本非冗長ファンを本体装置へ取付ける際には本体装置に添付の「使用上のご注意」に記載されてい
る内容をよく読んでご理解し、安全にご活用ください。
また、取り付けにあたっては、最寄りの保守サービス会社に依頼することをお勧めします。
警告
安全上のご注意を無視する取り扱いを行うと、装置の故障、人体事故、火災・周囲の機器の損傷を
引き起こす原因となることがあります。
電源プラグを抜く
オプションの取り付け、取り外し時は電源プラグをコンセントから抜
き、外部装置と接続しているケーブルを外してください。
故障や感電する恐れがあります。
感電注意
分解禁止
発火注意
本書に記載されている場合を除き、絶対に分解したり、修理・改造を
行ったりしないでください。装置が正常に動作しなくなるばかりでな
く、感電や火災の危険があります。

取り扱い上の注意事項
ファンを箱から取り出した後は、次の注意事項を必ずお守りください。
zほこりの多い場所や大気中に硫黄の蒸気が発生する場所及び、水などの液体のかかるおそれ
のある場所に置かないでください。
ファンの取り付け
本体装置への取り付けに関しては、本体装置に添付のEXPRESSBUILDERに含まれるユーザーズガイドを
参照して下さい。
第三者への譲渡
本製品を第三者へ譲渡（または売却）する場合には、本書を一緒にお渡しください。
本製品の寿命について
本製品の製品寿命は5年です。

BEFORE INSTALLATION
Before installing this Fan Kit in your basic processing unit (including NEC Express
Server), carefully read through and understand the precautions for use described in
the Getting Started supplied with the basic processing unit to use the product safely.
We recommend that you have your local service/maintenance center do this
expansion work.

WARNING
If you disregard precautions, it may cause malfunction of the device, human body injury, fire and/or
damage to the machine parts around the device.
Unplug the power plug.
Make sure to unplug the power plug from the electrical outlet and
unplug the cables connected to external devices from the
machine before installing or removing the product.
Touching the device of the NEC Express server with its power
plug connected to a power source may cause an electric shock
even if the NEC Express server is powered off.

Express server under any circumstances other than
described in this guide. Failure to follow these instructions

Precautions on Handling
Observe the following after unpacking the fan unit.
Do not place fan unit in a place with much dust, corrosive gas in presence, or with
possibilities of chemicals or liquid sprayed over.
Installing Fixed Fan Kit
Please refer to the user's guide included by sever in EXPRESSBUILDER of attachment about
installation to your sever.
Transfer to Third Party
When you transfer (or sell) the Fixed Fan Kit to a third party, also give this guide to the party.
Service Life
The service life of this product is five years.
