The environment thank you for choosing this new generation ecological ice cream
storage unit produced in ITALY by Nemox International.
We are very proud of this new creation that adopts the best solutions for the
environment. It reduces considerably the electricity consumption and at the same
time it improves the operation eciency.
Your machine uses refrigerant uids such as propane (R290) which, compared
to traditional gases, reduce the impact on greenhouse gas emissions by up to
99.95%!
Components manufactured with low energy consumption technology and materials
recyclable at the end of their life are mainly used.
We thank you for your condence in our company and people. We will do everything
we can to make you fully satised with your choice.
IMPORTANT:
Please keep the packaging of your machine. Should you need to return it for any
reason, please provide to pack it preferably in its original packaging.
If the machine is delivered in a packaging that is not suitable for shipment, all repair
costs will be charged to the shipper, even if the machine is under warranty.
If the machine returned proves not to be defective it will be returned to the sender
and charged for control and shipping costs.
The receiver may as well reject shipment of appliance not properly packed.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
observed, including the following:
• Read all instructions carefully.
• To protect against risk of electric shock, do not put the main body of appliance in
water or any other liquid.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons

• The appliance’s manufacturer and vendor reject any responsibility for failure to
comply with the instructions provided in this user manual.
• Check that the voltage shown on the rating plate corresponds to the voltage of
the mains.
• Never clean with scouring powders or hard implements.
• Do not place or use the appliance on hot surfaces, such as stoves, hotplates, or
near open gas ames.
• Do not put any part in the dishwasher.
• Do not unplug the unit by pulling on the cord.
• The appliance must be connected to an electrical system and power supply
socket with a minimum capacity of 10A, equipped with an ecient earth contact.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damages to things or people in the event
that the prescribed safety norms have not been respected.
• Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning, make sure that the appliance
has been disconnected from the electrical mains by removing the plug from the
power supply socket.
• This appliance is suitable for use with 32°C max. ambient temperature (climatic
class “4”).
• The A-weighted emission sound pressure level is below 70 dB(A).
• Never wash the appliance under water jets or place it in water!

SPECIAL WARNING FOR APPLIANCES CONTAINING
R290 GAS.
WARNING: Keep clear of obstruction all ventilation openings in the appliance
enclosure or in the structure for building-in.
WARNING: Do not speed up the defrosting process by using mechanical devices
or other means than those recommended by the manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not use electrical appliances inside the food / ice storage
compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the
manufacturer.
WARNING: Do not damage the refrigerating circuit.
Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a ammable
propellant in this appliance.
This appliance contains a small quantity of R290 refrigerant gas which is
ammable. The refrigerant quantity contained in this appliance is marked on the
rating plate of the appliance.
Do not allow any sharp objects to come into contact with the refrigeration system.
During transportation and installation, ensure that the piping of the refrigerant
circuit is not damaged: leaking refrigerant can ignite and may damage the eyes.
In case of damages to the refrigerant circuit, do not use electric items or re
equipment nearby, and open the windows to ventilate the room. Contact the
Authorized Service Center.
In the event any damage does occur, avoid exposure to open res and any device
which creates a spark and disconnect the appliance from the mains power.
Thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is located for several
minutes.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT
IN ACCORDANCE WITH EC DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EC.
This product may contain substances that can be hazardous to the environment
or to human health if not disposed of properly. We therefore provide you with the
following information to prevent releases of these substances and to improve the
use of natural resources. Electrical and electronic equipment should never be
disposed of in the usual municipal waste but must be separately collected for their
proper treatment.
The crossed-out bin symbol, placed on the product and in this page, remind you
of the need to dispose of properly the product at the end of its life. In this way it
is possible to prevent that a not specic treatment of the substances contained
in these products, or their improper use, or improper use of their parts may be
hazardous to the environment or to human health. Furthermore this helps to

