INSTRUCCIÓN DE OPERACIÓN
Alimentación a pilas
Destape el compartimiento de las pilas e inserte tres pilas de 1,5v tal y como se
indica en dicho compartimiento.
Para el reloj, inserte dos pilas AAA tal y como se indica en el compartimiento.
Alimentación de Fuente
Conecte el cable de alimentación al enchufe de pared.
Para desenchufar completamente el aparato de la fuente de alimentación,
desconecte el cable del enchufe de pared.
Ajustar el Reloj
1. Compruebe que la radio estéapagada
2. Presione CLOCK SET por 3 segundos en el panel delantero para iniciar el
ajuste del reloj.
3. Presione el botón de Tuning + para seleccionar entre el modo de 12-horas o el
de 24-horas .
4. Presione CLOCK SET en el panel delantero para ajustar la hora.
5. Para ajustar la hora, presione TUNING + o TUNING - mientras pantalla
parpadea.
6. Presione CLOCK SET en el panel delantero para ajustar los minutos.
7. Presione TUNING + o TUNING - mientras la pantalla parpadea.
8. Presione CLOCK SET en el panel delantero para terminar el ajuste del reloj.
Ajustar la Alarma
1. Compruebe que la radio estéapagada
2. Presione TIMER SET por 3 segundos en el panel delantero para iniciar el
ajuste de la alarma.
3. Para ajustar la hora, presiona TUNING + o TUNING - mientras la pantalla
parpadea
4. Presione TIMER SET en el panel delantero para ajustar los minutos.
5. Presione TUNING + o TUNING - mientras la pantalla parpadea
6. Presione TIMER SET en el panel delantero para terminar el ajuste de la
alarma.

Observación: Presione TIMER SET para permitir / inhabilitar la función de alarma.
Asegúrese de que el icono de la alarma estáencendido si la función de alarma
estáen uso.
Radio
1. Presione ON / STAND BY para encender la radio.
2.Presione BAND una vez o más veces para seleccionar entre FM o AM.
3. La pantalla muestra las detalles de la estación del radio.
4. Seleccione su estación usando TUNING + o TUNING -.
5. Ajuste el sonido con VOLUME.
6. Para apagar la radio, presione ON / STAND BY una vez.

Sintonía automática
1. Presione y sujete TUNING + o TUNING - hasta que la pantalla de frecuencias
comience a funcionar.
2. Cuando sintonice una emisora con señal suficiente, la sintonización terminará.
Usted puede terminarla automáticamente presionando TUNING +o TUNING -
otra vez.
Presintonías
Usted puede almacenar en la memoria de la unidad hasta un máximo de 50
emisoras de radio (30 en FM y 20 en AM). Una emisora almacenada puede ser
borrada de la memoria al guardar otra en su lugar.
1. Presione PROGRAM una vez para entrar en modo programar.
2. Seleccione la banda (FM/AM) y sintonice a su estación deseada (Consulte
Sintonía).
3. Presione PROGRAM una vez más para confirmar la emisora seleccionada.
4. Presione PRESET + o PRESET –para seleccionar la localización de la
emisora seleccionada.
5 Para oír una estación presintonizada:
• Seleccione la banda (AM/FM)
• Presione PRESET + o PRESET –para selecionar su estación deseada.

Para Mejorar la Recepción:
- Para FM, extraiga la antena telescópica. Para mejorar la Recepción de FM
incline y ajuste la antena, reduzca su longitud si el signo de FM es demasiado
fuerte (muy cerca de un transmisor).
- Para AM el aparato se equipa con una antena incorporada, por eso no es
necesario usar la antena telescópica. Ajuste el aparato para encontrar la major
posición.
Volumen
Ajuste el sonido con los controles de VOLUME + o VOLUME –.
Si asílo desea, puede conectar auriculares (3,5mm ) a la unidad. Si asílo hace,
los altavoces de la misma se silenciaran y el sonido pasaráa través de los
auriculares. (Auriculares no incluidos).

Sintonía
Sintonía manual
Presione TUNING + o TUNING - brevemente, una vez o más veces hasta que la
correcta frecuencia se encuentre

2. Siempre desconecte el cable de alimentación de la toma de corriente cuando
la unidad no estéen uso o cuando desee utilizar la unidad mediante pilas.
3. No deje las pilas en el compartimiento por un largo tiempo. Si no va a utilizar la
unidad por un periodo largo de tiempo retire las pilas para evitar que se sulfaten y
se produzcan daños en la unidad.
4. No exponga la unidad temperaturas extremas ni a una alta humedad para así
poder asegurar un normal funcionamiento y durabilidad de la misma.

