User guide
Thank you for purchasing the Smart Wi-Fi LED light strip
from Nexxt Solutions. We are excited to be part of making
your life easier, safer and bringing peace of mind into your
homes.

* The starter kit comes with the controller and power adapter
pre-installed.
Preliminary steps
A. For predetermined 3.3ft strip lengths
1. First you will need to determine the mounting location
of the strip lights and the total length required.
2. For continuous, extended runs, use the supplied 4-pin
male header connectors to attach the additional strips
needed to complete the desired length. To do this, follow
the steps below:
2.1. Connect the 4-pin header male connector to one end
of the female header on the rst light strip.
2.2. Connect the second light strip female connector to
the 4-pin male header of the rst strip.
2.3. Connect the third light strip female connector to the
4-pin male header of the second strip.

Note: Make sure that markings on the strip match
pin-to-pin on both sides of the connection (+to +, G to G, R
to R, B to B).
Use the optional locking fastener for connection reliability.
3. Clean the installation surface. Peel o the adhesive tape
and apply. Make sure the area is dry and smooth for
long-lasting results.
Note: For indoor use only.
4. Plug the strip into a standard wall outlet.
5. The LED strip will automatically turn on and enter into
the pairing mode (blinking LEDs). Otherwise, press the
power button on the controller to turn on the device. Press
it once more to enable the pairing mode manually.
B. For customized strip lengths
1. First you will need to determine the mounting location of
the strip lights and the total length required.
2. Cut the light strip to the required size using the
designated lines on the strip to preserve functionality.

6. Clean the installation surface. Peel o the adhesive tape
and apply. Make sure the area is dry and smooth for
long-lasting results.
7. Proceed to connect and power on the unit. Make sure
that all LED strips light up uniformly. If not, repeat steps 4
through 6.
Factory reset: Press and hold the controller button for
about 5 seconds until the red LED starts blinking. Then
release the button, as it indicates that the strip has been
successfully restored to its factory default values.
3. Use the supplied 4-pin termination connector (must be
fully open) to attach the additional length needed to
complete the desired run.
4. Verify that all four pins are properly aligned (+12V to
+12V, G to G, R to R, B to B) prior to locking the connector.
Note: If pins are not positioned correctly, the strip will not
turn on.
5. Press rmly to secure both ends of the connector until it
clicks in place.
Note: The light strip has to be fully inserted into the
termination connector to ensure a good connection.

Step 1
Select Add device, followed by the smart light strip.

Step 2
Power on the smart light strip. You must connect to a
2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Enter your network password.
Make sure you enter the correct password, otherwise the
device will not connect.

Step 3
Power on the smart light strip. If it fails to blink, reset the
smart light strip. Turn it off from the switch, wait 5 seconds
before turning it back on again. Tap on Confirm the light
blinks rapidly.

Functions
Light strip: Turns the strip LEDs on and o.
Color: Changes the color, brightness, and saturation of the
LED lights.
Scene: Gives you several preselected scenes and four
scenes you can congure.
Music: Dynamically synchronizes lights with music, and
illuminates the strip accordingly.
Schedule: Allows you to add time and day schedule for the
device to turn on or o.

Step 4
When Device added successfully is displayed, assign a
location and click on Done.

Step 1
Click on the schedule icon to access the Add schedule
screen.

Step 2
Set the time you wish to schedule. Select Repeat to set
days of the week. Select Switch to schedule on/o status.
Click on Save on the upper right-hand corner to save a
schedule.

Delete setup
To remove a schedule on iOS, slide item to the left, and for
Android, press and hold the desired Schedule, followed by
Delete.
Settings
Click on the pencil icon on the upper right-hand corner.
Device name: changes the name of the LED
strip.
Device Information: will show the
information related to the light strip.
Tap-To-Run and Automation: links the LED
strip with other smart products to automatically
control them through a customized command.
Third-party control: enables the voice
recognition feature through Alexa and Google
Assistant.
Oine notication: selection button to
enable/disable this feature.
Share device: allows to share the light strip
with family and friends.
Create group: makes management
of devices easier by selecting and
arranging multiple components under
a single group.
Feedback: let us know if you have any issues
setting up the light strip.
Check network: test your network to
make sure you have a good signal.
Check for rmware upgrade: we will
sometimes add new features or provide
updates with a new rmware upgrade.
Remove device: allows you to delete the LED
strip from the application.