IMPORTANT: This machine contains its own refrigerant which must be allowed to settle after transport. Leave
the machine on a horizontal surface for at least 12 hours after purchase or after any move which might have
stored the machine the wrong way up.
Leave at least 20 cm on each side of the machine to allow free air circulation. Make sure the vent slots are
free and unobstructed.
UK USERS ONLY
HOW TO CONNECT THE CORD TO A U.K. PLUG: IMPORTANT
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
• Green and yellow: Earth
• Blue: Neutral
• Brown: Live
Please, read the instructions given below before connecting the cord to a
plug. If in doubt, please, consult a qualied electrician. As the colours of the
wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the coloured
markings identifyng the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: the wire that
is coloured Green and Yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug
which is marked with the letter E or the Earth symbol (G), or coloured Green or Green and Yellow.
The wire that is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or
coloured Red. The wire that is coloured Blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured Black.
SAFETY POINTS FOR REWIRABLE OR MOULDED PLUG
The mains lead of this appliance may be already tted with a BS1363 13A plug.
• If your socket outlet is not suitable for the plug, then the plug must be removed (cut off if it is a moulded
on plug), the exible cord insulation should be stripped back as appropriate and a suitable 3 pin plug
tted.
WARNING: Dispose of a plug that has been cut from the power supply cord, as such a plug is
hazardous if inserted in a live 13A socket outlet elsewhere in the house.
• Should the fuse need to be replaced an ASTA marked fuse, approved to BS 1362, of the same rating
must be used.
• Always replace the fuse cover after tting a fuse. The plug must NOT be used if the cover is omitted
or lost until a replacement is obtained. Make certain that only the correct fuse cover is used and tted.
• For plugs with detachable fuse cover, the replacement must be the same as the colour insert in the base
of the plug, or as directed by the embossed wording on the base of the plug.
• If the detachable fuse cover is lost a replacement may be purchased from a Service Centre.
• Information for supply may also be obtained from the plug manufacturer.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Countertop: appliance to store at negative temperature, fresh ice creams, sorbets and foods suitable to be stored at
the temperature granted by this machine.
The storage temperature is regulated by an electronic programmer. The storage is supplied with four stainless steel
pans with a capacity of 2.5 l each (1/4 Gastronom) or 3 pans of 3.4l + 1 of 2.5l.
Technical data is reported on the plate on the back of the device.
INSTALLATION
• Remove device from packaging. The packaging materials must be disposed selectively on the basis of their
composition.
• Place the device on a at surface, away from heat and sunlight. Ensure that the ventilation grill at the base of the
device is not obstructed. Leave a minimum distance of 20 cm from walls or other surrounding objects.
• Clean the device inside with lukewarm water and neutral soap, using a non-abrasive sponge, and dry with a soft
cloth.
• For a proper sanitization carefully follow the provisions of hygiene standards applicable in your country (HACCP or
equivalent).
• Clean the device outside with a damp cloth and detergent suitable for cleaning surfaces, dry with a soft cloth.
USE
• Connect the power cable (12) to the socket (11). Insert the plug into the appropriate electrical socket and press the
main switch (1).
• The electronic thermoregulator (13) will show the temperature in the tank.
• The compressor cooling system starts operating after 5 minutes. The light (2) will ash for 5 minutes, until the
compressor starts, and then become xed. At the same time, the light (8) will turn on, indicating that the ventilation
inside the tank is on.
• The temperature gradually decreases. Once the set temperature is reached, the compressor stops and the lights
(2) and (8) will turn off. Wait for the appliance to reach the set operating temperature before introducing the product.
• The compressor will turn on again when the temperature measured in the tank differs by 2°C more than the set one.
• By pressing the on/off button (7) for 2 seconds, the storage can be turned off or on, making sure that the main switch
(1) is in the ON position
SETTING UP THE TEMPERATURE
Countertop temperature is selected by the manufacture at -12°C.
How to change countertop temperature:
• press the “SET” button (6) for 3 seconds, the display will show the message “UnL”, briey press the “SET” button
(6) again and the set storage temperature will appear on the display. Now you can change the storage temperature.
NOTE: if the device remains inactive for more than 30 “, the display will automatically block the functions by showing
the message« LoC »for a few seconds.
• Repeat the procedure to unlock the display and access the operating temperature setting.
• Press the button (6): the light (2) will start ashing.
• Press button (3) to decrease and button (4) to increase the temperature. Variations can be made within a limited
adjustment range, between -10°C and -16°C.
• Press the button (6) once or wait 15 seconds; the led (2) will stop, the new parameter will be memorized and the
electronic programmer will return to indicate the temperature of the tank. In 15 “the device will automatically lock
the display.
ATTENTION: the counter for storage is not suitable for freezing products but only serves to keep them frozen. On
one side of the tank, under the gelato pans, there is a fan that allows air to circulate to keep the internal temperature
uniform. The fan is activated by the thermal regulator light (8) and stops each time the cover (5) is opened.
MAINTENANCE
• Cleaning the cabinet: clean using a damp cloth and detergent suitable for cleaning the surfaces and dry with a
soft cloth.
• Cleaning the tank: clean the internal tank with warm water and neutral soap using a non-abrasive sponge and dry
with a soft cloth. For correct sanitation, strictly follow the hygiene regulations in force in your country (HACCP or
equivalent).

DEFROST:
IMPORTANT: the appliance has manual defrosting.
When the formation of ice on the walls of the tank exceeds the thickness of 0.5cm, it is necessary to defrost in order
not to compromise the thermal efciency of the storage.
Proceed as follows:
• Remove the plug from the socket.
• Transfer the product stored in the trays to another suitable storage device.
• Place the container (10) under the collector (9) located under the storage case.
• Remove the drain plug (9) and let the internal ice melt and the water ow from the drain (9). Dry thoroughly.
• When the tank is completely dry, put the plug into the socket.
• Wait for the appliance to reach operating temperature before placing trays with gelato.
• Never use a metal or sharp tool to remove ice.
EFFICIENCY
To maintain the device efciency operation, clean the condenser regularly. This operation falls outside normal mainte-
nance and should be performed by a qualied technician, who should proceed as follows:
• Switch off the machine by the switch (1) and remove the plug from the electrical socket.
• Clean the condenser with a brush, air jet or suction device to avoid damaging the device.
• Restart the storage unit.
POSSIBLE PROBLEMS
The countertop is not running, programmer is not light up.
• The plug (12) has not been connected to power supply socket (11).
• Back button is switched off.
The storage is not working, programmer is light up.
• The control system waits 5 minutes before restarting the compressor
• The storage was turned off and an attempt was made to restart it immediately.
Compressor stay always switched on, or it switch on and off frequently.
• The room temperature is above 30 ° C.
• Excessive quantity of gelato has been placed in the storage and the mass is not yet at the correct temperature.
• The ventilation grilles (14) are blocked
Vibrations.
• Check that the storage is in a horizontal position.
The storage case makes too much noise.
• The noise may come from the ow of refrigerant gas, this is normal.
• The contraction and expansion of the internal walls can cause creaking.
• The storage is not in level position.
The electronic programmer is not working properly.
• If an error message other than those described in this manual appears on the display, contact an authorized Service
Center.
