The Netopia 3342 ADSL Pocket Modem is designed for
mass-market deployment to single-PC broadband
households. The Netopia 3342 combines an ADSL
modem and USB interface, along with powerful
software features for deployment and support savings.
The Netopia 3342 is the world's smallest ADSL Smart
Modem, leveraging a compact design for lower cost
deployment and customer convenience. The Pocket
Modem connects directly to the USB port and is host
powered, eliminating the need for an external power
supply.
With Netopia’s installation wizards and built-in
WebUI, the Pocket Modem can be installed in minutes.
The built-in PPPoE client on the Pocket Modem
eliminates licensing costs and reduces the support
burden created by PPPoE client installation on the
home computer.
Unlike conventional modems, the Netopia 3342 Pocket
Modem's intelligent software features reduce the cost
of ongoing customer support, while increasing
customer satisfaction. One-click diagnostics make
customer self-support intuitive, easy, and fast. When
necessary, the Pocket Modem’s IP address and
logging features enable remote management and fast
trouble-shooting. The results are higher uptime,
