Installation Guide for Turbo Blower
NX/NC Turbo blower series

This manual provides safe and reliable instructions for the installation of Neuros turbo blower.
Carefully read this manual before attempting installation. If you are uncertain about any of

Location Selection

■Install the blower to a firm and level foundation
(such as a concrete floor).
(Recommended foundation : more than 100mm)
For maintenance perspective, both of the distance
between each blower and between blower and wall
of blower room has to be 1500mm at least.
■Make the blower even and have enclosure supports
completely contacting with the foundation.
( Horizontal angle is within 0.5°in all directions.)
■Due to very low vibration level of the blower,
vibration isolating pads are not necessary.

■According to installation place, use a forklift or a hoist.
Select and use a proper sling belt or ropes depend on
gross weight of blower.
■In case use a forklift, forks have to pass through
blower enclosure like fig. 2 to prevent blower from
falling to the ground due to wrong use of the forklift.
Recommend to use protection pads between the forklift
and enclosure .
■In case a hoist or crane is used, installation method
is different according to enclosure type.

Eye Bolt Type
■Lift up and transport the blower with hooking ropes
over eye-bolts.
■There are 4 pcs of eye-bolts on the corners of top
section in order to lift up the blower. Be careful not
to deform eye-bolts and make the blower fall to the
ground due to wrong use of eye-bolts.
When you lift up the blower with hooking ropes over
eye-bolts, the angle (β) between rope and an eye-bolt
should not exceed 45 degree. As β = α/2, α should
not exceed 90 degrees.
The load capacity of eye-bolt is largest in vertical lift,
but it decreases by half when 45 degree-lift.
Therefore, all the eye-bolts should be used when lifting
up the blower.

No Eye Bolt Type
■Lift up and transport the blower with ropes or sling
belts.
■When you lift up the blower by hooking ropes or sling
belt to crane or hoist, the angle (α) should not exceed
90 degree.
H” is height of enclosure and “h” is length from top of
enclosure to a hook of the crane or hoist. The length
of “h” should be ½ ~ 1 longer than the enclosure height.
(Length of “h” = 1/2H ~ H)
During lift and transportation, it is necessary to keep
the blower horizontal and steady. Be careful about
quick break and quick operation to prevent blower
from falling to the ground.

■Locate ropes or sling belt just next to Anchor/Leveling
foot (just inside the foot) which is at both ends. It is
required to use protection pads between enclosure and
ropes or sling belt.
If not fixed the ropes or slipped, to fix the ropes or sling belt
with the another rope.
