Meet the FaceTrainer
The FaceTrainer by no!no! is a fitness
device that applies the principles of
resistance training to the muscles we
all ignore, our most visible muscles,
the muscles of the face�
Its unique method tightens and tones
your face in the same way you tone the
rest of your body� It leaves your skin
looking vibrant and more youthful�
The FaceTrainer works to reduce the
signs of aging by toning the underlying
muscles� When used on a regular
basis, wrinkles appear smoother and
less visible� Neck Strap

FaceTrainer Tips
Keep your FaceTrainer fresh and new for the1� best training results� Use the FaceTrainer
Cleaning Wipes after each use�
Always use the FaceTrainer on a fresh, clean2� face� Use a moisturizing cleanser to keep your
skin smooth and supple� This is important,
as the skin must be able to move freely and
with ease and fluidity as your facial muscles
expand and contract during exercise� Then,
gently pat dry�
Keep track of the total months you have used3� your FaceTrainer� Replace after every 4-6
months of use, depending on its condition�
If you feel you need to challenge yourself even4� more, you may increase your training time
to 12 or even 15 minutes� However, we do not
recommend that you use the FaceTrainer for
more than 20 minutes at a time; allow your
muscles to rest and your skin to breathe�
Even the most advanced FaceTrainers may
experience sustained results with only 10
minutes a day�
Advancing to Level 2 after 60 days is5� recommended for the general public�
However, if you are familiar with exercise and
feel that you are progressing rapidly, you may
move up to Level 2 after 30 days�
If you choose to do this, simply jump from
Week 4 to Week 9 in the training regimen,
skipping the second month� This will
accelerate you to the alternating-level
maintenance phase in 8 weeks versus 12
weeks�
To minimize muscles soreness and speed up6� recovery time, do simple facial stretches and
massages�
The easiest way to stretch is by placing your
ring fingers and middle fingers together,
directly over your brow, without wearing
the FaceTrainer� This is the same finger
positioning as in the ‘Eye Opener and Forehead
Smoother’ described in the Advanced Training
Techniques section of this manual� With your
fingers in place, simply open your mouth into
a large oval, just like the Surprised Face, but
relax your eyebrows and pull them up with you
fingers� Allow your eyes to open wide as you
feel the stretch�
To massage, simply place pressure on sore
areas with your fingertips or knuckles and
hold for 20 seconds� For soreness around
the jaw, it helps to create circular motions�
Massage will help relieve tension if done
correctly�

Before You Start
Tie or brush back your hair.1. If you have long
hair, put it into a ponytail or brush it back out
of your face� You want your entire face and
forehead to make contact with the soft, skin-
like material of the FaceTrainer�
Clean your face and neck thoroughly.2. Be
sure to remove all dirt, oil and makeup from
your face and the front and back of your neck�
Use a moisturizing cleanser to keep your skin
smooth and supple�
Find a mirror.3. It should be large enough to see
your entire face and neck�
During all exercises with the
FaceTrainer, make sure you maintain
proper body posture� Stand or sit with
your shoulders back and your ears
directly over your shoulders�
For more in depth information, please view the
training video� We recommend you follow along
with the training video until you feel completely
comfortable performing all of the exercises on
your own�

Putting on your FaceTrainer
When putting on the FaceTrainer, you should feel a firm, yet comfortable resistance on your facial
muscles� If it feels too tight or uncomfortable, adjust the straps�
Hold the FaceTrainer by the 2 upper
side straps with the silver inside
skin facing you�
Flip it over your
face, placing your
chin in the chin rest�
Attach the 2 upper side straps behind your
head, left over right�
Lift the top strap,
keeping your
eyebrows covered by
the material� Bring
the tension to a point
in which you feel a
lifting of the brow as
you attach the top
strap in the back� Attach the lower 2
side straps behind
your neck, left
over right�
If you have a ponytail,
pull it out so that the 2
lower side straps rest
directly against the
back of your neck�

Adjust for Symmetry
Make sure the material
covers your eyebrows and
neatly frames your eyes�
The lower portion of the opening
should fall right below or even
slightly cover the lower lip�
The chin should be completely
covered�
Make sure your skin is flat
underneath all contact points�
Do not allow your skin to bunch
up, as this may cause lines to
appear� 11

Anchor in Place
Hold the neck strap with the
logo facing up� Attach it to the sides
the FaceTrainer to lock it in place�
Lastly, and always before training, slightly increase the
resistance of the top strap�
Remember, the resistance should feel firm, yet comfortable� If it feels too tight or restricts your
breathing, loosen the attachments and adjust for comfort� You will be able to slightly increase the
tension as you advance, but avoid pulling or stretching your skin� The material is meant to firmly resist
the muscles during movement – not to pull or stretch the skin of your face�

Basic Training – The Surprised Puppy Dog
The basic movement is called the ‘Surprised Puppy Dog’� This simple 2-step movement is the building
block of all FaceTrainer exercises�
Step 1:
The Surprised Face
Open your mouth into the
largest oval shape you can
make while raising your
eyebrows and looking up at
the same time�
To make sure your lips are
staying in a firm oval shape
and never creating lines,
place your index finger in
front of your mouth and
reach out and touch it with
your lips�
Step 2:
The Puppy Dog Face
Relax your eyebrows as
you protrude your lower
jaw until your bottom teeth
move forward in front of
your top teeth�
Touch your lips together, while
firmly keeping them flat� Use
your index finger again to
make sure your lips are
protruding properly�
Avoid creating lines or folds
around your mouth� Also, keep your teeth separated
during the entire exercise� Make sure they do not
touch inside your mouth�

