicksintoplaceand
attachestothechassis. To detach the faceplate:
1. Press the RELEASE button to ip the faceplate
down.
2. Gently push the faceplate to the left to release it
fromthechassis,thenpullitawayfromthechassis.

Troubleshooting
Ifyou suspect something iswrong, immediately turn
thepoweroff.Donotusetheunitwhileitisexhibit-
ingabnormalbehavior(forexample,nosound,orifit
is smoking and emitting a foul smell). Continuingto
usetheunitinthisstatecouldleadtoareorelectric
shock.DiscontinueuseimmediatelyandcontactNaxa
TechnicalSupport(www.naxa.com/naxa_support/)..
