Nikken PiMag™Aqua Pour™Deluxe Gravity Water System
Congratulations on your purchase of the PiMag Aqua Pour Deluxe. This innovative product is designed
for use with any standard water cooler or hot/cold dispenser, and offers the same advantages: water
on tap, compact dimensions, convenience. But the PiMag Aqua Pour Deluxe is so much more.
Unlike ordinary water coolers, the Aqua Pour Deluxe features multistage filtration using natural
materials and processes, to provide water that is naturally clear, sparkling and delicious. Only Nikken
technology produces PiMag water, a discovery that Japanese scientists call “the water of life.”
The PiMag Aqua Pour Deluxe can be your source of fresh, filtered PiMag water almost any place, any
time, as no plumbing is required. Because the Aqua Pour Deluxe uses a top-filled, gravity-flow system,
it eliminates the need to struggle with heavy water bottles. Aqua Pour Deluxe provides you with
delicious PiMag water wherever you are.
FEATURES OF AQUA POUR DELUXE
•When used with a faucet-type water cooler or hot/cold dispenser, the Aqua Pour Deluxe produces
hot or chilled PiMag water for any use — for hot drinks, cooking, or delicious cold water with no ice
cubes needed.
•Microsponge prefilter — synthesized from natural material, this porous filter reduces particulates and
other material. It is washable (replacement is recommended every 5 years, or when permanent
discoloration occurs).
•Ceramic prefilter — this component is used when intensive filtration is desired or where more
sediment is present.
•Ion exchange filter — serves as a filter and water softener.
•Carbon filter — this filter contains activated carbon. It further reduces the amounts of contaminants by
natural filtration.
•Pi ceramics — pi material is added to create PiMag water, the “water of life.”
•Zeolite filter — a granular substance, zeolite provides additional filtration while reducing
water hardness.
•Mineral stones — these stones contain minerals and help to regulate the water acid/alkaline balance.
•Magnetic ring — the filtered PiMag water passes through a magnetic field, of 1,200-gauss
magnetic energy.
The contaminants or other substances reduced by this water treatment device are not necessarily in your water. Use only on
municipally treated water or other supply known to be microbiologically safe.
CAUTION: Fill with cold water only. This product contains silver used to inhibit the growth of bacteria in the filter. Silver has a
low toxicity to humans but is highly toxic to fish and other aquatic life. This product is designed to remove objectionable tastes,
odors and colors from municipally treated tap water.
If you use an electronic medical device such as a pacemaker, or have a magnetically sensitive surgical implant, do not use or
wear magnetic products. Women in the first trimester of pregnancy, or anyone who has a health problem should first consult a
physician before using magnetic products. Do not place magnetic products in direct contact with magnetically sensitive items
such as watches, audio/video tapes, credit cards, portable electronic equipment, etc.
When the PiMag Aqua Pour Deluxe is fully assembled, do not attempt to carry or move it. To fill the Aqua Pour, use a pitcher or
other container, as shown in the instructions.
Cooler or dispenser unit not included.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Note: The PiMag Aqua Pour Deluxe is designed for use only in combination with a water
cooler or hot/cold dispenser unit. DO NOT attempt to use the Aqua Pour Deluxe tank
unless is it properly fitted in a cooler or dispenser.
Follow all instructions and safety precautions specified by the dispenser manufacturer in
setting up and using the dispenser unit.
Before assembling the tank unit, unpack and set up the cooler or dispenser in the
location selected.
Prior to assembly, compare the main diagram with your PiMag™ Aqua Pour™ Deluxe,
and make sure all the components are present.
1. Locate the filter cartridge (H) and remove from packaging.
• Remove and discard the end caps that cover the top and bottom of the cartridge.
• Rinse the filter cartridge in cold, clean water for 5-10 minutes. Keep flushing until the water
flowing through the unit is completely clear.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use hot water. Do not use soap or detergent to clean the cartridge.
2. Wash the inside of the fill tank (E) and supply tank (J) with water and a mild detergent
or soap.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use hot water. Rinse both tanks very thoroughly.
• Insert the Aqua Pour bottom plate in the top of a water cooler or hot/cold dispenser
already in place.
• Locate the connector base (M) with the attached float (N). Unscrew the nut (K) that holds
the float assembly in the connector base. Make sure that the soft ring seal remains in
place surrounding the opening of the base.
• Position the supply tank on top of the base, and connect the two by placing the nut inside
the supply tank and tightening it on the top of the float assembly.
• Install the assembled tank and base on top of dispenser.
3. Rinse the mineral stones (L) thoroughly under running cold water. Set on a towel to air dry.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use soap or detergent.
• Place the mineral stones in the bottom of the water supply tank.
• Arrange the stones in a circle so that they do not touch the filter when it is inserted.
• Place the water tank cover (I) on the supply tank. This is the cover that has a large hole in
the middle.
4. Screw the filter cartridge (H) into the cartridge adapter (F), which is attached to the bottom
of the water fill tank.
• Place water fill tank on top of water tank cover.
5. Rinse the microsponge filter (B) or ceramic filter (O) thoroughly in cold, clean running water.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use hot water. Do not use soap or detergent to clean the
microsponge or ceramic filter.
• When the microsponge is still wet, press it in place inside the opening in the top of the fill
tank. (To install the ceramic filter instead, refer to the instructions on its use.)
6. Pour water into the fill tank (use COLD municipally treated tap water only, and fill using a
pitcher or other container).
• When the tank is full, press several times on the microsponge filter or lift an edge of the
sponge to drive out any air bubbles.
7. Water will flow from the tank through the filters and into the supply tank.
• After filling, drain off and discard the first tankful of water. In some areas, the filtered water
may retain a bitter taste, which will require this step to be repeated one or more times.
• Your Nikken PiMag Aqua Pour Deluxe is now ready for use. Fill the water fill tank again
and place the cover (A) on the unit.
Optional ceramic filter
You may use the ceramic filter (O) in place of the microsponge. This component is
designed for intensive filtration, which removes a greater amount of material sediments
and requires a longer time to operate.