Go back and forth between these movements for
the complete exercise� Relax your eyebrows
during the ‘Puppy Dog Face’ and then
aggressively raise them again as you transition
back into the ‘Surprised Face’� Make sure you only
raise and relax your brow� Never frown or create
lines�
When first starting, just complete one 3-minute
set of the ‘Surprised Puppy Dog’� In no time at all,
you will work your way up to a 5-minute set, and
then eventually to a complete 10-minute training
session�
The neck strap should be worn on
the back of your neck the same
amount of time it’s worn on the
front� So, if you are only performing
1 set, make sure the neck strap is
reversed halfway through the set�
Once you advance to 2 sets, simply place the neck
strap on the back of your neck during the second
set�
After you have mastered the ‘Surprised Puppy
Dog’, you are ready to learn the Advanced
Training Techniques.

Advanced Training Techniques
These exercise focus on specific areas of your face – areas that are most important to you� Use them to
personalize your workout in order to get faster results in your target areas�
Advanced Training Technique #1: The Under-Eye Smoother
This technique helps to smooth the appearance of bags and wrinkles around the eyes and reduce
the look of crow’s feet�
It also helps to lessen the apperance of dark circles and puffiness around the eyes�

Place the middle finger of each
hand underneath each eye�
Perform the ‘Surprised Puppy
Dog’ with your fingers in place�
As you open your mouth for
the ‘Surprised Face’, lean back
and look up at the ceiling� Bring
your lower eyelid up toward
your upper eyelid� Do not squint
downward to touch your eyelids
together� Focus on bringing the
lower eyelid up�
Relax your eyes and brow as
you perform the ‘Puppy Dog
Face’ with your fingers in place�

Advanced Training Technique #2: The Smile-Line Smoother
This exercise is used to help smooth the appearance of lines and folds around the mouth�

Hold your index finger out
in front of your lips while
performing the ‘Surprised
Puppy Dog’� This is the same
technique used in basic training
to make sure your lips are
protruding correctly and not
creating lines�
As your lips move from the oval
shape during the ‘Surprised
Face’, to the flat shape
during the ‘Puppy Dog Face’,
energetically push your lips into
your index finger�
Make sure that your lips are
protruding far enough to push
your finger away from your
teeth� Do not allow the inside of
your lips to touch your teeth�

Advanced Training Technique #3: The Chin & Neck Toner
This exercise is especially helpful to decrease the appearance of neck folds, and double chins and
tone the look of the jaw line�

Place both hands at the base
of your neck, one on top of the
other, with your palms pressing
against your chest and your
thumbs and index fingers
against you neck�
Lean your head back and
look up�
Perform the ‘Surprised Puppy
Dog’� You should instantly feel
this exercise in your chin and
neck, as well as your jaw line�
To increase the effects of this
technique, touch your tongue
to the roof of your mouth
throughout the entire exercise� 17

Advanced Training Technique #4: The Eye Opener and Forehead Smoother
This exercise helps to keep the eyebrows lifted and the eyes open� It also helps smooth the
appearance of wrinkles on the forehead and frown lines between the brows�

Place your ring and middle
finger together just over each
brow� Press down on the
material and lift the muscles
up as you perform the
‘Surprised Puppy Dog’�
Open your eyes as wide as they will go during the ‘Surprised Face’�
Relax them during the ‘Puppy Dog Face’�
Continue to press down just above the brow throughout the
exercise� You should be able to feel your brows rising and relaxing
underneath the material�

Training Regimen
FaceTraining is an endurance-based, high-repetition type of resistance training that may eventually be
performed on a daily basis� When first starting out, try one 3-minute set of just the ‘Surprised Puppy
Dog’ and see how you feel� Your muscles will adapt in time, so keep using the FaceTrainer regularly�
The material will also become more comfortable and continue to conform to your face as the days go
by� So, if it seems difficult at first, don’t get discouraged – just keep training!
We recommend that you follow the attached training regimen to optimize your results:
Remember to move the neck strap to the back of the neck at the halfway point of each training
session.
Do not break up the sets into different times during the day. Perform them one right after
the other.
Level Up
After completing 60 days of FaceTraining we recommend that you move up to the Level 2 FaceTrainer�
This will challenge your muscles even more and bring your results to the next level� However, hold on
to Level 1, you will you use it again soon�
Follow the attached training regimen to optimize your results�
Training Maintenance Regimen
After completing 12 weeks, you may reduce the frequency of your workouts to 3-4 days per week� With
a minimum of 3 days per week, you will be able to maintain the results you have worked so hard to
achieve over the last 3 months� You’ve come this far, so keep it up!
During the maintenance phase, you will alternate between Level 1 and Level 2 every 30 days�
Follow the attached training regimen to optimize your results�

FaceTrainer Care
Keep your FaceTrainer in shape and prolong it’s lifespan with proper care and maintenance�
Cleaning your FaceTrainer
After you’ve completed each training session, use the specially formulated FaceTrainer Cleaning Wipes
to clean the inside of the FaceTrainer� This makes clean up fast and easy, and helps prevent dirt and oil
from settling into the pores of the material�
Once the FaceTrainer has been wiped clean, hang it inside-out on a towel rack or hanger� It is
important to let it air dry for a few minutes before putting it away�
• Do not use the FaceTrainer Cleaning Wipes on the outside
material of your FaceTrainer�
• Keep out of direct sunlight.
• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Do not use a washing machine or dryer.
• Do not iron.
• Do not bleach.
