Nectar Base Station
Before using base station, review the User Guide at

Description
Wallmount Nectar Base Station is designed to scan
and collect any Nectar BLE packets, then upload
them to the Nectar Cloud via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
It has a BLE receiving range of 20–30 feet in
radius, and is capable of managing the packets
from up to 500 devices.

Installation

Configure your base station(s) before
activating your smart cap(s)
1. Download and install the Nectar app to your
mobile device
2. Plug your base station into a power outlet
within 20–30 feet of your smart cap(s)
3. Using the Nectar mobile app, follow
instructions to pair your base station to your
Wi-Fi network
Note: Only 2.4GHz networks are supported by the
base station.
Battery
Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself—you
may damage the battery, which could cause
overheating, fire, and injury. The nickel metal
hydride (NiMH) battery in the base station should
only be serviced or recycled by Nectar, and must
be recycled or disposed of separately from
household waste. Dispose of batteries according to
your local governmental laws and guidelines.

can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to
radio communications. However, there is no
guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception,
which can be determined by turning the equipment
off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct
the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
●Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
●Increase the separation between the
equipment and receiver.
●Connect the equipment into an outlet on a
circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
●Consult the dealer or an experienced
radio/TV technician for help.
The FCC requires the user to be notified that any
changes or modifications made to this device that
are not expressly approved by Nectar, Inc. may
void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
