• User-friendly interface that can be toggled with the push of a buon.
• Proprietary warming controls to maintain a consistent temperature
throughout the day.
• Built-in safety feature to prevent the warmer from reaching temperatures
above the selected seng.
• Internal LED to illuminate the digital display and to allow the user to quickly
verify warmer temperature
How to Use:
Carefully unpack the warmer and AC power cord. Place the warmer on a at, dry
surface such as a stable counter or desktop. Connect the cord to the back of the
warmer. Plug the other end of the cord into a standard 110V AC 60hz power outlet.
Once plugged in, the warmer is on and ready for use.
Open the hinged lid and load the Clear Image Singles® Ultrasound Gel Packets (or
other brand) into the warmer’s packet holding cavity. Reclose the lid to maintain
the temperature of the warmer and to keep dust and foreign objects out.
Oponally, place up to three ultrasound gel boles (with lids securely closed)
horizontally in the holding cavity. This posion warms the gel throughout the enre
bole, not solely the boom.
Once the unit is plugged in, it defaults to the Low seng and remains on the Low
seng unl the user selects a dierent temperature. To select the desired warmer
temperature, use the three buons located underneath the lighted display.
Ultrasound Gel Packet Warmer
Aer pressing a temperature buon the lighted display will show the temperature
you selected. The temperature seng remains in eect unl another temperature
buon is pressed or the unit is turned o. When the cavity is fully loaded, the
warmer will reach the selected temperature within two hours and maintain that
temperature while the unit is on.
The Warmer uses real-me temperature sensing. This technology enables the user
to verify the temperature of the internal sensor at any me. This may be helpful, in
instances when the warmer has been plugged in for less than 2 hours and the user
wants to know how close the warmer is to the intended set temperature. To check
the temperature, simply press the buon of your current temperature seng. For
example, if your unit is set to warm to 100°F, press the middle buon again and the
screen will momentarily display the warmer’s current temperature.
LEFT BUTTON: Low, 95°F (35°C)
MIDDLE BUTTON: Medium, 100°F (38°C)
RIGHT BUTTON: High, 105°F (41°C)
When ready to use gel, li the lid of the warmer, remove a packet (or bole)
and reclose the lid. It is recommended to check that the warmth of the gel is as
expected before applying to paent’s skin.
To turn o the warmer, simply unplug from the outlet.
Cleaning:
The Ultrasound Gel Warmer has a curved outer design to aid in cleaning and
disinfecng. The gel-holding cavity does not contain seams, hard corners or sharp
edges that might harbor bacteria or hinder cleaning eciency and eecveness.
Before cleaning, empty the warmer and make sure the warmer is unplugged and
cooled down. Use a quaternary cleaning wipe (such as SONO® Ultrasound Wipes)
to make contact with every surface inside the warmer’s packet holding cavity.
Wipe down the lid and the outside of the unit, being careful to avoid the electrical
outlet area. In lieu of cleaning wipes, use a mild detergent on a slightly damp cloth.
When cleaning is completed, allow the unit to air dry before plugging it back in and
relling it with gel packets.
Troubleshoong:
• If the digital display does not illuminate, conrm the plug is rmly pushed into
the electrical outlet and ensure the outlet has power.
• If gel does not feel warm enough, make sure the device is powered on. Try
using a higher temperature seng. Select gel closer to the boom of the
cavity. When rst plugging in the unit, allow two hours to reach the selected
temperature.
• If the gel feels too warm, try the lowest temperature seng or refer to the
programmable feature to congure your own temperature sengs.
For addional quesons or concerns, contact NEXT Medical Products or your
distributor.
Programmable Feature:
If desired, the default temperature sengs are programmable and can be
decreased by following these steps:
1) Hold the Lemost Buon for 5 seconds - release when you see the screen
display P0.
2) Using the middle buon to scroll up or the rightmost buon to scroll down,
press unl locang one of the P values listed below.
P7 - Lowest seng P8 - Mid seng P9 - High seng
3) When the desired P value is showing on the display, quickly press the
lemost buon. Then, change the P value’s temperature seng by scrolling
up with the rightmost buon or down using the middle buon. Aer
reaching the desired number, wait approximately ve seconds for the
warmer to reset to the new temperature seng.
Repeat steps 1 - 3 to change another P value.
