your product.

3. Ensure that your hair is completely dry and tangle free before using your
straightener.
HINTS AND TIPS
• To achieve the best results, your hair should be completely dry.

• As with all straighteners that reach salon high temperatures, do not use
them too frequently in order to avoid damaging your hair.
USING YOUR HAIR STRAIGHTENER
IMPORTANT: THIS PRODUCT REACHES SALON HIGH TEMPERATURES
Do not leave on your hair for more than a few seconds as this may
damage your hair.
1. Plug your straightener into a suitable mains supply. There is no need to
preheat your straightener. Always place your straightener on a solid, at,
stable, heat resistant surface. Do not place your straightener on a soft or
uneven surface such as a carpet, bedding or rug, and never cover your
straightener. The plates reach high temperatures very quickly. As with all
products that reach salon high temperatures, do not use your straightener
too frequently to avoid damaging your hair.
2. Switch your straightener on by pressing the on/off switch. The display will
show 180ºC as your straightener heats up.
3. Refering to the table, select the most suitable heat setting for your hair
type using the temperature increase/decrease buttons. The display will
ash the selected temperature when heating up. When the temperature
is reached, the display will stop ashing.
Temperature Hair type
130-170ºC Fine
180-190ºC Medium
200-210ºC Thick
220-230ºC Very thick
The hair types in the table are for guidance only and some experimentation
will be needed to discover the best setting for your hair type.
4. Separate a section of hair approximately 5cm in width and smooth it out
with a brush.
5. Place the chosen section of hair between the plates of your straightener
and close the plates. Take care not to touch the plates which are very hot
with your ngertips.
6. Hold the straightener in place until the section of hair is fully heated. This
will be almost instantaneous.
7. Once your hair is heated, carefully slide the plates in one smooth movement
all the way down to the ends of your hair whilst holding it taut.
8. Keep the section of hair smooth whilst you work in order to avoid ridges
and kinks.
9. Switch off your straightener by pressing and holding the on/off button until
the display goes out then unplug it from the supply socket. Always allow
your straightener to completely cool down before storing.
AUTO SHUT OFF
Your straightener is tted with a safety auto shut off feature and after
approximately 1 hour it will automatically switch itself off. To restart it, switch
it off then back on again using the on/off switch. You should not rely on
the Auto Shut Off feature for switching off after use, always switch off your
straightener using the on/off switch and unplug it from the supply socket.
• Never place the appliance on unprotected polished surfaces.
• Never leave the appliance unattended when switched on.
• Never drop the appliance on to a hard surface.