5. Si usted descubre que la unidad no funciona apropiadamente, por favor llévela
al centro de servicio técnico más cercano. No intente repararla usted mismo.
ADVERTENCIA:
Para prevenir los peligros de incendio o choque, no exponga la unidad a la lluvia
ni a la humedad.
Para evitar descargas eléctricas, no abra el aparato y consulte a su servicio
técnico..

PRECAUCIONES:
1. Para su uso a través de la toma de corriente asegúrese de que el voltaje es
compatible. Siempre use el cable de alimentación provisto; nunca use otros
cables.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
Battery Supply
Open the battery compartment and insert as indicated in the compartment three
Batteries, type R20, UM1 or D cells.
For Clock backup, insert as indicated in the compartment two Batteries, type R03,
UM4 or AAA cells.
Mains Supply
If the set is equipped with a 127/220V selector, set this selector to the local mains
voltage.
Connect the mains lead to the wall socket. The mains Supply is switched on.
To disconnect the set from the mains completely, withdraw the mains plug from
the wall socket.
Setting The Clock
1. Check the radio is switched off.
2. Press CLOCK SET for 3 seconds on the front panel to start clock setting.
3. Press Tuning + button for 12-hours/24-hours selection.
4. Press CLOCK SET on the front panel to hour setting.
5. To set the hours, press TUNING + or TUNING - while the display is still
flashing.
6. Press CLOCK SET on the front panel to minute setting.
7. To set the minutes, press TUNING + or TUNING - while the display is still
flashing.
8. Press CLOCK SET on the front panel to complete the clock setting.
Setting The Alarm
1. Check the radio is switched off.
2. Press TIMER SET for 3 seconds on the front panel to start alarm setting.
3. To set the hours, press TUNING + or TUNING - while the display is still
flashing.
4. Press TIMER SET on the front panel to minute setting.
5. To set the minutes, press TUNING + or TUNING - while the display is still
flashing.
6. Press TIMER SET on the front panel to complete the alarm setting.
Remark: Press TIMER SET to enable / disable the alarm function. To make sure
the alarm icon is switch on if alarm function is in using,

Radio
1. Press ON / STAND BY to switch on the radio.
2.Press BAND once or more to select FM or AM waveband.
3. The display shows the radio station details throughout the radio mode.
4. Select your station by using TUNING + or TUNING –
5. Adjust the sound with VOLUME.
6. To switch off the radio, press ON / STAND By once.
Tuning
Manual tuning
Press TUNING + or TUNING –briefly, once or more until the right frequency is
found.
Automatic tuning
1. Press and hold down TUNING + or TUNING –until the display frequency starts
to run.
2. When a station of sufficient strength has been found tuning stops, or you can
stop automatic tuning by pressing TUNING + or TUNING –again.
Presets
You can store the frequencies of up to 50 radio stations in the memory, (30 in FM
wave bands; 20 on AM wave band). A stored frequency can be erased from the
memory by storing another frequency in its place.
1. Press PROGRAM once to enter programming mode.
2. Select your wave band and tune to your desired station (See TUNING).
3. Press PROGRAM once again to confirm the selected station.
4. Press PRESET + or PRESET –to select the desired memory location.
5 To listen to a preset station:
• select your waveband;
• press the PRESET + or PRESET –for selecting your desired station.
To improve reception:
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial. To improve FM Reception incline and turn
the aerial, reduce its length if the FM-signal is too strong (very close to a
transmitter).
- For AM, the set is provided with a built-in aerial, so there is no need to use the
telescopic aerial. Turn the set to find the best position.
Volume
Adjust the sound with the controls VOLUME + or VOLUME -
You may connect headphones with 3.5mm, plug to socket PHONES. The
loudspeaker is then muted.

PRECAUTIONS:
1. For AC operation, make sure the voltage is compatible. Always use the
provided AC power cord; never use other AC power cord.
For DC operation, simply insert three "UM-1 / D" batteries for unit operation;
simply insert two "UM-4 / AAA" batteries for clock operation.
2.Always disconnect the AC power cord from the AC power source when it is not
in use or when DC power is operating.
3. Do not leave the batteries in the compartment for a long time. Remove the
batteries to avoid leakage and damage.
4. Do not expose the unit to extreme temperature nor high humidity to ensure
normal functioning for a long lifetime.
For instances, never place the unit in bathing areas nor around stoves and
radiators.
5. If you find the unit is not working properly, please take it to your nearest
services centre. Do not attempt to repair by yourself.
WARNING :
To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
To avoid electrical shock, do not open the cabinet, refer to service agent or
qualified engineer only.