Share device
Click on Share devices then tap Add sharing. Enter the
mobile number/e-mail address of family and friends
(phone, US only). Tap on Done. The newly congured users
will now have access to your smart light strip.
Note: family or friends will need their own Nexxt Solutions
Home Account to access the device.
Delete user
To remove a user, on Android press and hold the name you
want to eliminate. On iOs slide to the left the user you want
to remove. Click on Delete. A notication conrming you
don’t want to share the device with this user will be
displayed. Click on Conrm.

Pasos preliminares
A. Para longitudes predeterminadas de 1m
1. Determine primero la ubicación para montar la cinta de
luces y la longitud total que se requiere.
2. Para tramos más extensos de una sola hilera, utilice los
conectores macho de 4 alfileres que se incluyen con el
producto para unir las tiras que necesita con el fin de
completar la longitud deseada. Para lograrlo, siga los pasos
a continuación:
2.1. Inserte el conector macho de 4 alfileres a un
extremo del conector hembra perteneciente a la
primera cinta.
2.2. Una el conector hembra de la segunda cinta con el
conector macho perteneciente a la primera cinta.
2.3. Una el conector hembra de la tercera cinta con el
conector macho perteneciente a la segunda cinta.

Nota: Cerciórese de que las marcas en la cinta coincidan
con cada aller en ambos lados de la conexión (+ con +, G
con o G, R con R, B con B).
Use la unión de seguridad para mantener la abilidad de la
conexión.
3. Limpie la supercie de instalación. Retire el protector de
la cinta adhesiva antes de aplicar. Asegúrese de que el área
esté seca y uniforme con el n de garantizar la máxima
sujeción por largo tiempo.
Nota: Para uso en interiores solamente.
4. Enchufe la cinta en un tomacorriente estándar de la
pared.
5. La cinta de luces se debe encender e iniciar en forma
automática el emparejamiento de la unidad (los LEDs se
iluminan intermitentemente). De lo contrario, presione el
botón del controlador para prender el dispositivo. Pulse el
mismo botón una vez más a continuación para habilitar el
modo de emparejamiento en forma manual.
B. Para longitudes conforme a las preferencias
del usuario
1. Determine primero la ubicación para montar la cinta de
luces y la longitud total que se requiere.
2. Recorte la cinta según el largo requerido guiándose por
la línea marcada con el n de mantener su funcionalidad.

6. Limpie la supercie de instalación. Retire el protector de
la cinta adhesiva antes de aplicar. Asegúrese de que el área
esté seca y uniforme con el n de garantizar la máxima
sujeción por largo tiempo.
7. Proceda a conectar y a encender la unidad. Cerciórese de
que todas las luces a lo largo de la cinta se iluminen de
manera uniforme. De lo contrario, repita los pasos de 4 al 6.
Reposición total: Mantenga presionado el botón del
controlador por unos 5 segundos hasta que el LED de color
rojo comience a parpadear. Suelte el botón a continuación,
lo anterior indica que se ha restablecido la cinta a sus
valores originales de fabricación.
3. Utilice el conector para terminación de 4 alleres
suministrado (debe estar abierto completamente) para
unir las tiras adicionales que se necesitan para completar el
tramo deseado.
4. Verique que los alleres se encuentran debidamente
alineados (+12V con +12V, G con G, R con R, B con B) antes
de asegurar el conector.
Nota: De no insertar correctamente los alleres, no se va a
encender la cinta.
5. Presione rmemente hasta que ambos extremos del
conector queden debidamente asegurados en su lugar.
Nota: Se debe insertar la cinta de luces completamente en
el conector de terminación para garantizar una buena
conexión.
