本製品を安全にお使い頂くために、ここで説明する注意事項を良くお読みになりご理解下さい。
本製品をラックへ取付ける際には、ラックのユーザーズガイドもご確認の上、作業を行なって下さい。
注意
注意事項を無視して本製品を取り扱うと、本体装置の故障、人体事故、火災、周辺機器の損傷を引
き起こす原因となることがあります。
本製品をラックへ取り付け、取り外しの際には、指をはさんだり、ぶつけたりしないよう
に注意して下さい。
本製品を梱包箱から取り出した後は、ほこりの多い場所や水などの液体のかかる恐
れのある場所に置かないで下さい。
ラックに外装等のオプション製品を取り付ける前にラックが安定して設置されているこ
とを確認して下さい。製品の破損、ラックの転倒など事故の原因となります。
ラック上面の高所で作業を行なう場合は、脚立等を使用して安全を確保して下さい。
ラックの外装品の取り付け、取り外しの際には必ず2人以上で作業を行なって下さい。
けがや製品の破損の原因となります。
本製品のラックへの取り付け、取り外しは、保守サービス会社に依頼することをお勧めします。
まえがき
本製品は、25U/37U/42Uラック（N8140-500/501/502/503[F]/504/505[F]/506/510[F]）専用の鍵交換
用ハンドルです。本製品を標準搭載のハンドルと交換することでラック毎に専用の鍵を設置することが
できます。本製品は、フロントドア/リアドア共通で使用できるハンドルの2個セットです。
構成品
梱包箱には次の物が入っています。添付品チェックリストを参照し全てが揃っていることを確認して下
さい。万一足りないものや損傷しているものがあった場合は、お買い求めの販売店にご連絡下さい。

取り付け方法
本製品をラックへ取り付ける際には、ラックのユーザーズガイドもご確認の上、作業を行なって下さい。
作業人数
警告 ラックのフロントドア及びリアドアの取り付け/取り外しは必ず2人以上で作業
を行なって下さい。けがやラックの破損の原因となります。
落下注意
ドアを取り付ける際に、下ヒンジのロックは解除しないで下さい。
ドアのヒンジにピンが確実に差し込まれていることを確認して下さい。
ドアが落下しドアの破損、けがの原因となります。
キーの保管
注意
フロントドア、リアドア用のキーはシステムの管理者によって保管して下さい。
Memo
① ハンドルを交換するドアをラックから取り外します。
ドアの取り外しはラックのユーザーズガイドをご確認下さい。
② ハンドルを交換します。下記図を参考にハンドルを交換して下さい。
ハンドルはネジ2個で固定されています。
③ ラックにドアを取り付けます。ドアの取り付けは、ラックのユーザーズガイドをご確認下さい。
ハンドルを手前に引くとロックが外れ、
ドアの開閉が可能になります。

When installing this product in a rack, be sure to read the rack user's guide before installation.
CAUTION
Ignoring these precautions when handling this product can lead to malfunctions of the main
unit, injuries, fire, and damage to peripheral equipment.
Be sure not to smash or jam fingers when installing/uninstalling this product
on/from a rack.
After removing this product from its packaging, do not place it where it will be
exposed to large amounts of dust, water or other liquids.
Make sure that the rack is securely installed before attaching any optional
products to it, such as exterior equipment. Doing so can cause damage to the
p
roduct, cause the rack to fall over or other accidents.
When conducting work at the top of the rack, be sure to use a stepladder, etc.,
to ensure safety.
When installing or uninstalling exterior equipment, be sure to work in teams of
two or more people. Ignoring this can lead to injuries and damage to the
p
roduct.
We recommend asking a maintenance and after-service company to install/uninstall this product
on/from a rack.
Preface
This product is a dedicated handle set with special keys for the 25U, 37U and 42U racks
(N8140-500/501/502/503[F]/504/505[F]/506/510[F]). This product is changed the standard
handle in order to install the dedicated lock in each rack. This product is a set of two
handles common to both front and rear doors.

six months to make sure that they are not loose.

Installation
When installing this product in a rack, be sure to also read the rack user's guide before installation.
Number of Workers
WARNING
Install/remove the front and rear doors of the rack in pairs.
Working alone could lead to injury or damage to the rack.
Falling-off Caution
When removing the door, do not unlock the door bottom hinge.
Doing so could cause the rear door to fall off and damage it or
lead to injury.
Storing Keys
CAUTION
The system manager should store the front and rear door keys.
Memo
①Remove the door to change the handle from the rack.
Refer to the rack user's guide for removing the door.
②Refer to the illustration below and change the handle.
After remove the two screws securing the handle, attach the prepared handle with the two screws.
③Reattach the removed door to the rack. Refer to THE rack user's guide for attaching the door.
Pulling out the handle will release
the lock and allow the door to open.
